My opinion, i will only take my car to 2 w/shops: The one i have been using for the past 5yrs, "EAS Performance" and "Racepace" which i have never used but have only heard and seen top work come out of.

I think the factory limiter is set to 7400rpm. I have heard of people poping their engines when they pumped up the limiter to 8000rpm.

As mentioned above, mine are NOT real AVS rims , they are a rip off and made in 19" . They are actually Lenso Muse, 19x8. 3 years ago, when affordable 19's just came on the market, i paid $3600, that also included the tyres, new nuts, 1 set of lock nuts, ballance, alignment and fitting. Tyres: Hankook K104s (These tyres are pretty damn good for their price) F: 245/35/19 R: 275/30/19 And have just recently been powder coated from silver to charcol, giving them a new lease in life :lol: Not a bad result for $120 CameronBNR32: Sorry to divert from your topic, i was originally pointing out that you do not need to buy expevsive rims to make your car look good. If you are happy with the style and colour stick with the Impul. I was not happy with the original colour of my rims as they looked white in photos (i really dislike white rims) and for a mesilly $120 i changed the whole look of the car. They may not be everyones "cup of tea" but i love the change.

These rims look great, but get them in black with the polished dish. As stated b4, if you are happy with the impul rims who cares how much they are worth. A few years ago (appox. 3yrs) i bought a cheap set of 19's for my car. I have just changed the colour of the rims, due to a paint job on the car, and the rims now look hotter then ever, so happy with the end result of the whole project. B)

Looks like my theories, on progression of modifications, are in line with Gary's (Sydneykid), but i am doing all of them at the same time :lol: Gotta be happy with that! The only concern may be my exhaust system, as i intend to make it even quiter (again). My first system only had a short "hotdog" and a straight through cannon muffler; bloody loud but bareable. My second/current system was changed to a long "hotdog" and a hi-flow muffler, deep on idle but pretty resonable while driving (alot quiter than previous). I am now going to remove the "hotdog" and replace it with a second hi-flow muffler. I have been told that i would only loose a maximum of 5-6rwkw from the original set-up, but am willing to sacrifice a little rwkw to hopefully sneak under the police radar .

Yep, i think it fits 2 cans. Not sure if it is the full sized cans or the "Red Bull" type cans.

But you will never know it's true potential, till you spend the $$$ on them :lol: Just think how much power can be had with a good set of cams and some porting . You can make the same power, using less boost, better response and less stress on the engine.

The next "show 'n shine" is next year :lol:, but last night the committee planned out cruises, events, etc. for the next year and boy is it going to be busy. Make sure all your cars are in drivable condition , otherwise you'll miss out. At least one event per month!

Sounds like the original owner ticked all the boxes on the option form. Not sure about the mirror wind deflectors, but the others were factory options.

He is not using the std rb25 (a/r 0.4#) housing, he is using the vg30 (a/r 0.6#) housing.

Nice work, and great report . Are you using factory injectorsand rail? If not, what are you using? Is it possible that at idle the q45 airflow meter is not generating enough voltage for the ecu to recognise? Give us an update on the final result, once it has been tuned.

It appears to be off a '95 S1.5 33, and will only suit S1 or S1.5, due to the shape of the headlights. Would help if the pics were bigger
