  1. Damn i was close to the mark B) , bit more tuning, 18psi and 250 is acheivable . Good result, you should be very happy with that kind of power. Still waiting to get mine back , but i am doing a few mods
  2. Buy 'em and sell the rims, rear ones are almost new .
  3. Why where you backing off? Did you know where the finish line was? Always aim to back off at least 2 car lengths after the finish and use the 2nd exit to gradually slow down.
  4. Yep......... For the same price  Unless you are running some ridicules callipers, these rims should clear them, as they have more clearance than the factory rims.
  5. Hey Snowie, it's a biatch when all these hi-performance cars have blown up or are off the road  . Would have loved to come back with a vengence on the very track that caused me to retire, but my car is also currently in pieces at my mechanics w/shop. If anyone is interested in track rims and tires i have a set that i will probably sell for $1000 Rims (Mismatched pairs) - Fronts: 17 x 8, bought 2nd hand, 5-spoke, clears Skyline calipers easily, correct offset for a 33 gtst. - Rears: 17 x 9, bought as new (only done 2 complete track days), multi-spoke dish, right offset for 33 gtst. Tyres - Bridgestone RE55s, only done 2 complete track days and driving to and from events. - F:235x45x17 - R:255x40x17 NOTE: Tyres alone cost $1400 new
  6. Best way to be certain is to look at the engine number on the block, as all engine numers start with rb2#
  7. Why do ppl assume that a Japanese designed and manufactured product has an English name  In all honesty i have no idea what the RB means. But i do know that all RB engines are an "in-line" 6 cylinder engine. Another English name for RB could be Rail Block .
  8. 26dett => 2.6ltr, Dual over head cams, Efi, Twin Turbo 20de => 2.0ltr, Dual over head cams 25det => 2.5ltr, Dual over head cams, Efi, Turbo (single)
  9. This will deflate you happy bubble , but those cheap turbos are NOT made by Garrett and are not any better than a poorly constructed/designed, china made, turbo. Have heard many stories of those turbos blowing b4 rolling off the dyno. You unfortunately get what you pay for Hope to be proved wrong Alan
  10. With semi's i would have thought a 12 was a sure thing. How did ya go?
  11. Do tell
  12. Ditto........ She has no legal standing to make you fix the car out of your pocket first, then pay you after. In a calm manner ask her to re-write the cheque to your name, for the full amount, mention that you have contacted legal aid and that she can not legally refuse this request. If she refusses, do not argue, simply state that your solicitor will be in touch. Ask your uni legal aid if they could make a phone call, on your behalf, stating that they are legally representing you and once they spin their legal jargon she will be writting that cheque b4 the conversation has ended . If your uni legal aid are unable to make the call you have a choice btw 2 options; Contact a solicitor (PM Ash-R31Nismoid, he knows someone) and pay a small fee for the call/service, or ask an older family friend to act as a solicitor All the best
  13. Glade to hear your happy with the sale, all the best.
  14. All of a sudden i feel like having a sandwiched
  15. Well my car may be out of action , i was going to offer to be your passenger, but i cnbf driving to Eltham just to be a passenger
  16. Al

    R33 S2 Stolen

All the best, will keep an eye out.
  17. You have two kids and you are getting rid of the 2nd most ultimate family car? ps: 1st ultimate would be the Autech version
  18. What you mean by adjustable? My wheel adjusts up and down. You can buy a spacer to extend the reach. Regarding racing seat, your only choice is to get a fixed bucket with fixed rails that mount on the sides of the seats. Any other combo will sit you close to standard height, making the project a waste of money. These seats are legal as long as you passenger seat operates as std (ie: not fixed bucket), or you remove your rear seats and rego the car as a 2 seater. Do you have a sunroof? As i am also 6" and have no problem with seating position, but my head is close to the roof lining. My car does not have a sunroof.
  19. Thanks Ash The Mafia: If you bothered to read the whole thread you would have seen my previous post, saying exactly that But here it is below, just for you:
  20. What area you from RUFFLS?
  21. More pics can be seen at the start and middle of this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=84846 and at the start of this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...00&t=79251&st=0
  22. Actually the combo is pretty standard (and works) for a truck or a rotary engine.
  23. Not sure which actuator is better, as i am note that technically minded, i usually ask the turbo experts that type of question and allow them to make the decision for me . About my combo and your decision, if you could hold off for about 3 weeks i should most definately have a dyno graph to post up. Head has already been sent to be ported, turbo sent to be upgraded, ecu out to be upgraded, cams have arrived, it's all moving quite nicely
  24. Not really, there were plenty of factory pearl red/burgundy colours from various car manufacturers. I chose the '97 Ford Mustang factory pearl red colour
  25. For 11K he may as well give it away. 11K is a joke
