  1. Mine was burgundy and now is a redish pearl colour.
  2. I stand corrected  Either way, pretty useless on a rb25
  3. I'll be surprised if that hits full boost by 5k, on an RB25. That is one useless exhaust housing, sounds like it came off a truck.

    Custom Paint Work

I have seen many cars at car shows with hopeless paint jobs. All you need know a days to enter a car at a car show is the entry fee. You want a top quality job done then unfortunately it will cost you top money. As quality takes experience and ALOT of time, thus why it is expensive. If you want a great job contact YLWGTR2 (Troy) or ask Mavric which panel shop his car is at.
  8. Just noticed your username (IOWNU), saw those plates, while having lunch at Lazy Moes Tulla, on a Lancer and we all couldn't stop laughing. Hopefully that wasn't you or someone you know.
  9. 2.5k for a full engine build sounds cheap, so i am not convineced that this has taken place. If it is in fact correct, i would definately be handing the Tow receipt to ICE and not paying an extra cent for the repair. Hope it wasn't coolant as if you ran it till it stopped then you probably overheated the motor and caused some damage. All the best
  10. I've always said your car reminded me of an Victorian icon
  11. My "no" was based on previous conversions when you only mentioned Tullarmarine and surrounding areas Lets just choose to disagree, on your wrong ideals
  12. Put me down for a copy Chris
  13. Do you also work in the Eatern/Southern areas. No........... So how can you say the western are dodgy if you only see/deal with one small part of the state.
  14. What the hell have you been smoking Kym? All suburbs have dodgy cars and traders. When i was looking for a car (5yrs ago) most the dodgy cars i found where in the Eastern side. You just have to know what to look for and be patient.
  15. At first i wasn't going to post this, as you stated that you wanted to reach 300rwkw, but felt that i should after reading the recent posts. I am currently in the process of modifying my rb25, roller bearing, hi-flow turbo, by replacing the ext. housing with one off a VG30 turbo (slightly larger than the std. rb25 ext. housing). I am also installing a pair of Tomei PonCams and porting the head. I have read and received various PM's from forum members that have used the same combo, minus the porting, and have acheived approx. 270rwkw with the same response of a std hi-flow. I have already instucted my mechanic/tunner to keep the tune safe and not push the eng, as it still runs the std. bottom end. So i will limit the power and be VERY happy at about 260rwkw. (Note: i believe 270-280rwkw is acheived using 18psi) The best thing about this combo is that it still looks std. Apart from the fuel pressure reg (but still does not stick out like a sore thumb) and the straight swap 550cc inj, the whole package looks factory. Hopefully this hasn't confused you more in your decision, but if others are looking at 250-280rwkw than i beleive this combo will be best choice while still appearing std. Remember "stealth" is your friend

    Problem With Rim

Tubes are unsafe, as previously mentioned. Best option is to go to a Alloy wheel repairer and get it fixed properly. Are you still buying the 34?

    Race Pace

Now i wonder how Paul found all those threads, maybe he used the "SEARCH" button? One thing to claim to use it, another to actually use it. I did a 2min search and came up with the same topics.
  19. Troy is great and tells it how it is. But if he is unavailable; Contact "Vic", at EAS Performance, Tel: (03) 9330 2001. Same area as Troy (Airport West), only 2mins from the Airport. Vic has been (and still is) my mechanic for the last 4-5yrs, he is the only mecheanic i have used and trust to modify and service my 33.
  20. Will you have it on the road for the Oct 2nd BBQ? Would be a great place to show it off and join the club
  21. That's a great lookin' car buddy! Great to see it has all come together nicely.
  22. This will be a great social day! Hopefully my car will be completed and out from my mechanic's w/shop by then.
  23. Mine seems to be working now Thanks
  24. If all goes well, hopefully we will see it on the next cruise
  25. If the eng bay is the same colour as the exterior then i would be more inclined to think that the colour is NOT factory. Look at other Skylines, the eng. bay is usually a dull colour or black.
