  1. Prob. Thu, Fri and Sat night
  2. Can you take a pic of your's and post it up here?
  3. Preach you righteous GTR bull5hit methodology to someone that gives a crap!
  4. I'll be there.
  5. If it is a genuine Nissan item, sounds like a good price. Do not need the boot lid as removal and fitting is pretty simple. You only need a 8mm (maybe 10mm) socket wrench and a bit of muscle to pull the wing off.
  6. Spoken like a true fool. Present facts b4 spinning 5hit. I have used this ecu in my car for the last 2.5yrs without any issues, apart from tune tweeks.
  7. Sounds like a great car but you MUST post up a PRICE or else this thread will be deleted. Good luck with the sale
  8. I also had to spend a few $'s for my pannel beater to adjust, smooth it out and prep it. But for the price i am still very happy.
  9. Buddy, my hit was way smaller than that (happened at a race track) and it is costing me $6-7K to fix up properly. That is an absolute right-off, sorry to say . All the best and hope you're ok! $5K is a bit low, sell it for somewhere in btw 5K and 10K, i reckon.
  10. Geez! The poll ain't helpin' much; 50/50 split!
  11. Haven't done it yet, but as above.
  12. Simple physics. Larger rolling diameter requires more force to start/stop rolling. Force=Power=More Fuel Consumption. And we haven't yet considered the extra unsprung weight of the rims and tyres. Personally I really couldn't give a f*** about fuel consumption, just thought I would advise you. I've never looked back!
  13. IT'S A BOY! This afternoon I received a call from a very happy father, Anthony (Ant95GTR), telling me that Nat gave birth to a healthy 6lb 11oz baby boy! Both Mother and baby are in good health and recovering nicely. Baby's name has not yet been revealed, as not all family members were informed at time of call. Well congratulations Ant & Nat, wish the new family all the happiness and well-being for the future. Long nights and early mornings ahead, but these amounts too little when compared to the joys and love a child brings. Hope to see the family soon! Regards Alan
  14. Aren't they the same as the Series 1? If so, i have one if you want it
  15. I can't believe ppl upgrade turbos b4 ecu, injectors, etc. Replace the factory ecu with a Pfc or Wolf3D and your problems will magically disappear, not to mention the amount extra kw's to be gained.

Do you have full comprehensive? If you know her details, pass them on to your insurance company and they should do the rest. The claim should NOT go against you as they have all required info to pursue the $'s required. She will learn to repect other ppl's property.
  17. Well firstly I would like to give a BIG THANKS to Jack for giving me a lift on an awesome cruise, really appreciate it buddy, it was GREAT Another awesome job by Ash in organising the cruise. And great to see a few new faces, as well as the regulars, keep it up! Hopefully my car will be back on the scene in the next few weeks. Will not make it for the next cruise, but hopefully the one after that.
  18. For every 3db increase, the sound level/volume is doubled.
  19. Just like all the other Bayside Blue GTR's. Nothing says accident history like a colour change!Yellow is a mad colour especially with black rims and accessories. Yellow all the way! How many yellow GTR's do you see, compared to blue? My 2c Alan
  20. I've had 19's for at least 2yrs now, and i found them to be pretty much hassle free. Basically, the rolling diametre is only 1" bigger than the 18" rims, thus the 19" rims have the same amount of rubber as the 18" rim. What i have discovered though, is that you use more fuel with the 19", about 50km less per tank. I would also only use; f:235 and R:255, depending on your rim width.
  21. Nope- No CAMS officals looking over the shoulder of the WRX Club officals
  22. 5hit!; i was thinking of having a BBQ (read booze-up) at my house on Saturday night (11/5/5). My house is too far from Sandown to have the traditional night b4 piss-up . Get them to change venues to Calder Park Rwy !
  23. I'm planning to run about 18psi with an unopened engine and similar mods listed above + ecu.
  24. Pred: Photoshop black spokes with polished/silver dish, just like the white ones.
  25. Rims did not require sandblasting, as they where in great condition, was only sanded and powder-coated. Was also warned by another friend that sandblasting alloy can leave a "pitted" surface.
