    Spiders

I have been looking to buy a house recently and have seen them at, at least, 3 different homes. On one occasion i warned a mother not to let her kids open the shed, at an auction, as there were two sitting near the door.
  5. Hey Ash, Any chance you could answer my question. Thanks mate.
  6. As posted above Ash, looks like it's a huge air filter. I would be surprised if the car couldn't be moved under it's own power, accident looks like one deep ass side swipe with something solid and stationary or maybe a moving truck; i wouldn't think drive train is effected at all.
  7. Sounds good! Will try and pop down; work permitting. Question: My membership card says it expires on the 1/2/9. We have a member cruise on the 8/2/9, do i pay my $40 to a committee member on the 8/2/9 or do i hold off till the 21st? Just asking as my membership officially expires before the "renewal" day and a few others will be in the same predicament.
  8. I take that back ; just noticed all replies were done with 24hrs, sorry
  9. Try fitting an alloy radiator and a Nismo thermo stat. Sounds like i have a similar set-up to yours, but i have cut the reo , and my temps are mainly stable at 64-68deg. The highest i have ever seen it was 86deg at a drift day. PS: Bonnet vents help alot too

    Spiders

I'm surprised that the spider is still intact in that pic. If that crawled on my hand it would be as flat as an A4 sheet, then i'd take the pic . I see red backs on a regular basis, nothing more than usual though
  11. VERY unusual, hence the lack of responses. I have an r33 GTST (rb25det) and have had a fair bit of diff back-lash for the last 4yrs. The car has been making over 280rwkw during that time, currently making 320rwkw, the back-lash hasn't gotten worse and no problems with the gearbox either. I also do a bit of motorsports and motorkahna days. I am aware that the rb25 box has a strong reputation, but a mate is running an rb20 box is his 270rwkw r32 and hasn't had any issues at all. If you are already thinking of the option to get a rb25 box, then do it, as you'll eliminate two possible issues: 1/ the strength of the rb20 box 2/ the repairer. Also your driving style can also effect how long you gearbox last Another issue could be your clutch: I have had two mates blow their gearboxes due to having a solid center clutch. A spring center clutch dampens the shock to the gearbox, during gear changes.
  12. RIP and condolences to all his family and friends.
  13. Well apart from the HKS fitted ones
  14. Aftermarket coil packs are only required if you current ones start failing, otherwise a waste of money. Since when did you start believing everything you read on ebay? I have heard thst they aren't as good as the splitfires.
  15. To get any exemption from the power laws you need to be employed by the w/shop, thus be on their books, thus they need to pay you and also have a trade qualification or doing the trade apprenticeship. The RTA is not going to issue exemptions to volunteers/cleaners
  16. Any pics of the Advan rims you are actually selling, instead of using random pics of different cars with Advans that have different widths, offsets, dish and condition. A close up pic of each rime would be good to see if there are any marks, etc.
  17. Looking at about $150-$200 just for the bar and another $200 at least to prep and paint.
  18. I dare say, at the very least, it damages bearings and then time for a new rebuild.
  19. Topstage I think they are VIC based.
  20. Here's the same car posted earlier; on the same page
  21. Since we are posting graphs When it comes to power and torque: RB30 FTW! Garrett GT3076R-IW 500hp turbo, 19psi.
  22. I didn't build the engine, but i do not recall my mechanic whining about modifying the p/s bracket, he let me know of everything else Below are a few "progress pics" from the build, let me know if any mods have been done to the bracket:
  23. Sounds interesting, may make an appearance
  24. Well most of the early interest has fizzled to nothing, so all the parts are available apart from Sway-bar and CUSCO-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm.
