  1. That's nothing. FIRST time i spun out on a track, out of four different track days, ass end slapped a concrete barrier, $7000 later she will look better than new. I pay $2400 a year on insurance, but can't claim as it happen at a track meet . The fun of motorsport. I will be hitting the track again, once car is on the road .
  2. Engine psi has nothing to do with fuel pump psi! Do yourself a favour and stop trying to sound technical, as we all are aware that you have no experties. It's all about power and the pumps ability to deliver enough fuel to support that power safely.
  3. Let me guess, the engine blew because of fuel starvation
  4. I have a spare spoiler brake light. How does $70 sound, don't know what these usaully sell for? If you are interested call me on: 0427 076490 Alan
  5. Can you show a close up of the sticker on the side of the seat. I heard a w/shop got busted making imo. seats and selling them as Sparco. Thus the seats are not ADR approved.
  6. On a GTR, ditch the 8" rims and get 9" -> 10" rims , then get 275 rubber
  7. Give Dean at UPI a call: 9555 3611.
  8. These rims will probably stick out the gaurds of a gtst, thus making them illegal. Great looking rims. One set for road use another for track sprints.
  9. Due to the lack of interest i am stopping this GB . But Maridian Motorsport have offered to sell these harnesses for $399 (usually $440). So if you want one just call Tobby, at Meridian(Tele: 9553 4200), and mention you are from SAU. If you are not sure how to describe the harness just say "the one Alan was organising for the SAU group buy". All the best Alan
  10. On pump fuel? For how long? Not even a std RB25det would last long on 26psi, if run constantly.
  11. EC=Excellant Condition
  12. The mistake of publishing dates for offical cruises will not be done again (hopefully).
  13. As blind_elk has stated. I for one would turn back, it really doesn't bother me. If the committee leaves, the cruise will then no longer have club support and insurance. So if something does happens people can sue you . If you want to be a tight-arse and spoil the event for everyone else, well i can not stop that, but other actions can also be taken.
  14. If I mis-read your post I apologise, but are you talking about hanging an aftermarket turbo off the side of a standard RB25DE. If this is the case I highly recommend against it, as to achieve that power you will need to lower the compression and change the internals. These turbos are fine on a std RB25DET but not on a std RB25DE.Within the month you will be looking at a total rebuild, if not a new block if it decides to "kick a leg out of bed".
  15. Sorry unable to read Japanese, what are the two lines on the graph? Is the red line Kw and green line N*m?
  16. READ the post title "RB25 wnt 250rwkw WICH TURBO??" :slap:
  17. Great to see a properly set-up car The only mismatch turbo i know of is the 2540, I personaly would not use this turbo at all. I would still use the GT-RS or the 2835. What ecu are you running?
  18. Yes, but i suspect ECR 33 is not a paid member.
  19. Agree, HKS GT-RS
  20. For drift you only need a 2530, 2535 or a GTRS. These turbos will give you between 220 and 260 rwkw, more than enough for drift, with a whole bag of torque and response. Have you done all the other more important mods first? - Braces - Suspension - Control arms - Diff These are far more important than a turbo upgrade, as the standard RB25, with aftermarket ecu and boost, will have plenty of power on tap.
  21. SORRY TO SAY As Ash has stated, we are now an official club and the members of the committee do not wish to be sued should something unfortunately happen. If non-members show up, and wish not to pay the membership fee ($70 for the first year and $50p/a then on) they will be asked to leave. If they refuse to leave, the committee will announce the people responsible for CANCELING the cruise. This has already been discussed and will be done. I for one can not afford to be sued for other people’s mistakes and now members (and the club) have insurance to cover us for such an occurrence. SO, please by all means come to the meeting point, but have your membership money ready . Ash also stated that steps are in process to get great discounts from various retailers. Over time this will easily offset the price of membership. Alan
  22. Went to this last year and it was great. This is where i found my suppliers for my coil-overs, ADR approved braided lines and even the DBA rotors. If i have time i will be going there again this year.
  23. Yeah, would really like to see pics of my car on the track.
  24. I'll probably come to spectate, for the weekend .
