I'M STILL HERE The first post has been updated, as people have e-mailed me. I was waiting till we got 15 people for each buy, but now i will give it till the end of next week, Is that OK? After that i will post up details to transfer funds. I am not going to use my own money to complete the buy, so all interested parties will need to deposit the full amount (including P&H) into the account. As stated earlier, i have already purchased and fitted my lines at the higher prices and have nothing to gain in this group buy, just helpping my fellow forum members . Go to the whitegoods auctions at Jupps (or is it fowls :confused: ) Do a local search on the topic. I've heard you can pick up some really cheap new goods from these auctions.

So we are not waiting for anyone anymore and Paul can put the order through? If so it's useless now to get my money back as we are no longer WAITING for the order to be put through. All i am saying is that it is not fair to make everyone wait for one person to get his funds together. If he didn't have the money (due to unforseen circumstances), he should have dropped out of the group buy.

Replace it with a correct rating fuse. Not only do you risk damage to the parts it supplies (ie: a small fault will lead to a big fault because the supply of power has not been cut), but also damage to wires and worse case may lead to a fire.

The new systems has it's appeal, but the old system was better in terms of feedback and Q&A. Also i can-not see the new system working for "group buys". Appreciating your efforts to improve SAU! Alan

After the fire who rewired the car? If you paid an auto elec, take it back as it sounds like something is VERY wrong with the wiring.

Ahhhhhh!, I just went on call this weekend so that i could go PI next weekend, now no one is going to go . I don't mind paying the extra $, just waiting for the wether forcast. Come on people, i doen't want to go by myself.

I have not seen this problem in anyone elses car, but other people have posted, in this thread, that they have similar sounds, be it not as load. To describe how loud my noise is; I have a bocsh 044 external fuel pump mounted in my boot, near the battery. These pumps are bloody loud, especially with the windows closed, on idle. The sound was just as loud, and that's with the windows closed! Only happened twice or three times. I've had the Excedy twin plate for approx 11 months and the noise only started about a month ago. The clutch is definately not worn. If the take-up point is too low to the floor, the clutch MAY not be disengaging properly.
