    transcoolers in VIC?

Ni, have you looked at the group buy of Oil Coolers that Adam and Chris are doing, maybe contact Meridian Motorsport and see if they sell the kit. I assume a trans kit may be cheaper due to the physical size, etc. I went to their workshop yesterday and was very impressed with their service and products. They realy know their stuff, and have shown interest in supporting motorsport clubs. Andrew also bought his oil cooler from there. Mention that you are from SAU.
  2. OK- Unfortunately, Bimbo Deluxe is not willing to allow a "guest list" to allow our friends fast access. So Shivam and i have moved location to the Irish Pub (Finigans) at the rear of Highpoint S/C. The serve great Kilkenny's . Hope to still see ya all there!
  3. I have spoken to Meridian Motorsport (same suppliers as the "Group Buy: oil cooler kits") about purchasing a set of RE 55's, for road/track use. Markis has shown particular interest in supporting SAU and has offered a 10% discount. This particular pattern is avaliable in 4 different componds, to suit your requirements. So far the prices i have are listed below, depending on the number of people interested, the prices MAY go lower. 1/ 235 x 45 x 17: Meridian Motorsport price $351 2/ 255 x 40 x 17: Meridian Motorsport price $360 3/ 265 x 35 x 18: Meridian Motorsport price $520 I have contacted Trackside and the best prices he provided were; 1/ $390 2/ $400 Meridian Motorsport is also happy to ship interstate for the required p&h fee. NOTE: If anyone is able to get better prices, from a reliable business, please feel free to post up prices and contact details.
  4. Yesterday i actually drove to Meridian Motorsport to test fit the oil cooler. Unfortunately for my car i can not locate the cooler in the optimum possition (driver's side, behind the front bar, on the bottom corner). This is due to the piping of my front mount ic. The next best location was between the ic and radiator. In this position, half cooler is exposed to free flowing air from the grill, the other half is behind the cooler. I beleive that this position is still very effective, thus i am more than happy to purchase the cooler. I have taken a few pictures if your intercooler piping is the same as mine you will also have to mount the cooler in the same position. The cost of the cooler for my car (and cars like mine) may increase slightly due to the extra 45degree bend connections. Pictures are shown below.
  5. I have the "whiteline handling pack" with "Hot bits coil-overs" and am very happy with the combination. Will be taking it to Centreline to get the car 'balanced'. I will also ask them to place approx 100kg of weights, on the drivers side to similate my body weight (Benifits of working at a scale company).
  6. What a bloody great effort!! Was sadened to hear about your misfortune, but shit happens. Congratulations, on the promising results.
  7. This will not be delayed ! Not everyone has their LS2 CAMS licence, and those that do will be missing out on a great night at bimbo delux. PS: Have fun at P.I. I will be too drunk to think about it.
  8. Any progress with the 700cc, low impedance, side feed injectors? .
  9. SAU NICK...NAME............CAR..........COOLER REQUIRED...........PRICE...PAID ....Al...........Alan C.........R33 Gtst...No Remote Filter, Pushlock...$440......No (Waiting on xfixiate response)
  10. OK, my supplier is more expensive so i will be in this group buy . xfixiate: You have completely confused me  Are you saying that UAS prices are cheaper. i.e: $320 for the complete kit without remote filter option. Is the kit as good as this one.
  11. As Shivam's and my birthdays are only one week apart we decided to celebrate it together. So i would like to openly invite all SAU friends to a great night with looooooooooots of drinking and laughs. DATE: 21/08/04 (SAT.) TIME: 9pm till late VENUE: Finigans (Iresh Pub) Highpoint Shopping Centre :headspin: We hope to see ya all there, for what promises to be a GREAT night! Shivam(deorbit) & Alan (Al)

    Canaried!!

If that's true, maybe i should sell my line. On the other hand; having a big turbo hanging off the side of your RB does not make you a true import driver, just like owning a GTR does not mean you can "drive" a GTR. Lets see who's worthy on the track, you dyno queen!
  13. When does the gruop buy close, as i am still waiting for a response from another supplier? May pay to wait a couple of weeks, to see what price they offer.
  14. Enrico: Is your contact/supplier able to supply 700cc (or greater) LOW impedance, side mounted injectors? Just that i am running a wolf 3d and low impedance injectors pulse quicker than high impedance, when idling. The wolf can easily controll both, i just prefer the advantages of the low impedance.
  15. Trust33: These injectors are brand new, and disigned to fit in the std RB25det fuel rail ie: High impedance, side mounted. NOTE: I do not believe that the std ecu (alone) can handle these injectors. You may need a "piggyback" unit or an aftermarket engine management.
  16. How much are the clips and do they fit the std fuel rail/plugs? Sounds pretty good though.

    Parts Required

I have already enquired about the rear strut brace at JMS, it has been there a while so i was unsure wether the price was fair or too high. UAS, well let's just say............... Once burnt, twice shy Have been looking on the net at all popular suppliers, but people on this forum may have contacts that could supply the parts at a cheaper price, best to explore all avenues EnricoPalazzo: I will definately keep a look out Thanks for you efforts guys! Keep them coming

    Parts Required

I am now comencing my next series of upgrades and would like to find the cheapest places i can source these parts from. If you can help please post below . 1/ Bosch 044 external fuel pump 2/ Surge tank to fit in space near battery 3/ Rear strut brace 4/ Perfomance Brake Pads - Would like something that is good on the track, but will not distroy my DBA 4000 slotted rotors. 5/ Oil cooler kit, with remote oil filter mounting 6/ 550cc (or slightly bigger) injectors to fit in std fuel rail. I own a '94 R33 GTS-T Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Alan
  19. Yeh no prob, just tell me the name and if i like it i may get it for myself
  20. This is why you should always do a lot of research b4 undergoing such a large scale modification. The fact the the shop told you 3 weeks is alot of bullshit. To complete such a list of modifications properly and accurately does take time, as they still need to work on other customers to keep the funds coming in. I would like to know which shop is reponsible, please PM me the details. Who have you taken the car too now?
  21. Thanks Steve, had a great day and will be getting in touch to fine tune my wolf ecu. Has you tuner got all the wolf programming software on his laptop and the data cable?
  22. What the hell is this about? More info please.
  23. Those were great time at shep., hopefully we could all catch up soon! My car is pretty much the same, found some cheap 2nd hand rims and sourcing a set of semi-comps for track work/fun.
  24. Sorry i missed it guys. On the bright side i got absolutely wasted at my mates b'day party
  25. Will try to come down, for $35 and a dyno sheet i may decide to enter .
