    Deca Fun Day!!

Shane rest asured, Northern Street Cruizers is not an amature club and the event is covered by public liabilty insurance. We are fully aware of the armaco fixtures and are planning to put more than one chicane (looking at about 3) to control the speed, and a time penalty for anyone that hits the witches hats. At the end of the day it is up to the driver to be sensable and drive within their limits. This is nowhere near as damaging/dangerous as driving through the Great Ocean Road. On the GOR you have a cliff face on one side and the armaco on the other, not to mention the dampness, dirt, rocks, etc., on the road, due to it's geographical location. DECA is a controlled environment which is going to be made more controlled once we lay out the track. The idea is to have fun and drive home at the end of the day. The management at DECA have been fully briefed on our activites and the days events. Alan

  6. Were those extra hole drilled after the rim was manufactured? ie: to make these rims fit on a skyline when they were designed for another car, or to convert a 4 stud rim to 5 stud.
  7. Stone chips are battle scares of a well driven car, wear them with pride! If ya want to keep stones out of your cooler put a wire mesh in front of it.

YES! But know you are throwing your power to weight concerns out the wind . Time to get that T! (i know it's coming from Japan )
  9. It was a little big, but we need to make that point clear to everyone else. I am sorry, but i do not consider asking $200 for artwork as helping. She is trying to do business with a club that has no funds, and as you stated previously the money could go elsewhere, such a the club banner, membership cards, t-shirts, etc. This was not directed at her, NOTE: "TO EVERYONE"
  10. ted: I am hoping you can persuade you friend to donate the art-work to SAU as a favour to you. We may not even end up using the design, but on the other hand we may want to use part of it. Shan: I suggest we remove the art-work as to not influence any new designs, till such time when it is donated (if ever).
  11. Great designs ted especially the first 2, those lights with the SAU logo (as previously posted) would look nutz. Was very disappointed to here that your friend is trying to SELL these ideas, to a non-profit club, but i guess that's business. TO EVERYONE: We are looking for FREE ideas, as to get the club underway. So from here on; Do not post or send your ideas/designs, unless you are willing to freely offer your art-work to the club. It takes a little effort to design a good logo, but just consider what the club has to offer; cruises, technical help, socialisation, a place to buy and sell parts, and the list goes on. A small contribution in time, to design a logo, is just a drop in the ocean to the contribution commity members freely give to organise and run the club and it's events!
  12. My bad! You just need to be a bit more clearer next time, then again Dale understood what you where talkin' about

Am................NO.This is not a Drift practice day and for 50 bux what do you expect. Read the opening post, all events are catered around handling, in the wet and dry. Don't get me wrong, people are more than welcome to have fun and hang the arse end out at every corner. The the idea of the day is to just legally play around and take your car to your controlled (and uncontrolled, on the skid pan) limits, it is NOT a training day. Power is not an issue as the huge skid pan will be wet in some areas and the hand-brake is a lovely thing to us on an vast open area.
  14. Just a every quick edit of a previous image, to give you an idea/suggestion for the front of the membership card.

Shan at the last DECA day, a few guys entered the stock (read: unrestored) daily cars. We are talkin' 1970's falcons, 1980's commodores and gemini's, and the guys had a ball. Now if you can't out preform these bardgies then time for some lessons , and what better place to practice?

That sounds GREAT . You just can't help yourself, can you? :( Just a question, is this close (within walking/stumbling distance) to the night life? Because there are a few Hotels within one or two blocks from pubs and clubs.

Andrew- YES, but there is two ways to do it. $50p/car: 2 drivers can be nominated to drive the car, but the drivers share the runs per course. So basically you each has one go per circuit and someone may have 2 (if time permits 3 runs). Both drivers must sign and date the one entry form. $50p/person: Basically the car is entered twice and each driver gets 2 or 3 goes per circuit, as stated on the above post. Two entry forms must be submitted, just use the same car details. Note: For insurance purposes both drivers have to have a valid driving licence.
  19. Shan great work. i really like the gtr style sau with the larger victoria font (sorry Ni, your tastes suck ) The logo with the smaller Victoria looks too blocky. Even the business card sized membership cards would look great: Front: Black card with only the "SAU VICTORIA" Rear: Have member details, using same colours

PLEASE PM ME YOUR E-mail ADDRESS
  21. WTF!, Are you still hung over or what? Sorry buddy, but such things are unavoidable, the reason everyone seperated was because they didn't want to be stop unless they where asked to by the police officers. I believe you and i where about to leave the pulled over group to avoid our details being taken. Find me a better organized cruise and then advise how to make our next one better.

Thanks for the free *bump* Not sure how to do that, maybe the "event calander" is reserved for offical cruises.
  23. That was one of the all time best cruises!! A BIG thumbs up to Ash, Andrew and James. The route was exceptional and the maps very detailed. If only i could follow it and look where i am going, that way i would not cause 13 cars to double back . As Shivam stated, we continued the day with alot of drinks at the pub and didn't get home till 4:30am. Thus far i have not even looked at the pics on my digi!
  24. Can you please supply full specs for this turbo
