Don't twist the topic. You can tune the engine for 50psi, but as long as you limit the waste gate to only provide 12psi of boost the turbo will be safe.

Your right! R32 are the VH model, you know, for the people that can't afford the VL turbo :wassup:

Tune has no effect on turbo life, unless something from a blown engine goes flying into the exhaust housing. Engine is another story.

At 18psi you will most probably distroy the turbo's ceramic exhaust wheel. I have heard of someone running 18psi through the stock turbo, but this was done when the owner had the money to buy a new one. To everyones astonishment this particular turbo did not fall apart for a while (12 months), but this was just one of those freaks. 13psi is the highest "safe" limit, but even at this level some turbines will seperate from the shaft.

Heard about the blits on Friday morning, on NOVA. Warned my mate, who had just fitted a full spoiler kit to his RX7 series 6. But you think the fool listened, NOPE . James, Ash and Andrew hope you planned a couple of rest stops along the way, as shivam and myself went for a test run yesterday and he experienced major brake fade just after the down hill sections. Jumped out of the car to see the front calipers SMOKING . The area was GREAT and had alot of fun. Should be a top day!

My bar was done in Airport West, just off Slater Pde. They used the off cuts to seal the gaps then primed the bar ready for repainting. But speak to Troy (ylwgtr2) as he is pretty damn good when it comes to cars.

A faulty oxygen sensor could also make your fuel economy go up the shit. But definitaly get the vapour out of fuel cap checked out by a qualified mechanic. Put your ecu in diagnostic mode and see if it picks up anything. Do a search to fing out how this is done, sorry never did it myself.

Now that the Auto Salon has come and gone, the commity members and a few others are once again gathering our efforts into making the club happen. We only have some minor details to settle. There is a General Meeting happening on Tuesday night, to dicuss the club's progress, amounst other things, you can find the thread in the Victorian section. Just hold off a little longer, as things are now really moving forward.

Shivam and myself went to enter yesterday, but once we heard the $100 car entry fee i laughed and we did a u-turn out of there. Went to the pub for 1/2 the day .

No option suits my system . My head unit is a factory optioned Alpine unit with the word "N'fit" (Nissan Fitment?) written on the head unit, 11 band graphic equalizer, remote, speakers and speaker grills. As the head unit and digital equalizer are still working properly i have left these alone. But i replaced the 10yr old speakers with Hertz compition speakers, consisting of 2-way co-axials in the doors and 6" mid-bass woofers in the parcel shelf. Have also installed a four channel amp to power these speakers, as the factory unit did not have enough power output. Installed a gel-cell Optima battery, but this was done for other reasons not just audio. I found the Hetz mid-bass woofers to be great, giving that thumping sound/feeling without the added weight of a sub and box.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but high temp paint means the paint will not peel/flake off at high temps. It does not provide any insulating properties.
