  2. Ash, i am not sure. I am still going thou.
  3. I wanted it as soon as i saw it . Was talking to Shivam (Deorbit) about it this morning. I even stated that if i had the money avaliable i would sell my 33 and buy this. But the funds must be paid immediately, so i miss out. Great pick up! I hope it is as good as it looks. GOOD LUCK!

    Easternats This Weekend

Going to Calder Park this weekend.
  5. Matt would like to catch up and talk about the 3ltr conversion. If i knew what it had i would have spoken to ya at the auto salon. A very seriously planning this type of upgrade, for early next year.
  6. The title from Calder Park is "DRAG COMBAT". This is a 3 day event, starting on Friday and finishing on Sunday. I beleive there is prize money for 1st and 2nd placings in the following events: - 1/4 mile. - Go-to-Whao - Motocana Entrants will also be allowed access to the flat track and the Thunderdome. Personally i perfer this more than the EasterNats, as this event is more foccased on entrant participation, rather than spectating. When you go to the SummerNats, in Canberra, (year after year) the Easter and Spring Nats are pretty pale in comparison. There is no grab-a-flag, i don't know what you've been smoking Shivam
  7. Needless to say i'm in!

    Deca Fun Day!!

Bookings have started to build momentum , so if you are interested get in early to avoid disappointment. Only 2 months, till FUN DAY!
  9. Will do my best to be there
  10. The only thing i did not like about that particular GTST was the side-skirts. They appeared to be designed for a wide-body kit as they went half way up the wheel-arch and stuck out about 20mm. If the kit was complete or the side-skirts were different, it would have been awesome. Anyone read the artical in the free Auto salon mag., about what is rice? To me this was a very clean car with alot of money spent on it. But it's disappointing to know that it will not be driven, which defeats the purpose of having a nice car.

    MAS 04' Overview

Sounds good! Start a thread stating; date, time, place, etc.
  12. A missing 1 x 4 point power board. Had the following details on the back; Al Skylines Aust. 0427 076490 So if anyone comes across this can you please use the details and give me a call . PS: JAMES you stole my thread title Was about to start a thread for missing items and ANYONE THAT IS OUT OF POCKET WHILE CONTRIBUTING TO THE SAU STAND. I strongly feel that one person (or a couple) should not carry the financial burden for helping the entrants at SAU. So if anyone is out of pocket please post you costs, so we can tally these up and devide the burden amounst all entrants (and donators ). These include: - Missing TV remote (if this is not found, James will be held reponsible, by the rental company, to replace it) - Missing SAU T-shirts (Hopefully we have a bunch of honest SAU members) - Alcohol (I have been fully reinburst, but Ash and others may be out of pocket) - Anything else that contributed to a great SAU stand.
  13. Will the blu-tac be on the paint-work or on the glass. Will not advise putting blu-tac on paint-work as it may mark the paint. 1 ticket per car is a little tight, especially when promoting a night club event. Who goes to the clubs by themselves? Would be interested if 2 or more tickets per car are offered, PM me if this offer changes. Just think, you may be offering free entry for 2 people, for helping promote the event, but these people will be spending big at the bar .

    MAS 04' Overview

Had a great time! The event as a whole was pretty average, but the SAU/Fangartist stand made it worth while .
  15. PS: I was not racing you, as you cut me off (while doing your u-turn). So i was up your ass the whole time while you were screaming off .
  16. Here we go................ . Well i stopped at 80, did not want to speed. Your car was revving pretty hard/loud (and yes i know how your car sounds on normal cruising). When i pulled up beside ya at the lights all you could say was, and i quote; "Shut-up. it's not that funny!". Couldn't help but laugh Once you do your transplant, things will be totally different .
  17. Hey Paul, See me at the Auto Salon, my car and myself will be there and i could show ya the best way to do it, GIZMO73 is spot on. I neatly made the hole bigger to fit a 4" drain pipe, that sits just below the pod (in a sealed box). Then used a 4" 90deg bend to feed from the gap in the front bar.
  18. Greg, I too have the TOMIE HICAS lock kit, but it wasn't as easy as that to install. - Basically we had to put the car on the hoist. - Remove the rubber covers on the Hicas. - Unscrew one of the controll arms from the HICAS and attach one of the TOMIE shims in position (leave controll arm unscrewed). - Get the car in HICAS diagnostic mode (From the moment you turn the ignition you have 10sec to: turn the steering wheel 20deg. left and right, 5 times; then press the brake 5 times.) A REAL PRICK, especially when you are running a aftermarket ECU and the car takes that extra second to start up. - Once in diagnostic mode the HICAS light on the dash flashes. - Rev the engine to 2k rpm and turn the steering wheel 180deg in the direction of unscrewed controll arm. This will push out the attached controll arm. - Attach the second shim, in it's designated position, on the second controll arm. - Turn the steering wheel back to the neutral position. This will cause the attached controll arm to be pulled into the HICAS, locking the shim into place. - Reattach the other unscrewed controll arm, also locking the shim in position as you screw it into the HICAS. - Place the rubber boots back in their original position. - Turn off car, disconnect plug at the rear of the HICAS mechanism and lower hoist. - Disconnect battery. - Install little black box as instructed. - Reconnect Battery. - Installation complete (Sounds harder than it is, just getting into diagnostic mode is a little tricky)
  19. He has already been OWNED by my HIACE work van, with about 300kg in dead weight at the back (tools, parts, weights, etc) . It was the funniest thing i have ever seen/done, i lost all respect for R32 n/a's :devfu: .
  20. Shit just what i am looking for, but after my latest mods funds are a little low . Do they clear the front calipers/brakes of a R33, without using spacers? Will keep in mind, when i get my financial situation back on track
  21. Just a precaution, If you replace the HKS springs with a other springs make sure they have similar spring rates because if they are too soft you will end up damaging the shock. I'm sure that your mechanic has considered this when installing the new springs.
  22. It's great to have company
  23. I'm "on-call" for work that weekend , haven't done a long weekend for ages so it's my turn! Am trying to give it away, but it is not looking good. Hoping to come Alan
  24. Ahhh! I have actually been thinking about doin that. My mate did one on his XA coupe and it make the engine bay look a lot cleaner. One day i will get off me ass and do it .
  25. Not really fussed, i just like to cruise .
