    Which fuel do you use??

Due to availability i mainly fill up using Mobile Synergy 8000 (my vote), but i always prefer BP Ultimate whenever i have a chance.
  4. The owner of a grill-less skyline should be shot for degrading such a fine peice of Japanese engineering. :devfu:
  5. Can someone post a pic, or a direct link to a pic, of what we are talkin about . I would much prefer to by the materals for $12 and do it myself . You can always use rubber lining to make the edges look smooth and neat .

    Which is better?

Mine is not defectable, as it is in a custom sealed box and has a 4" drain pipe feeding cool air from the front bar . But you are right in saying that there is no perfomance inhancement on a lightly modified engine. I just love the sound, as it is a way to get the bov sound without fitting an illegal bov .
  7. Will be there, with my car Just got it back and it feels great! Still need to get use to the twin plate .

    Which is better?

Both pretty much do the same thing. No real differance or advantage. I have installed a K&N cone type filter that is also filtered at the end (is not capped), and i personally love it. It has a loud "sucking" noise when spooling and i can hear my factory plumb-back bov through it. People have in the past asked me what type of bov i am using and are surprised when i lift up the hood to prove that it is the factory plumb-back.
  11. There is a right and wrong place/time to do things. At a club organized meet in the heart of the city is definately the stupidest and wrong place/time.
  12. Andrew, i too have one should you need it. I live in the western suburbs should you want to pick it up. Rent if free, but the deposit is a good idea and will be fully refunded once the box is delivered back. Alan 0427 076490
  13. Did not see any police in or around the carpark. Was not aware of anyone being defected. Unfortunately we had the usual non-SAU hero's that had to prove to themselves how shit there cars are by trying to do burn-outs as they exited the location. I hope these were the people that got defected as they are the people that attract all the unwanted attention .

    HPI Drift nationals!!!

Was a great, made even better when i got in for free, thanks to my mate's Calder Offical pass . His car was the XA coupe parked inside near the Calder Park office. Was great to meet all the usual people and to see all the blue T-shirts. Can't wait till the next Drift Practice day .
  15. Mine wher also recently done on a hoist. SOOO recent that i have not driven the car yet .
  16. Only because you can't drive for shit
  17. I believe so. Forms must be filled and money given to Ash by the end of the meeting. SGSKY: Date and Time of post are diplayed on the left side of the post, right above the "user name".
  18. All i'm saying is pay the fines first, as the car can wait till you save up again. If ya avoid paying the fines, things are just going to go from bad to worse.
  19. WHY has everyone decided to be a SMARTA55 all of a sudden. This guy is probably new to the whole SAU forum and has not familiarised themselves with the forum format. Are we always going to critasize (sp?) and shoot down all newbies?! It was funny, but a little harsh, when James done it, but for a second person to jump on the band wagon is just stupid. Help support the new guys! RANT OVER! SGSKY: The meeting is for the up and coming Melbourne Auto Salon (MAS), and involves the entrants and helpers. Even though we would appreciate your help, it may be a little late to get involved. So hope to see ya at the show, or even at the many events happening b4 then (just check the Victorian Events section). C Ya Alan
  20. 5hit! i should have my car, but the wheel alignment is booked for Saturday morning . Can't drive nowhere without getting everything lined up. Will try to hitch a ride with someone .
  21. May be a little late to this one , due to work commitments. Will still try to make it.
  22. Clutch is sweet ! But requires some getting use to. Unfortunately had MAJOR probblems with the HOT BITS suspension, they are being sent back to get fixed up. The problem was not the quality of the product but the assembly, so i am sending them back with my std shocker tops, for them to get their 5hit together and assemble them for me.
  23. If you got to pay fines and the car is off the road for a year, then wait till later on this year or early next year to make repairs. No point spending money on maintanance only to sit there.
  24. When you buy an exedy twin plate clutch it comes with the lighter flywheel.
  25. I have just installed a twin plate exedy clutch with a lightweight flywheel. Only drove it in and out off my mechanics driveway, but the differance in reponsiveness is very noticable. In neutral the revs up ALOT quicker, and according to my mechanic the car responds alot faster.
