    Rip Ns2500?

Glad to hear that you're ok buddy, but sorry to hear about the car. Good luck
  3. Sounds great! Will want to do my brakes and handling b4 coming along . Also i will need to buy a cheap set of light 17" rims and good tyres, as my 19's are too heavy and would reduce the handling in more ways than one. I am keen to do this type of racing as i prefer it to drags. How much is it to enter? (you mentioned "set-up" costs " approx. $310, but did not mention any fees to Phillip Island race track). If ya want a "cheer squad / pit crew" i will be interested in coming down
  4. If i am not working, i'm there. Just 5 min drive from my house.
  5. *cough* i did PM you , sorry had family arrangements. *cough*

Young people 2day are just too impatient .

Tell your mate not to rush. I pass there every day and see the SAME cars there for months. So take your time, do the checks and hammer them down on the price, as they can be a little too pricey.
  9. 5hit, this sucks!! Wish you the best of luck

    Hard Kandy!!

F4 all the way, but last week i heard that the DJ changed the style abit and was 5hit. Hope they change back. RnB, etc.
  11. This is sounding great ppl! esp. the camping part . May not be able to make it on Sunday (for drinks at BOR's) as i have a BBQ that night , so KEEP me posted.

  13. Put it on a proven dyno then talk about power! HKS turbo doesn't mean much without all the support systems! I would personally go slotted with 'endless' pads.
  14. Sad to hear about your family's great loss . My heart felt sympathies to you and your family.

    new rims

Yea, Lenso Muse. Yes, they are heavy and you can feel the differance in performance, but that is also partly due to the larger rolling diamiter. A year and a half ago i paid $3600 for the rims and Hankook silica tyres (F:245/35/19, R:275/30/19). These tyres are pretty damn good! Even Kevin, from driver dynamics (Driving instructor at the skid pan days), could not beleive the grip these tyres had on a wet and oiled surface. He was stuggling to do a half lap drift on the skid pan. The price also included ballance and a full alignment.

    new rims

LOVE the rims buddy! I have too as i have had 'em on my car for the past year and a half . Good choice, they realy suit the 32, 33 and 34 model skylines. Here is mine: ( In 19's )
  17. Also needed for the 400R.Personally i prefer the bar in the pic. But if ya are doing the front bar don't forget the sides and rear, otherwise it looks 5hit! (That's goes for any aftermarket kit). Oh, and do the rims first, hate seeing a kitted car with stockies. Just remember a std car looks nice with just rims, but a kitted car looks crap with stockies. My 2c worth
  18. The Nats was crazy! Unfortunately i didn't get to meet anyone from this forum , but did see a few Skylines . I did ask about 4 people wether they were from the forum, all said no , felt awkward (sp?) asking "every single" skyline driver if they were from SAU. Here is a pick of my mates car, i was always the front seat passenger, just in case you recognize the car.
  19. Glad to hear you're alright buddy!!! Hope you continue with your speedy recovery. My mate's work colligue witnessed the unfortunate accident (was apparently driving behind you at the time). He asked my mate wether he knew the car (via the number plates), as i had been interested in buying the car, my mate knew of it and told me the next day. Man, was i glad to hear that you got out of it "safely" and are able to make a full recovery.
  20. As CrazO stated, Steve-SST will be the best person to ask. As for "auxillary outputs"; 1/ One is being used for my shift light. Just using a Jaycar 5" pencil thin neon, which is mounted just below the tacho. 2/ A second output is being used to control the factory boost valve. It is set to 13psi and is very stable.
  21. Will try to make it to either place. Hope you are joking about the name tags.
  22. Ahh, my clutch is slipping and have not had a chance to fix it. Would come if someone will be kind enough to give me a lift . Any offers, just PM me ?
  23. After 25 laps of Calder my clutch is slipping , NOT HAPPY! Will be going up with my mate in his XA coupe. I too had no problems last year when i entered my 'line. But my mate did get a db test done on his exhaust.
  24. How does the OS Giken feel, drive wise? Does it have the same feel as a HKS twin plate?
