  1. Fark man sorry to hear, more dough down the drain. Same thing happened to me old ladies car a few years back.
  2. Just asked because i am looking for a Mechanical 2-way LSD diff, myself.
  3. Did you get it with the car, or have you recently bought it?
  4. In short, YES.Here are a couple more pics. To mount the plate i just used a cheap pair of small "L" brackets from Bunnings. And before you say anything, i know my car is in desperate need of a WASH!
  5. Thanks all, really appreciate the kind words . The plastic welder did a great job, and the finish is seemless (can't tell where the joins are). Dimensions for my fmic are unknown to me , as the ic is custom made from a truck core (and yes it works well ). My mechanic fitted the biggest core, that still allowed the supports for the intrusion bars to remain. The centre of the bar has been cut out, but everything else has been left in tact and is very sturdy. Some people get the biggest fmic they could get their hands on, and in the process remove all supports and structual regitaty, bad mistake.
  6. Do it once, and do it properly. Many people just cut out the bar and leave the cut plastic and metal exposed, attracting unwanted attention. Cut the middle peice out, take the bar and off cuts to a plastic welder and seal off the cuts (refer to attachments). Mine looks as if it came out of the factory like that. Has the added expense, but looks 1000% better and neater.

    Rims Comparison :)

I prefer the style of your new 17's, they look pretty damn good. Have you considered powder coating these rims white? Just think white looks better on a grey car. Either way, a nice improvement.
  8. Have a good one, and see ya all in 2004!

    My fly was undone

    And you know this, how?
  10. 5hit like that just pisses me off! If the guy couldn't park how the f**k do they get their license. Dan if you were to flip the cooler around, you wouldn't be able to see the dent anyway, provided the endtanks are identical.
  11. Great day! Good to meet a few new people. Next time i will remember the labels
  12. You forgot me All pics of you car have now been DELETED! NAH, just kidding! Still love the sleek look of your ride. Have a good one and see ya in 2004.

    first timer

  14. Sorry my bad, what i should of said was that it does not visually display knock, like the power fc does.
  15. I did not see one defected car... Must have been only the locals getting done . I'm not sure if you can be defected from another state?
  16. Wolf 3D v4.5#
  17. I missed the 3rd run , oh well had to be at me dad's b'day party.

    Just a quick...

They have not cut the key properly, take it back and tell them to redo it! If the master key opens all, so should the copy.
  19. Each car is different, thus needs to be tuned individually. This idle problem also sounds like the tune needs some more fine adjustment. MAP sensors are a little bit harder to get right. At the start mine also had idle problems, but now it has been all ironed out .

    what u guys think??

You would have to get past me first Ni !
  21. May not be taking the car know , still would be interested for a meet-up.
  22. This person may be a good mechanic, but if you just ordered the unit and asked someone who hasn't been trained on the unit and doesn't know it's full features, to tune it, you are asking for trouble. Pinging sounds like a tunning problem not a unit problem. I would sooner consider the Power FC b4 the Fcon V simply because there are more people who know how to tune them. But i would still buy the wolf b4 either of these, due to the security feature and a few others. The only thing the wolf lacks is a knock sensor, but if it is properly tunned it is not required. I personally am still behind the Wolf, as i have had no problems that weren't related to tunning. At the start i also had some delemas, but with further tunning these have been eliminated. Nizmokid if you didn't screw me over earlier this year i would have put my map/tune on a disk and send it to you, to use as a base tune, then get your mechanic to trim the "edges" to suit your car. You never know when something will come back and bite you on the A$$!
  23. 10.47sec = The car's best time which was done a while ago.
  24. I thought he could only manage a mid 12 sec pass. That was with badly slipping clutch, no NOS and maybe a fowled plug . He only had 2 passes.
  25. I second that! Unit is only as good as the tunner, and if the tunner does not know how to use the Wolf properly, then it's just asking for trouble.
