  2. Ula, i was about to call ya too , but thought you probably missed it for a reason. About 6 cars turned up, pretty poor really . Looks like the westside is too lazy to get off their arses !
  3. I think it would be a good idea to pospone it for a couple of weeks, due to exams, etc. Either way i will try to make it, any day, any time.

Sorry Jet, i didn't realise how easily my comments could be mis-interpruted (sp?). I said i will NOT make a stupid offer like $21k for such a well moded car. At the same time i will not pay $40k+ for a R33 gtst, no matter what the mods. I will also not make any offer over the net, some things are best done in person and once things have been checked out properly. Yes that car was race use only and would cost more to import as street use. But i personally disagree with you about the level of modification, as things such as injectors, ecu, etc. go without saying. If you feel as though i have been bagging the car, i haven't. In fact in a few posts i have acknowledge how good the car is. The only thing i have questioned was the post where you started talking about the $40k price tag. I do acknowledge that to get my car to the level of modification as yours would cost me much more, that is the sole reason why i am considering this option. But i am not too fussed either as i will be extremely happy to make my car produce 250-270rwkw, and all i need to acheive this is the turbo and fuel system. So i wish you every bit of luck with the car and hope that i have not lost a friend, as my intension was not to bag/hack you. Alan
  5. I am moving house that weekend . Hopefully we do most the work on Sat. and i will be able to come down. PS: Any voluntiers to help out will be greatly appreciated. Come on, help ya fellow Skyliner to attend the meeting Hoping to be there Alan

Thats due to the level of modification, i am just demonstrating what the original purchaser may have paid for such a car. You also have to consider the costs in compliancing (old scheme), etc. Please do not mis-read my intentions Jet. It is a great car, and i am seriously considering buying it. But for a realistical agreed price (once it has been checked and cleared). If the car has not been sold by mid Nov. i will get in touch with you. At the moment i am just too busy. What type of handling mods goes the car have? ie: brakes, suspension, etc.
  7. Didn't know that it was a weekly meet PS: the offical club meeting should not be help as often, maybe once a month. At the meetings we can also organise regular cruises, etc. (the the club meeting help once a month. Only my opinion) Anytime is good, as long as i could make it
  8. Don't do either. Hold off till you find the right GTR for you. But don't blow your money on a GTS, as you would always want the GTR. By the same token. If you hold off for one year you double ya money. Hold off another year you triple your money, another year.................................. Basically once you find the right car JUST buy it and ENJOY it! my 2c
  9. Date: Friday 24/10/03 Time: 9pm Place: Bunnings, Taylors Lakes. These are just some figures i plucked out of my aammmmmmmmmm...... .

Yes i am considering buying the car, but when you started talking about 40k this 40k that, i couldn't help but laugh . Actually Jet this is why i said what i said: look here. So who is :Owned: now? :shake:. Your car was bought under similar circumstances and has been "WELL USED" to it's full potential since it has been landed. Which i have no proplem with as the extensive mods can handle the strain. I am the type of person that would get the car fully checked by myself and my mechanic b4 placing an offical offer. But needless to say i would not offer $21,000 for such a extensively modified. car. No deniying (sp?) the car has the goods, but the overall condition is unknown to me.
  11. Ed, buddy Glad to see that you are still with us and in one peice Take care mate, especially in the wet.

    YLWGTR accident!

Nooooooo...... So not wanted to hear this news. He also just recently gathered all the top line gear to make that car really boggie. 5hit, that's just f**ked up!
  13. Good to see a few Westies on this site. Not really fussed on location, or date. Have been seeing heaps of skylines around, will be good to match faces with cars.

Jet, there might be 40k's worth of mods put into it, but the car is not worth 40k. i.e. My car owes me about low 30's, but if i was to sell it i will be lucky to get low-mid 20's. (Just thinking wtf took the price to the 30 mark when i bought it for $18,500 std, but i have all receipts.) Not being a smartass, just telling it how it is.
  15. I live in Delahey. Burgundy S1 R33 19" dual 5 spoke rims Fmic, with std type-m bar modified Personalized plates (black with white lettering) ps: if you know the car please doent quote the reg . Will be up for a mini meet. How about Bunnings on Keilor-Melton Hwy in Taylors Lakes?
  16. FARK man, i'm hurtin just reading about your run of bad 5hit! Would love to get my hands on those filthy farkwits and teach em a lesson or two. Honestly, try to concertrate on you exams and leave the car for the time being (But keep enquiring about the security camera footage). It's hard, but your future is at stake and this is just a tempory set-back. I have a spare dash insert with all the trimmings, give me all call if you still have my number, otherwise PM me. Hope to c ya around. Alan
  17. Yes and Yes
  18. You can actually keep the cartridge plugged into the ecu and change from one map (ecu's internal map) to the other (cartridge) in a matter a seconds (3 presses of a button). Great for cruising and saving fuel, then if you want to have a little fun just switch maps.I myself only drive my car on weekends, so i always want to have some fun . (unfortunately i sometimes don't have time to take it out then )
  19. PS: I have modified (seperated the screen and the keypad) myself, to create a neater install .

    Photos of your car?

I'm Interested. Fmic. 19" rims 3" exhaust That's about all from the exterior Give me a call is you like my car. 0427076490
  21. Nah, i will do all 4 as dirft is ment for all 4 wheels to slide slightly. It is easier to control the car with the accelerator. Too much front grip will cause the arse end to break out too easily. All 4 std rims have 205, nice and thin. They are also a hardish compound
  22. Look at the a/f ratios and ensure the std fuel pump is up to the task.
  23. How would 19's at the front and 16's on the rear look I think i have to bloody change all 4 rims, as i had too much grip with the 19's
  24. I'm in
  25. This is were Sam replies:You almost had ME! You never had your car, let alone me. Granny shiftin when ya should of been double clutchin...................... (somethin like that) LOL:rofl: :shake:
