OOOps, my Bad! Learn somethin every day. So why are some people buying these safety switches/sensors, for the gear stick, when it has one already? Is it possible that the sensor is on the clutch and not the gear?

Same bar, same mounting position, just that the depth (behind the bar) is differant. (There is alot of space between the bar and radiator, or whatever else is behind the bar) Compare the pics above to a std. indicator assy. You will see that where the reflectors (std) are it narrows significantly, as the fog lamps remain straight. I can show you in person as i have them in my shed (Be it in very poor condition, another reason why i replaced them) I modified the pic above to demonstrate the rear housing of a std. indicator assy.

I thought it was $25 per inspection. Or was it $50? Not too sure. Mine came with rwc, and it's been too long for me to remember the last one i done.

Calder Park. Last friday of every month. You can do a few laps, just let the pass cars get about 3/4 of a lap in fron of you. Problem is that you only get 3-4 laps, other slower cars are on the track and you catch up quick, real quick. But still fun. Haven't been for a few months myself.

Correct me if i am wrong, but manuals don't have such a sensor, from factory any. That is why you can start your car when it is in gear and it will launch forward. This is also why people with remote start alarms should install such a sensor. my 2c

This is 100% correct. My car came wit this option from the factory, as i have the switch mounted on the indicator stalk. Unfortunately i had to remove these fog lamps, as there are alot deeper than the indicator assy. without foggies, as they were not sitting properly when i installed a fmic.I now use this switch as my boost switch .

Being registered with a different engine type does not make it legal, in regards to epa and roadworthy. Half the time you can walk into an RTA and tell the clueless person behind the counter "my original motor blew up and had to replace it with a rb26dett, engine number ##########". They wouldn't have an idea what you are talkin about. But when being inspected, the inspectors generally know their stuff (not talkin about street cops). But you don't worry about this 5hit until you need to.

What condition is it in? Why are u selling it, to replace it with a stock one? How many km's has it done? When selling something please give as much detail as possible (including price) so people can make an informed decision. PS: I'm not interested in buying it myself, just thought i will ask the obvious questions to help everyone else.
