  12. The meet was great and i have some great pictures to upload (if i could make the size smaller 1Mb per pic ) On the dyno day, which hopefully will be happening soon, i will try to bring a set of "wheel weighers" (scales) that are sometimes used by the RTA to weigh trucks, etc. , so that we could weigh and maybe do a suspension ballance on our cars (for those who have coil-overs). Hope to see you all soon, as well as those that could not make it to this meet. GREAT freinds, GREAT bbq, GREAT day, Great pics, and a GREAT (but confussing [ Ash] cruise to Altona. C ya Alan
  13. I will still be coming!! Just found out, BMT is a 5-10min walk from my work nismoR34 Can you please bring your db meter, PLEEEEAAASE!!! C ya all there! Alan
  14. I will be there for the bbq and fund raiser. This sounds like a mad day out. PS: Can someone post all details. ie: Full address, etc.
  15. Amm, i think they can. Random roadworthy checks. They could also detain you till the warrent arrives, should they require one.
  16. Hahahahahaha!! With that HUGE intercooler and the server mods to your front bar, i think stealth is out the door. Car looks bloody great, thou i would definitely not call it stealth. That gfb BOV, looks like a load of crap. Once the cops open the hood and see that trumpet, they will give you a canary. Same principal as a removable silencer in the mufler.
  17. Boost is higher due to the exhaust and pod, happens to all cars when these mods are done.
  18. How is your tyre pressure?
  19. What is the EASIEST and BEST way to remove that rubbery coat (you know what i am talkin about.)?
  20. Look like the people in the know are the best to listen to, so go the e-manager But i still stress, that you MUST unblock your BOV! I personally think that you mechanics advise/reasoning is dead wrong!! What do you say rev210?
  21. Is the e-manager a replacement ecu or a piggy-back? Also: Is it a direct plug-in? Does it have the same tunning resolutions as a pfc? Any modifications required to adapt it to you car? Does it have the same features as a pfc? (Do you need the extra features that the pfc may offer?) I don't know much about the e-manager, but these are the things to consider when justifing the $400 differance.
  22. Out of the two, i would definately go the power fc. A much better, proven, combination. If your reeeeally want the cop seeking attention go the atmospheric BOV. If you want to damage your turbo keep the BOV blocked and have the "cooool" fluttering noise (lol). Otherwise be smart and stick to the plumb-back system . My 2c Alan
  23. Congratulations lowlux, getting first prize, with the most correctly answered questioniar. Actually your g/f should probably get most the credit as you would have been too busy drivin :uh-huh: (sssshhhhh!, i wont tell anyone, haha too late!!) It was a great event, and we still managed to get 28 cars. Unfortunately the wether and probably exams were the main contributing factors to a smallish turn out. The next one will be planned at a different time of the year. As for you sleepy heads who had nooo really excuse to miss it, well your lose , just hope to see ya all at another cruise. :uh-huh: Clarky was driving the white R33 GTR, the one parked next too my burgundy R33. Well fun was had by all with a few tricky questions to seperate the feild, even thou it was a cold, wet misserable day. The feed at the end partly made up for it. C Ya Alan PS: Sorry lowlux, i am bad with names. Can you please remind me?
  24. I will be there! Rain, hail, but hopefully shine Alan
  25. Some car alarms have a feature to automatically raise the windows when the alarm is armed. You may be able to use this trigger to fold your mirrors. I have never thought of this idea myself, not bad. Alan
