*BUMP*

I have TEIN height and damper adjustable suspension. The car is lowered but not excessively, and the struts are fairly stiff (not much travell, on softest setting). The car would look alot meaner if lowered alot more, but i would then be required to roll the gaurds, and have to worry about speed humps, gutters, driveways, etc., which i could live without the hassle. Keeping in mind that the rims are 19's. When i look at the gaurd from wheel hight, the wheel arche sits at the same point as the top of the tyre. This is possible a the rim is not flush or sticking out of the gaurds and the rubber curves in a little from the outside walls. I am unable to stick me finger between the gaurds and the rubber .

DJ thanks for the offer, but we shall stick to what is fair for all (apart from the guy who asked to be first), so if ppl arrive b4 i will be more than happy to get the car done after theirs. I too want a TOP CLASS job done to my car and do not wish to rush anyone, hope that 11 cars in 8hrs isn't going to result in sub standard work, but the finish should be fully garanteed against bubbling, peeling and workmanship. I am going to carefully remove my rear seats and parcel shelf b4 i get there, as i don't want them to "accedently" damage or scratch the car. Does any other trim needs to be removed? This will also save them alot of time, thus taking a little more care on applying the tint.

Was a great cruise and meet, thanks to all who came! Hope to see more cars/ppl on the next one. Pred. we were driving back at about 1:30pm, so if you were on the road at 10:30, it may not have been your car. Some colour and a HUGE wing that was unmissable. C ya Alan

Hard to drive 2 cars at once.

Sorry people i don't want to get there early then have to wait for ages because people are making excuses to get in early and leave. If you have other commitments then do it in your own time. I liked the idea that was suggested by R31Nismoid, the cars get done in the order you arrive in. This is a fair way to do thing, as everyone else also have other obligations. I am 'on call' for work on that day, but have arranged with a collegue to cover me while i am at tint-a-car. So do i get primary status to get my car done first or second? NO, but i will be there as early as possible, so i can go back to work if i am required! Don't mean to be a prick, but we all have our own resposibilites and i think work is more important than a game, and i am still not asking for special privledges. The only person who can most welcomely 'jump the que' would be DJ-L3thal as he got off his A55 and organised this for us! Alan

TTF (The Tyre Factory) Preston On the Hume HWY. Between Bell Str. and Mohoney's Rd. on the left as you are heading outbound (Campbellfield). I advise NOT to do it, as any rolling of gaurds can crack the paint. May not happen straight away, but may happen later on. No-one gives a garantee against cracking of paint around the gaurds. I have 19" rims with 275/30/19(rear) - 245/35/19(front) rubber and still have not needed to roll my gaurds.

Sorry buddy, i am still FAR from convinced!! As i am the one that got 'burnt'. I was not expecting alot of cars, 10 max., your 'CLAIMED' 30 cars sounds great, but is still unproven and suspect. Surely, someone you know, or someone from another forum took a photo of the cars at the epping plaza. As i stated b4, i was there at 9:33pm and no cars in sight, while doing plaza laps for 20mins. (lol) I love cruizing, and am also a member of a car club located in Tullamarine. Members to this forum have regular meets, your presance at one of these meets will go a long way to getting a better response. I would like to join your cruises and support any attempt to get car enthusiests together, but F***ing up a meet on your first post was not a good thing! Try to get a set of flat rubber washers. The pressure between the spoiler and boot lid should stop any water from getting into the boot.

Make sure your pod filter is sealed from the engine heat, and has a decent air duct from the front bar to the pod. I Agree fully with benm, except for step 4/. fuel reg. and pump should be up to the task. When and if you decide to upgrade the turbo then do these mods. I have an after market ecu and the gains were very noticable. Still running factory pump and reg. without any signs of leaning out, up top. a/f is approx. 12.2, which sacrifices a couple of rwkw to keep the engine very safe. Car pulls alot harder and feels alot stronger when tuned properly with a ecu. My 2c Alan

While you are doing the 1st service/compliance i would also change the timing belt. Congratulations on your ride! It is safer to transporta car with a full tank, as fuel vapours are more likely to blow than the fuel itself. Thats why at indoor car shows you must have a full tank of gas.

I think they use the term "rebirth", for that! Highly illegal. Please correct me and explain if i am wrong.
