Don't forget though, that our cars do not have that frame around the windows, that is part of the door, like the older cars have. So i think, (and correct me if i am wrong) if the window was smashed it will just flop down.

I agree 100% When i was looking for the front bar indicator assy. I was quoted $120ea for s/h ones from the wreckers. Whent to Nissan dealership in Dandenong and got them for $75ea brand new (genuine items) and picked them up 7hrs after ordering them.:uh-huh:

Oh well we all have to start somewhere, we can only get better with practice, hopefully!

FS HKS GT3035 turbo with HKS....
Al replied to rojoor's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Wouldn't this be a bit laggy for your purposes INASNT? **Alan knocks on the back door, as he too might be interested, and asks for the answers to the following questions to be PM'ed to him asap. -Is it a BB turbo? -Any plumbing mods required to mount in a RB25det engine? -Any dyno graphs for this set up? would like to see the response of the turbo -How old is it (km and months)? -where did it come from? -why are you selling it? -What are the specs? Sorry about all the questions, but i am very interested and would like to do my research first. Thanks for your time and help. Hope to hear from you soon. ** :innocent: What!? I don't know what you talkin' about officer. :innocent: -
Another option to consider is the Wolf 3d V4 plug-in. Uses the same loom as factory, has alot of tuning options, (can't be bothered listing 'em), and the distributor/manufactuer are in Bayswater, Melb., Vic. Just got my car done and it is great, i would recommend it personally. Only a small bug with the idle (that is related to tunning not product fault), just needs a bit more fuel. If you want to meet up and have a look at the unit, install and booklet, just pm me.

I might be interested, as i have not ran it yet at calder. I could ask management about a group booking, this friday night as i will be helping out (an offical) on the cruise/show & shine thingy. The car has run a 1/4 at Heathcote, before most the mods were put on. It got a 14.2sec pass, but my mate drove it, i could only manage a 14.9-15sec pass. Hopefully i could do a bit better this time.

I feel the rates are pretty reasonable, otherwise i would have gone elsewhere. I will say the majority of there work is jap cars and vl-turbo's, but they also so other cars and motorbikes. Give 'em a call, have a chat to Vic. and see the w/shop yourself. It's not the prittest or cleanest, it there to serve it's function.

meggala :bonk: :chairshot JET-33 Sorry to hear that bud, i would would have loved to see your car. Especially on the dirt (hehe). trbs Sorry mate. I was an offical on the day. I got there at 7am and left at 6:30pm. Did you see the motorcana and grab a flag (the only two grass events), as my friends and i were runnin those events. I was the one wearing the white, red and black shirt with OFFICAL written on the back, the other 3 were in grey offical polo shirts. I introduced myself to every 'line and nissan driver that entered. WHAT WAS YOUR CAR DOIN IN THE PARKING LOT!! YOU COULD HAVE HAD SO MUCH MORE FUN IF YOU ENTERED.

Forgot to mention. NO lipped gaurds, and only minor rubbing on inner plastic sheilds (of the front wheel arches), when turning full lock (sometimes). HAHA.

What you mean OR, i have the best of both: 19" x 8" rims all round with F:245/35/19 and R:275/30/19. :shake: :shake:

Looked like a great night people! Hope to make it to the next one. Yet another great photo shoot gone begging

Hay everyone!! I have to ask where was everyone today (especially to JET-33!). Just came back from Calder Park Rwy. and it was F***IN mad. I was helpin out wit the dirt events and meet up with only 3 SAU members. It was crazy!! It could have been better if more cars entered. There were at leat 500, but with such a huge event and soooo many thing to do it looked slightly empty. I had a ball, even though i was an offical, and saw a couple of 'lines and one silvia (from this forum) go sick in the motorcana (on dirt) and grab a flag, WELL DONE people! Next time i might take my own car and have a good thrash, seeing other people absollutely lovin it, made me wish i was an entrant. NEXT TIME! I think this will be run again later this year, so when it does i will keep you all posted! c ya ALan
-
NO idea! This is the first one they are runnin, but i think it will be pretty big as they would have sent flyers to everyone who as entered any previos event. PS: RUNS FROM 8:30AM TO 4:30PM AT LEAST ENTRANT REGISTRATION STARTS AT 7:30AM

If a led is blown go to Jaycar and buy ney ones. If you need the assymbly and can't find one for complience/roadworthy, but a cheap rear window stick on and remove it at a later date.

Buddy, i have not meet you personally, but i consider everyone a friend on this forum, so please do NOT take this the wrong way. You only have owned this car for one week, and in that week i have read more than 3 threads listing various problems with the car. Unfortunately when it comes to business there is no friends, i know i have been burnt badly once b4 and never again (there is only a close circle of 4 or so friends that i would trust with my life, everyone else are friends/mates but not as close [you know what i mean]). While you have the chance take the car to a proper mechanic, who knows his 'lines. Compile a list of faults, hazards etc., then contact a solicitor and see where you stand as a consumer, b4 you are 6 feet under. Something really DODGY is going on! and it is up to you to set it right. For the nuts to keep on coming loose, after you have tightened them, tells me that they didn't put the proper nuts back on when they replaced the rims. No offence but who would try to steal stanard rims. Their excuse does not stick, as you tightened the nuts and after 15min of driving they almost came off again. MAN, GET IN TOUCH WITH A LAWER, AS THE LAW IS ON YOUR SIDE, YOU JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT!! FRIENDSHIP WENT OUT THE DOOR, WHEN YOU WERE SOLD A CAR THAT COULD HAVE KILLED YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS, GIVEN ANOTHER SINARIO. Glad to hear that you were OK. PS: I live in the West and will be willing to deliver (for loan purposes) a complete set of original nuts and rims (if required), to help you out. Alan C. :0427076490 I have driven on 4 nuts b4, but yours sound faulty so i would not risk it.

Got a Birthday party on Sat. so i might not make it!

SHUTO-BOY Do injectors when (or after) you do your turbo. (i'm doin mine at the same time, to only have to pay for one dyno run) If you install a fuel pressure regulator you will also get more flow from your standard injectors. Don't forget the fuel pump!
-
This is not the usual end of month cruise. They are going to have heaps more events: Burnt-out comp., grab-a-flag, go-to-whoa, 1/4 mile drags, motorkanha/slalom and also a dyno shoot out. I will be helping out with the motorkanha/slalom. Jet-33 i will keep a look out for your car. Are you entering or spectating?
-
Is anyone going to turn up, even to spectate? I reckon the day should be a good one.
-
JASH Thanks again for your reply, but still alot of questions left unanswered. If you have time please refer back to my posts and answer all questions, if possible. THANKS Alan
-
If you brush your teeth, you should find it in the bathroom! I am not joking!! Just use normal toothpaste on a soft rag.
-
Some people just have no idea!! Ever if you give them some advice to help them out, they probably won't listen. Thats why i installed a wolf3d!
-
I agree with that. All i'm sayin is that you know certain areas like; chappel, illegal drags (even if only spectating), Bell Str. Macca's, etc. will be swarmming will cops. So why risk it?, then cry on the forrum about cruising down chaps., and driving out with a big yellow sticker because of your BOV.

To complete the upgrade.
