    R33 Gtst Door.

Not too sure what your options are, but remember: A DOOR TRIM IS MUCH CHEAP THAN A DOOR AND PAINT, so get in from your passenger door hack the trim to expose the internal door locking mechanism. But this should really be your last option,
  3. Martin top vids mate, thanks for taking the time to do that I agree Mav , the exhaust just sounds to quiet for the amount of activity that's happening under the bonnet. I was really happy with how the car performed and handled. Did all the runs in second gear and never got bogged down . Just need to solve the breathing issues, then all is good; already spoke to my mechanic on possible solutions. EDIT: Sorry James, missed your vids. They look ace too!
  4. Had a great time, with my limited runs, thanks to all the volunteers My day was cut short as i had blow-by issues. Went to a mate's house on Sunday and completed two compression tests (dry and wet) and a leak down test, all results where tops with 150psi +/-2psi (dry) and 160psi flat (wet) across all 6 cylinders. No trace of oil on the plugs, as they where very clean and dry (honestly the plugs looked like new). We found that the oil was over filled, level was 5mm above the high mark, and that the PCV valve was also blocked, which could result in excessive pressure in the head. My night was also cut short due to having some acid reflux after Tacco Bills . Hope i have better luck next time! Any vids?????
  5. Have you recently installed a head unit? The ground for the head unit could be connected to the headlight dimmer signal wire, as this would show as a ground source when the headlights are off. Simply relocate the ground wire for your head unit to a bare metal location and replace the fuse.
  6. EAS Performance have custom made all my fmic piping and fabrications
  7. Bit early to be launching/thrashing the clutch Anthony, as Gareth has stated you are supposed to bed them in. A number of things could have caused this fault: - Wear and tear on gear box - Excessive thrashing - Bad clutch - Poor installation - etc. Do not assume it's the installation that is always at fault as more times than not, it's not. Ring the mechanic on Monday and explain, in a calm manner, what has happened and how soon they could look at it.

    Bye-bye "adzmax"

From the very first NSC DECA we went to till now, it has always been my favourite R34 GTT. Hasn't changed at all over the years, but you hit the "cosmetic/styling" nail on the head from the start, so why change a good thing. Sad to see the beast go, but times have changed and so have our priorities. Congrates; we'll catch up soon for a few drinks and if you need a hug, well....... you know where Scott lives
  10. Looks good mate Taking mine up to DECA next weekend, for the first time since the build, can't wait to unleash the tyre frying torque
  11. I have done an offical CAMS track day with the same one bolt mounting method and did not have any issues. I know Snowy used the same method for years, when his car was more street than track, and he never had any issues (as far as I know).
  12. That engine is looking taller than usual

    West Meet

I'll see if i can make it.
  14. I am just using one bolt in mine, with an oversized washer. The bolt that is used to hold in the rear seat, in the footwell
  15. That's a bit of a downer But i fully understand and appreciate that it's out of your controll
  16. Are you farken serious???What type of friend asks another mate to pay up for his fark ups? Did you ask him to move when he was "illegally" parked? You obviously knew his car was there, but because of your awesome driving skills you decided to redesign his panels. You farked up, you pay! If i was your mate and you asked/demanded that i pay for half the damages you did to my car, i would put the money in a metal bucket, then take a piss and dump in it and throw it through you front windscreen, maybe then you'll know how much of a friend you are. Nothing short of a low life act!!
  17. How soon do you need them? I am changing my 17" rears after DECA, as they are pretty shitfull, the power torque doesn't help them much either , so i'll have a pair of 255/17 tyres available then.
  18. Or a whiteline adjustable front sway bar for a 33gtst
  19. Steve, get off the net and finish that GTR, i want to see that rb30dett at DECA!!!!
  20. I fitted one on my 33 and it hit the sway bar. Problem was fixed with a $300 sway bar from sydneykid. Just make sure he knows it's a HE sump, not a dry sump setup.

    Ruffls S15 Stolen!

Paul, how many people have access to produce a genuine looking fake Victorian Drivers License? As Ant said no license no drive. What if the potential buyer was genuine, but crashed the car on the test drive, then turns around and states that he has no license, or does a runner from the accident and leaves you picking up the bill for both cars.
  22. ps: still unclear where the piece of cam ended up
  23. using aftermarket cams with a stock turbo will result in a power decrease. Pete (bass junky) did it on his rb25 bro and it ended up with a little less power everywhere, till he upgraded the turbo.
