  1. As if that line hasn't been used before Oh well, hope it works as well as they "guarantee"; if it doesn't what happens and who pays for the labour to remove and refit another clutch?
  2. Happy B'Day Saff and Greg, hope you both had a great day
  3. YOU BETTER BRING THE GTR THIS TIME. No more of this panzy auto Supra rubbish EDIT: Should really finish reading the whole page before posting a reply. Steve get your ass into gear and finish off the GTR!
  4. Looks awesomely tuff Nick!!!
  5. This is going to be great! Been waiting for 2 years to do another DECA
  6. I have the same clutch, competition type as well, but for a gtst. It's actually called Super Coppermix-C Interesting you have used the Nismo slave cylinder as it specifies not to be used on twin plate clutches. I was about to order it myself, but decided against it after reading about the warning and inquiring about it.
  7. Nismo Super Copper Mix (Twin plate) Drives and feels almost like a standard clutch and has no problem holding on to the power and torque of my 325rwkw, Rb30det set-up I have never heard anyone complain about them and i know a few people that use them.
  8. Pretty much what my mechanic did and loaded the crap out of the engine on the first few passes. But there are alot of other new items in an engine build, other than bedding in the rings, that's why he made me bed in the engine for a 1000km before doing a final tune and allowing me to cruise on the Fwy/Hwy. The "bed-in" tune was pretty much 95% of the final tune; once things have worn in the engine does get a bit looser, thus the final tune is done. My mechanic built the engine, so i just done what he felt best. As stated earlier, everyone has their own opinion on the issue.
  9. Happy B'day!
  10. Agreed 100%
  11. Not really concerned about power, more engineers cert and EPA cert., but more power is always welcomed
  12. Just some outside feedback, that hasn't been mentioned. Have the "SKLINESAUSTRALIA" in white outline, with the middle "SAU" section filled in red. You are also missing a "." in "A.C.T.", after the "T". Otherwise just drop all the ".'s" and have "ACT" I too prefer the 1st banner btw
  13. Just remember Jake, it's not the truck's fault!
  14. Bit late, but will not come out tonight. Only had 4.5hours sleep last night and was called out to work at 7:30am this morning and just came back home an hour or so ago. Too tired sorry
  15. So what is it 7 or 7:30? Will try to make it, depends what i am doing tomorrow.
  16. Nice result! I would have to do a little research on E85, in all honesty i have not heard about it in Melbourne. So you think it will be easier to pass the emissions test using E85?
  17. Do share.................................please
  18. Do you have any business plans with the photo shoot? It's your first post and you are planning a "photo shoot", just want to know what the photos are going to be used for. If you are planning to go to the beaches near the city, with a few nice imports, be prepared to deal with the local police and TMU
  19. That's because the C does not stand for Chicken
  20. Hahaha, So what are you doing, for work, in China? Trying to find a cheaper supplier/manufacturer or checking up on your current one? Makes it hard when you're by yourself in a foreign country and can't speak their language. Just walk down the street and try their bugs and other "exotic" foods
  21. Well i would be doing a bit of research on the type and brand of powder coat they use, wouldn't think it's the type of stuff generally used. Is the core also coated, or just the end tanks?
  22. Should look awesome once it's done!
  23. Thanks guys! Was great to catch up with everyone, especially Jake and Ross, after we had "words" on another thread . All good though, was some funny shit. Farah always happy to help. PS: I saw you today, at the lights turning right into Calder Park Drv, at about 5:45pm. I was in my work '07 Hilux and beeped the horn as i turned left into Melton Hwy, from Calder Park Drv. Nice work on your car too, loved how well made the bonnet is and those rims look tuff. Don't be too dis-heartened with your luck with the car, all will be good shortly. Hope to meet you all again soon!
  24. Nope, just used a thin layer of matt black aluminum paint. Powder coat is too think and will drastically effect the cooling efficiency of the fmic. The intercooler pipes are powder coated satin black (outside the engine bay).
  25. Great night guys/girls! Good to meet new faces and match up usernames Even Archie made an appearance!
