I was there with Dragon Motorsport, as i met most the guys through EAS.
I found that MAS keeps getting smaller each year with less attractions to keep people entertained. Still enjoyed it, as i had time to look at some nice cars and sit back with a few Johnnies .
Was VERY disappointed with the dyno, you would think that if a car was smoking the rears on the first past, they would at least have a 2nd look at the straps. All 3 runs produced heaps of smoke, from the rear wheels, but poor kw figures. Just can't understand how they can get the power down on a 800+rwkw car and totally fark up the strapping of a 300+rwkw; i guess if you're not a big "player" they just don't give a shit. Car left the dyno with two strips of rubber spread across the floor and stuck in the guards. Below is a pic of some of the rubber i dug out from the guards. A fair amount considering it only had 3 passes, the operator was a bit of a tool; if you could see/feel the car loosing traction on the dyno, why the fark would you continue the run?
What a busy week/weekend!
Had a chance to meet up with a few SAU crew.
Big congrates to Ferrah and Team Ignite; always knew it was going to be a close decision between our two clubs.
On a happier note, i "sold" my jumper leads for $150
A guy needed to borrow them, i was about to ask for his license, then he gave me $100 and said he'll collect the money when he returns the leads, a few hours later i remembered about the leads and the money in my pocket, and after counting the money i realized he had actually given me $150. He never came back with the leads
So tired need some rest
