    Happy Birthday Bec!

Happy B'day Bec!! So when are we going out to celebrate? (i forgot the date )
  2. That's like using an example of firing a shotgun when demonstrating how to fire a missile from a freight. -One has nothing to do with the other; so using your "Parking analysis" to explain how the truck should have analyzed the situation is beyond imagination.
  3. Where did that come from? Grossly unjustified buddy!
  4. The truck is driving on the road and not in a car park! What, you expect him to slam the brakes and reverse over the poor bloke behind him who has no idea what's going on. If anything the GTR should have reversed back behind the line, as he is the only one that has over shot anything, not the truck. You talk about common sense; where the hell is it in your reasoning?
  5. Why was he driving carelessly? Because he didn't want to swerve onto on coming traffic or didn't want to change lanes and side swipe another motorist to avoid hitting a "GTR"! Pfffffffffffffft.............wake up and stop dreaming! I'm sure you have tried to beat the red light yourself. I have seen more cars do stupider things than i have seen trucks. GD2ILA: Sorry about my mis-post before, didn't intend to have a go at you. Was more having a go at the people who have no clue and wrongly advise others to spend thousands on legal fees, just to loose the case. Some people just think because it's a GTR they have right of way. I bet if you were behind a car that had the misfortune of doing what you have done, and you where just reporting how the Camry in front of you stuck his noise out into an intersection and it got wiped clean by a track, the same "legal advisers" will be bagging the shit out of the Camry driver. It's an unfortunate accident, that's why we have insurance, and i'm sure it will be back on the road better than ever.
  6. Mine at Autosalon, before the camera battery died Didn't get a chance to give the car a good polish or wax, Just washed it and used a quick detail spray-on wax.
  7. Well if you answer my above questions, Tommy's question could be answered as well
  8. Same.. Should be OK though.
  9. Top feed or side feed? High impedance or Low impedance?
  10. Most those other events were post in the "exclusive events" section
  11. Bad luck mate, hopefully she'll be back to her full glory in no time. Unfortunately you are at fault by crossing the stop line and entering the road onto on coming traffic, no point trying to blame someone else for your mistake
  12. Sounds good, will come if i can make it, i am on call this weekend, which starts from Friday 4:30pm
  13. PS: If anyone has a few decent pics of my car i would really appreciate the Hi-res copies. My camera went shitty and the battery died after 20 shots. Even the pic above is not even focused properly
  14. I was there with Dragon Motorsport, as i met most the guys through EAS. I found that MAS keeps getting smaller each year with less attractions to keep people entertained. Still enjoyed it, as i had time to look at some nice cars and sit back with a few Johnnies . Was VERY disappointed with the dyno, you would think that if a car was smoking the rears on the first past, they would at least have a 2nd look at the straps. All 3 runs produced heaps of smoke, from the rear wheels, but poor kw figures. Just can't understand how they can get the power down on a 800+rwkw car and totally fark up the strapping of a 300+rwkw; i guess if you're not a big "player" they just don't give a shit. Car left the dyno with two strips of rubber spread across the floor and stuck in the guards. Below is a pic of some of the rubber i dug out from the guards. A fair amount considering it only had 3 passes, the operator was a bit of a tool; if you could see/feel the car loosing traction on the dyno, why the fark would you continue the run? What a busy week/weekend! Had a chance to meet up with a few SAU crew. Big congrates to Ferrah and Team Ignite; always knew it was going to be a close decision between our two clubs. On a happier note, i "sold" my jumper leads for $150 A guy needed to borrow them, i was about to ask for his license, then he gave me $100 and said he'll collect the money when he returns the leads, a few hours later i remembered about the leads and the money in my pocket, and after counting the money i realized he had actually given me $150. He never came back with the leads So tired need some rest
  15. N1 water pump on a street car is not the best option. If the car spends a lot of time at high rpm, fine, but on the street you may find the car may over heat, especially in traffic on a hot summer day.
  16. Mav is your banana man! He'll be happy to give you his banana..................bar

    Diy Carwash

I have no issues using the DIY car washes, but the water is filtered through a salt filtration system, so it's best to use the spot free rinse at the end of the wash, to remove any possible salty residue.
  18. Sorry guys just realized it's this Sunday (i know i missed it in the first post ), i'll be at Autosalon this weekend.
  19. Happy B'day Wayne!! Wish i knew on Sunday, would have shouted you a beer mate!
  20. WTF are you on about Brentt, CBD is fine, i have never had an issue in all my years clubbing and i still go out every other weekend. Spell check will make it easier to read.
  21. Just what i was thinking. Been wanting to do the Great Alpine Rd cruise for years, this just may be the excuse i can use to do it. Keep us posted and i may decide to meet you guys at Wangarrata (sp?)
  22. Something to consider..................

    Diy Carwash

Correct, it's a legal requirement. But i think the "spot free rinse" is not recycled water
