  1. Happy b'day!!
  2. Happy b'day fellas!
  3. You need to wake up 15mins earlier Chris, pitty you were late mate, missed an awesome cruise.
  4. WOW!! What an awesome cruise/day!! Massive thanks goes to Wayne for the time and effort taken; that was clearly evident on the cruise and notes. I think it is the first time in SAU history that no-one took a wrong turn, got lost, did a u-turn, or drove on a gravel road; top effort mate, it is greatly appreciated, those notes were spot on. Thanks Mav for letting me crash at your place, made both Saturday night and today all that more enjoyable and easier to manage. It was great to see a few cars at this cruise, to my knowledge all made it safely and without any incident. I had the most fun i have ever had in my car for a VERY long time. The car performed flawlessly and effortlessly all day. Big thanks to EAS for putting together a tough package. Today was the first real test it had since it has been on the road and i was pushing it to my limits in some places and it still had room to breathe. I am sure in time i will be more confident and be able to go even harder The tyres were my weakest link today and will be sorted in time. Well i am definitely looking forward to the next cruise, but it's going to be hard work, matching the enjoyment had today. THANKS AGAIN WAYNE Only 3.5hrs sleep and i am still awake off the buzz from todays cruise
  5. Happy B'day Rosco!!

    Got A New Car

Very nice buddy, but you need rims with a better offset
  12. Hahaha..... The memories keep flooding back

    Washable Filters

HKS mushroom/pod filters are well know to be one of the worst filters on the market
  14. I've heard good things about Rampant too, even though he sometimes gets a little excited with offsets, but his partner keeps him in line
  15. :laughing-smiley-014: right..................................

    Crunch

Sorry to hear same, good thing you got the cops on your side and a report to prove it to your insurance company. Hope she comes back better than ever! WTF?You open your mouth, now you need to tell all. Hopefully nothing too serious.
  17. Ooops, yeah it's the top tensioner you need to move to the left Hence why i don't build my own motors
  18. Sure can! The switch is controlled proportionally with the movement of your right foot
  19. Hey Dale, On my setup i'm using one of each, don't know what benefits, etc there are, but that's how my mechanic wanted it. I am also using the Dayco belt. I recommend you move the lower tensioner position an extra 2mm to the right (from centre) to what is stated in the document, as even with the tensioner on the loose setting the belt was pretty tight, this was done on the second build of my engine.
  20. What an awesome holiday!!! Great group of friends, great destination and alot of drinking 16 days of partying in Thailand was an excellent experience, didn't really get sick once, which was great, but got food poisoning from the last Thai airlines meal, stupid airline, spent yesterday afternoon and today recovering . Oh well better it happened on the way back than on the way up. Thanks to all involved for making it a top holiday, especially Adz and Dee for all the effort they put in, in organizing the trip.
  21. Exactly Nick! Very easy to drive and VERY tractable on low boost (315rwkw ), also get better fuel economy: 410km/45ltrs. The boost switch only gives a 15rwkw peak power differance, but the low/mid power and torque increase is just insane and breaks traction in 3th, using in-gear acceleration (ie: use 3rd gear, cruise at 70km, then stomp the accerator: instant loss of traction ). Gear acceleration is just awesome, even fifth gear feels like an acceleration gear.
  22. This car was parked close to my house (B**** Cls., Delahey). Always wondered if he was on SAU and what happened to it, as i hadn't seen it for a while.
  23. Yep Nick, all sorted and back in force Feels awesome on the road and could not be happier with the package; 325rwkw with full boost by 3000rpm Next time we meet up, just come and ask for a spin, but best place would probably be at the next DECA. So disappointed that DECA masters has been cancelled
  24. I think it can be as simple as the counter weight in the steering wheel has come off it's fittings and is shorting on the horn contacts. The counter weight sits above (or maybe below) the airbag unit. It is there to make the wheel feel "balanced" and not top/bottom heavy due to the airbag unit. Follow the instructions listed above, but you will not need to remove the wheel itself. Once the bag is removed, you'll see a chunk of metal floating around in the wheel. You'll also see the rubber supports that the weight has broken away from. I think you could get away with using cable ties to re-secure the weight in place. It happened to a mate's R33 s2; At the time we just threw the weight away, but later realized the the wheel felt unbalanced. Oh well we learnt from our mistake. Good luck, especially when trying to get those airbag bolts off. We didn't have the exact tool, we managed to get one off and drilled out the second.
