  1. Take it to ATP, Kyp will be able to give you a rough idea of it's potential HP output.
  2. On a Stagea i would go one of two upgrades. 1/ High flow your current turbo using a sierra-sierra combination. ie: using the front and rear wheels off a sierra cossworth turbo and also upsize the rear housing. I made 274rwkw@15psi, but any more boost didn't really improve the power much, so i dare say 270-280rwkw is probably max for this combo. 2/ Fit a HKS GT2835ProS or even a Garrett GT30R. The GT30R should see just over 310rwkw, just do a search on both turbos, both have great results. Just another note: The Stagea is a heavier car than the Skyline, thus will load up the rb25 more, resulting in boost spooling up a little quicker. Also the 4wd will make the surge in power, once on boost, easier to handle.
  3. Have a set of Australian made "Hot Bits", height adjustable, coil-overs. They are made to suit Australian roads, great to drive on and not too hard. Had them for 4 years, used them on my 33 which is a weekend car and averages about 5,000km/yr, also done a few track days and motorkhanas with them and they handled great. I only took them off as i wanted to raise the car for better handling and these would not go any higher than 345mm, from center of wheel to bottom of arch, at the front. Located in VIC, will sell for $700, cost me $1650 new. Below are a few pics of how my car sat with them, obviously they coilovers could be adjusted much lower.
  4. Here is a link to the trusted Wolf Dealers/Tuners on the Wolf EMS website. There are a few in Queensland so find one closest to you. Dealer/Tuner Link Trent are you an authorized/trained dealer/tuner? Just asking as you name is not on the list.
  5. They are cheaper for a reason. Are they value for money? NO! There is already a thread on this, no need to repeat the same arguments a second time .
  6. Looks tough abu Any other pics?
  7. Nice spot mate!! CEF11E Hope you intend to upgrade to 5-stud, brakes and suspension before fitting the rb30det. Silly move otherwise.
  8. OOps my bad Didn't see the second part of the title, as it doesn't appear in the e-mail notifications. Sorry again, i only have R33 mirrors. Not sure if the glass part is the same, but i doubt it.
  9. I work 2mins from Coles Ivanhoe , But live in Delahey, between Taylors Lakes and Deer Park. Which mirror do you need?
  10. If you have the std ecu you may encounter "boost cut". Did the seller show you a receipt for the turbo upgrade? Unfortunately too many people can BS, and unless you remove the turbo and check or you know the mechanics that serviced the car, you have no idea what the car does or does not have . PS: Welcome and congrates on the purchase!
  11. What side of town are you from? I have spare mirrors that may still have the glass, just need the plastic covers myself, so if you know how to remove the glass safely you can have it for a 6pack of Johnies
  12. Looks nice man!
  13. Happy belated B'day Andrew!! Hope the car got some nice pressies
  14. Happy 21st Ferah!! Hope you have a great day and an awesome weekend

    In The 'hood

Congrates mate!! I remember seeing this car at MAS; A lot of work, effort and money has gone into it, looks tops.
  18. As the car is, but using drag radials. Don't think the car can break 11sec with street tyres.
  19. Awesome Fills me with hope, that i my break the 11sec barrier

    R33 Rollcage

So are you thinking of making one yourself or getting it made? If you are getting it made, send Roy a PM and ask for the details of his fabricator, as the guy that done his is an adviser for VICroads.
  21. Well got the car back last Friday and it is awesome. As my mechanic already had a base tune done, from the first build, he tweaked it a little, while bedding it in on the dyno. Car is still in run-in tune, but is making a little more power than the first tune . Absolutely loving the instant response of this setup; not even the factory turbo spool up as quickly as this.
  22. Car back on the road and run-in tune tweaked a little. Still a run-in tune. rb30det + GT3076R = BEST "all round" COMBO: Just ask Cubes
  23. Good point I guess i am just posting up as i come across related threads
  24. I love Winton too, just think these "fun days" could be run safer by loosely "grouping" the cars/drivers. Look at the awful mix of cars in the first pic; you have a 25kw red box and a stripped out racing EB falcon, and everything in between, on the track at the same time!!
