  1. I'm in, just tell me when, i have that same spot marked on my GPS
  2. Danny, long time no see mate!! Good to see you still have the 'line Would be great to see you at an event again!
  3. Good to see Winton are still willing to risk the lives and cars of their entrants, by mixing the field with a complete range of driver capabilities/experience and car performance, all on the track at the same time That vid justifies why i will not go to Winton on another one of these "fun days". Even though the vid playback speed has been doubled , it shows the risks some are willing to take, even on a "fun day". some_cs_student has experienced the risk of the day; i bet some people/cars would cut inside you just to "think" they out-handled a GTR/Skyline round that corner.
  4. Car is back on the road The run-in tune has been tweaked, but a full tune is still required once i have clocked 1000km. VERY happy with the result! rb30det + GT3076R = 304rwkw@16psi with instant response PS: Yes i am whoring my graphs in various threads, as i am wrapped about the results so far
  5. Thanks. Full tune will consist of 20psi, setting the adjustable inlet (modified the std gear and maintained the VVT) and exhaust gears, boost controller (as it is currently working just off the actuator), rev limiter set to 8000rpm, more ignition timing and better tune. All items stated above are subject to gains gained. ie: if no valuable power/torque is gained from increasing boost to 20psi, i will leave it at a reasonable boost setting. Same goes with the gears, timing, and rev limit. PM sent. Cubes: the curve feels alot better than it looks too
  6. Comes down to personal taste. I have a red/charcoal/black theme with my car, so i painted the cooler black.
  7. Hey Phil car is back on the road mate The run-in tune has been tweaked, but a full tune is still required once i have clocked 1000km. VERY happy with the result! rb30det + GT3076R = 304rwkw@16psi with instant response
  8. Drinking grape juice is just ghey!!!
  9. BIG THANKS Troy for coming with me, the company was much appricated, had an awesome drive. I have a bag of roofies here if you are ever desperate
  10. If you want to remove the center part of the bar, you will also have to cut out the center part of the reo. To do it properly and not look like a hack job, you'll need to keep all your offcuts, take the bar and the off cuts to a plastic welder and ask him to weld some pieces of plastic into the cutouts to make it look neat. Then you'll need to prep and paint the bar. Here are some of my pics: Old: Recent:
  11. Just came back from a 5-6hr drive with Brisby; completed 270 running-in km on the first night Damn it felt awesome!! So farken happy!! Here is the latest run-in tune:
  12. WTF! How many have you seen? I plan to hit 300+rwkw, using a GT30R, with a 0.82 rear housing. Hell i have already made 270rwkw, on run in tune, with the vacuum/boost line for the actuator running straight off the comp cover; no restrictors, solenoids or ebc's. Once run in is complete we'll be adding and extra 5psi (20psi max), more timing, better tune, adjustment of cam gears, boost controller, and an extra 1000rpm. Here in my run-in dyno graph: This turbo would come in hard by about 3500rpm, on a well set-up engine, and keep pulling hard up to redline. I would be very surprised if it didn't make 350+rwkw.
  13. Looks so cute! Glad to hear all is ok mate! Congrates again, to you and Min.
  14. Thanks Bec, I'll go there and have a look at the event.
  15. Well the pics came off ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts-Acces...p3756.m14.l1318 I remember an SAU member selling them on this site, but have no idea who it was.
  16. yup21t: Have you considered using Nismo vinyl/decals to break-up the hard paint line? Sorry these are the best pics i could find:
  17. Why the fark do you want to be the same?????? Fark, it will be a boring place if we all did the same things, had the same opinions, drive the same cars, had the same colour/mods/power/handling/etc/etc/etc.............................
  18. Happy B'day mate, have a great night!
  19. Happy B'day! Nice choice
  20. Here's an idea: Why don't you PM him or even call him, if you are keen
  21. Damn you're full of shit!!Steve's wife has been in hospital for a week, leaving Rob to run most the show. There are priorities and you posting for help on a forum only tells me you're a "home mechanic" and too tight to pay for someone, who knows what they are doing, to do the work. They are run off their feet 24/7, send them an email with your map and your problem, and wait till they have a chance to view the problem. Rob and Steve have helped my mechanic endlessly and always returned a call, if they couldn't take it at the time. Don't bad mouth a business just because they couldn't stop everything and help you (an amateur mechanic/tuner) on the spot, give them time and they will reply. Make sure you send them full details of your setup. I have no affiliation with AEM/Wolf, but have used their product for 5yrs and have seen how helpful and supportive they are to their distributors/customers.
  22. What the hell is a GT35/40 replica turbo? Is it one of those eBay special China turbos that hand grenade after 5 dyno passes?
  23. Nice..............please say it's a manual
  24. Are you referring to the front sway bar? If so PM Sydneykid, he made one for my car to clear the High Energy sump, fits perfect with heaps of clearance and at a good price too.
  25. How some of you guys call that colour pink is beyond me Clearly red, just the flash on the bumper made it look pinkish. The red looks very similar to mine: Laser Red - '96 Ford Mustang - 3 layer pearl.
