  1. I think he means that it doesn't take too long for SAS to reapply the sealant to the t/b's, and was not referring to the task of removing the t/b's from the engine.
  2. Awesome footage Aaron owns the R34GTR, don't remember his username; a very tough piece of machinery
  3. My mechanic used nail polish. Have the t/b's in the closed position, apply the polish around the edge of the butterfly, on the side that the butterfly moves away from the seal, leave for a few hours then just open the throttle bodies.
  4. Just that if you organize an event and on the day are not able to make that event, post it up and excuse yourself for missing it; before the event actually happens. Hence why i said "give us a heads up" Simple
  5. My car will never be driven by a driver like you Having said that i enjoy the car in legal environments; that's when it cops a hard time. All good mate
  6. Thanks guys keep them coming
  7. All good, did a yahoo search. Thanks Other suggestions still welcome.
  8. Phatboy: Thanks but i'm pretty sure it doesn't have a play area wrxxy: any more info?
  9. Judging from your exit out of the Mobile servo, i am not surprised by that reply
  10. I'll leave this for Danielle to answer
  11. Yes, i have seen that before. Close to work so i'll drive past and have a look.
  12. I could see it now mum/s: where're we going? me: Somewhere special i have organised it weeks ago *park at Maccas Family-> <- me I'll pass thanks
  13. Planning ahead (for once ) and looking for a good/nice family restaurant for Mother's day. My brother has 3 kids, all under 5yrs old, so a play area is a must. Somewhere that also takes bookings for the day, as i would not like to take my chances and wait in line. Can anyone help? Thanks
  14. Not really fooling anyone
  15. How about you get the facts before making comments
  16. XRTD33 just a heads up would have been ace.
  17. Will they still be doing drift at Calder? I thought it was all cancelled
  18. Good to meet some new friendly people, hope to catch up with you all again soon. I will more than likely forget all your names, so i'll apologizes now Turn out was good but not great. Bit disappointed that a few people wanting a venue change didn't bother showing up. Hell not even the "organizer" showed up; that was pretty piss poor not showing up to your own first event. As expected the East were to lazy/tight to make an appearance
  19. Should be there tonight But only till the Mobile meet.
  20. Have you confirmed that reading on another dyno?
  21. With the price of airline tickets you'll be crazy not to consider buying a car from interstate. Do as much research as possible first, ask the owner as much questions as possible, and ask for as much pics as possible; before flying up.

How do you know he needs a GTR tuned? Am i missing something? He has a R32 GTS listed in his profile. He may have a friend that needs a WRX or a GTIR or a GT-4, tuned.
  23. Yes if you change your cluster the km reading will display what is stored in the cluster, so a new cluster will show 0 km. I agree with that. The magazine also stated that a km reading can be extracted from the ecu. But if you have re-programmed an R34 ecu, and know what every single bit does in it's programming, i'm happy to accept that you know more than everyone else .
  24. What was stated above is great information, but to get 250rwkw you'll also need injectors. A hi-flowed turbo has the potential to make 280rwkw, which is more than enough for a very quick street car. I would recommend against using a 1bar actuator as it doesn't leave you much room to move. A hi-flow turbo is right on it's efficiency range using about 16psi, anything more it doesn't make much more power. When i had one fitted to my car it made [email protected], with cams and porting. So if you fit a 1bar (14.4psi) actuator, you eliminate the option to have a high and low boost setting. Having said that i never had a low boost setting, using this turbo, but my car was never daily driven.
  25. I am pretty sure the ecu also stores the km reading as well, read it in one of the mag's. They stated the cluster is easy to change, but you can check the ecu and it will have it's true reading still.
