Since when does Racepace have a 4wd dyno?
  2. Here is mine. Link to DIY page for R33 only: DIY tutorial Another thread i posted in, also shows the schematic diagram; towards the end of the first page: click here
  3. That would be great, but do you have a hi-res copy. I have seen and thought of that pic before, but could never find it in hi-res
  4. Try ATP - Advanced Turbo Performance - Kyp. Phone 03 9569 4764 Dandenong Rd Murrumbeena Kyp, at ATP, has done many turbos for many people and w/shops: Including Racepace and EAS Performance He knows his stuff, but his personality is very blunt
  5. RACV is useless Take it to one of the many respected w/shops round Melbourne, they will know what to look for and how the car should drive etc. worn g'knob and changed timing belt do not add up to 50K. It's easy to change the dash or even re-program it, so treat that reading with caution. Changing a wheel bearing could also mean that the car was in an accident or that he lost control and guttered it. Get it checked out properly. Trusted w/shops could be found in the "sticky" on the top of the Victoria forum. If you live in the West/North side my mechanic is listed below. PS: If you buy the car ask for the stock items, just in case you do get epa'ed. Especially the ecu (which has the true km reading stored).
  6. Not sure what you're trying to ask, but i'll try to answer it The following is just MY OPINION and may be incorrect or possibly damaging This done in what i beieve is my order of performance modification 100% std car - 7psi Full exhaust system , quality panel filter, bleed valve - 10psi FMIC - 10psi aftermarket ECU - 13psi Upgraded turbo - 18psi rebuilt engine using quality performance parts - 20psi (pump fuel) / 35psi (race fuel) All depends on the tunning Boost DOES NOT equal power. Making the engine "breathe" easier and having less flow restrictions produces power. In fact boost produces heat and too much heat results in less power
  7. The room only has 1 double and two singles. Dave if you are definitely coming the 2nd single is yours mate. Paul, i wont have a spare bed for Jess' friend, so you may need to consider getting your own room. Just need to know ASAP, if you are staying in my room or getting your own. Antony, sorry mate, it appears my room may be full
  8. What brand tyres are you using? Are they good quality or cheap shit. Cheap tyres can handle really badly in the wet. Could have been oil on the road. Does your HICAS light ever come on, on the dashboard? Do you have an aftermarket steering wheel?
  9. At least you found the problem
  10. I would have been, but can't now Troy can i still take you up on your phone offer
  11. Paul is Jess coming? If so you can take the double. PROVIDED I DON'T HERE ANYTHING GOING ON WHILE I'M TRYING TO SLEEP Antony, if you want i have one spare single left.

    Spaces In Plates?

    No spaces between letters allowed
  14. Ooops sorry Delahey
  15. What you mean? I have no access during work hours and was busy fixing a couple of things at my rental property, as the tenant had a couple of small issues that needed attention. Came home, had dinner, relaxed then logged on at 8:30pm to see i was too late for another meet.
  16. Why do i only notice these thing when it's too late
  17. Yes............ Or a crack through the piston ring land. But unplugging the coil pack on that cylinder still should have made a differance. Maybe the coil pack is faulty or even the loom from the module to the coil pack. Try and swap the loom from your mate's car. PS: Make sure you have the same series engine (ie: S1 coil packs will not work in S2 engines and vis-versa) Have you done a compression test yet.
  18. Fair enough
  19. Sure can Not hard to become a SAU VIC member
  20. I'll try but i have no access to a computer during work hours, so i may not be able to post up if i can make it or not. On the other hand i may finish early and let you know; my job is pretty random like that
  21. I disagree!
  22. Booked at the Tudor, not sure what room number but it has one queen(or double) and two singles.
  23. Correct me if i'm wrong: Wouldn't removing the VCT completely and fitting a non vct cam and cam gear achieve the same results? With the ability to "dial" the cam in with the adjustable cam gear. Most people upgrade cams during this build, as most purchase bigger turbos, etc, and the cams produce great results for very reasonable costs. So if you didn't want VCT, you'll be better off removing it completely and using an adjustable cam gear, just like the GTR setup.
  24. With that power rating, definitely forged; just for the piece of mind and knowing it will handle more abuse.
