  1. Not the titanic: the damn thing sank on it's first voyage Pretty lame Shan
  2. PM about to be sent. I fully back ETM manifolds as a work of art, but that's where the praises stop.
  3. Nothing....... I have given (and recieved back) my VL sump to H.E. to convert into a 7ltr sump with full race baffles/windage trays. Sump has now been fitted to the motor and all is great. Hopefully, should have the engine in the car by the end of the week.
  4. Always the way Car looks clean and nicely moded
  5. Illegal/Defectable in VIC
  6. Nope, you're the one talking about using a grinder Remove the sump and fold the fins down, makes no difference whether you remove them or fold then, just this way you eliminate any possibility of having any metal fillings in your sump.
  7. For those that are not aware: ArenaGTR has an R33 GTR, thus oil levels and any oil related issues do not apply to an electronically controlled HICAS system. Have you checked under the car, at the HICAS control unit? it could have been removed or it could be unplugged. I would still check the s/wheel hub. Have you ran a diagnostic on the ecu for error codes (never done one myself so you'll need to use the "search" button) I would personally remove the HICAS unit, fit a HICAS lock bar, get a 4 wheel alignment and remove the bulb from the dash cluster. Problem solved
  8. NEWS FLASH: 33 GTR can no longer be considered the "whale" of the family, and since 34 GTT weighs more than the 33 GTST, neither can the 33 GTST
  9. Just fold the fins down, why risk having metal fillings in your sump; yes you can wash/flush the sump but can you be 101% sure you have removed all the fillings?
  10. Thanks You should see the new one i'm putting on. It's the c/f 3d wing (i think it's called / like the one in ali-turko's pics) and i have made the brackets so the wing sits lower. Once the car is out of the mechanic's i will fab the brackets out of aluminium and take some pics. Wont be for a while though 99.8% of the time, the car looks like this:
  11. was that really needed?
  12. "Friday night" 7:30pm Don't think many people would take the day off your for this, thus resulting in a poor turnout, if it was AM. Not too mention, who would go to a Dyno comp at 7:30am
  13. You must really fancy you balls; do you play with them alot?
  14. Have you bought a 34????
  15. Those rims look pimp as (bling factor)! How much better would they look if the fronts had as much dish as the rear; just like previous GTRs. I'm sure other manufacturers are working on new rims for the GTR. I still like the std rims; so far the best looking factory rim to come out of the Nissan production line
  16. That has made my mind up, i'll be going 3.5" on my set-up, thanks. Looking at 300-330rwkw, maybe a little more, but don't want it to be restrictive.
  17. Flow should be sufficient, but doubt you'll be under 90db, without at least one muffler between your cat and rear muffler/canon.
  18. Kumo KU31 Hankook K107 From my experience, but remember compromise on price, compromise on quality/grip; so don't expect these to be as good as Perelli P-zero's (for example)
  19. Damn it! I need my car back on the road, missing out on too many things!
  20. Unbolt the s/wheel off the boss/hub, check to see if the HICAS sensor shaft is poking through a plastic locater, thus when the s/wheel turns the shaft turns the sensor. If not go to your local commercial rice supplier (in Vic it's Autobarn) and buy a HKB boss kit to suit a R33 with HICAS, about $80. For my car R33 GTST (with hicas) part number: ON-177 Here is a Just Jap link, scroll half way down the page: http://www.justjap.com/parts_ninterior.htm
  21. How much power?
  22. Al

    Damaged Rb25 Head

    So what you planning now?
  23. Aftermarket steering wheel, with incorrect BOSS kit/hub? There a hundreds of reasons, do a "search".
  24. Should be ok, but will make jack all power, as it's well below it's efficiency range. I intend to use 12psi for street and 20psi for other applications
