  1. No racing club, just SAU VIC and CAMS license. Did a drift training day on a huge skid pan (DECA), but that's about it. Never bothered to try at Calder Park, as i wish to keep my panels straight .
  2. I intend on doing a few motorkahna, hill climbs and track days, so response was my biggest priority. Am i correct in saying: a Garrett GT30R is the same as a Garrett GT3076. Mind you a HKS equivalent will always be a little better.
  3. GT30R would be my pick for 300rwkw. It's the smallest turbo that will make the power, but will still be a little laggy on an RB25. If you are serious about drifting, consider the HKS GTRS kit. I made 270rwkw: Head porting, Tomei cams, std manifold, std plenum. Had a great power band, great package to drive. I have since cracked a piston, at a track day, so have upgraded to an rb30det, using the same 25 head, but with ETM manifold, GReddy plenum, and a few other upgrades. The GTRS was going to restrict the flow of the rb30 so i upgraded to a GT30R; smallest turbo recommended by a few "experts". Once the build is complete i should see about 300-330rwkw, with better response than a std high-flow on an rb25
  4. This was on my previous set-up (rb25) - Tomei cams - Head porting - std exhaust manifold - std plenum - 3" turbo-back exhaust - 550cc inj - Wolf3D V4 ecu - and all other supporting mods (ignore the red line)
  5. Just read your other thread: Have you replaced your cas or tested it on another car? The drop could have farked it. If the cas is farked, the engine will crank, like normal, but will not fire up.
  6. why the re-post?
  7. Mine is a "push-type" Twin plate, Competion clutch, as it is being fitted to my RB30DET, that is currently being built and will hopefully make 300-330rwkw, with heaps more torque than an rb25 . I used Perfect Run, and the clutch arrived within 2 weeks of making the payment. I found Nengun, Perfect Run, and Greenline to be roughly all the same price. Here is the i.d. code for my clutch (off Greenline website). NISMO Super Copper Mix Twin COMPETITION model 3002A-RR593-C Twin plate. 1100kgf/m. Rated to 740ps. Push type. Mine was also just under $2000 delivered
  8. I have the Nismo Super Coppermix going in my car. Was a little nervous, as i had previously spent alot of money on various clutches, only to find that they drove like shit. Anyway, just before Christmas i drove a GTR to a local car wash. I honestly thought the clutch was std, as it had a std engine and felt really easy/smooth to drive. I later found out that it had the same Nismo clutch, that i had bought for my car: i was happier than a pig in shit . Stick with the Nismo Super Coppermix, you wont be disappointed. One of the other clutches i had previously purchased was an Excedy twin plate, that people "claimed" to be like the Nismo clutch, but was a prick to drive: on/off style take-off.
  9. Really Damn, you know how many people have told me "I'm replacing my std pump (gtst) with a GTR pump", because they are too tight to buy a proper pump. Now i read that it is the same pump
  10. Not that hard mate.......a pair is two (2) rims. So he has 2 rims of one style and another 2 rims of a different style. Unfortunately having half a set does not equate to half the price

    F1s March

Don't forget to come and say hi, we'll be there with our cars, in the Autosalon display area.
  12. I personally call them a GT-wing. Hear are a few of my pics, with my old wing, but i am currently making brackets to fit my new c'f c-west wing to my old mounting points. The c-west wing looks a whole lot better, as i have made test brackets using mdf, but sorry no pics.

    Clutch

Well i just purchased my Nismo twin plate, Super coppermix, through Perfect Run. Had no issues with transaction and arrived within 2 weeks of payment. If you REALLY want a local supplier, you can go through RMS motorsport, who is just like Perfect Run and Nengun (be it a little more expensive), but has a shop in Lillydale, so you deal with him face-to-face. I have used Henry (RMS) heaps of times and found him pretty good and he does honor warranty claims, as i had a my mate's set of S15 Splitfire coil packs burn out after 3 months. Or if you are after a specific local clutch supplier, speak to Vic, at EAS Performance, as his "clutch guy" can get the Nismo clutches (not too sure about ORC), and was disappointed when he found out that i purchased mine elsewhere. He is more expensive than Perfect Run, but then you have the customer service, etc.
  14. Yep i'd definitely go to Gary Blackman; Ant's was done there too. I'm guessing "Cremorne" is in Richmond or close enough to be called Richmond. Hulk: I think the legal limit is about 330mm or 350mm in diameter, not 100% sure though . Also to be legal the s/wheel MUST have a padded center.
  15. Why is a std R33 s2, painted pink a "show car"?
  16. I'll be keen to watch too. Hopefully i'll be joining you lot out there soon.
  17. Sorry i missed this too. Came home from work at 7:30, after a 13hr day
  18. So how come these guys are coming down?

I am looking for a pair of adjustable linkages to support the rear of my new GT-Wing. It looks like the GTR throttle linkages, but needs to be about 12" (300mm) long and fit an M6 bolt through it. If i still have confused everyone have a look at the pics below: Main "body/shaft" looks like this. But the ends have this style of joint: So if anyone can point my in the right direction, i would greatly appreciate it. Alan
  22. Thanks, don't think they'll fit under 33gtst guards Good Luck with the sale
  23. The shape/curve of the headlights are slightly different. With the s2 headlights the bar will slightly bulge out from under the headlights, as the s2 lights are flatter.
