  1. What type of car were these purchased for?

I personal have taken my car to CentreLine Suspension (Thomastown), refer to my sig below for details. The guys there are great and have taken good care of my car. Personally i would recommend a set of Aust delivered Tein-Supper Streets. That's that i have recently purchased and with the limited use i have experience so far (car has been off the road for 10 months), they are far better than the other two sets of coil-overs i had in the car.
  3. Sounds like you're preparing you engine for a big bang. The only time you play with boost is on the dyno. Do you have full turbo-back exhaust with a high-flow cat, etc? Or a fmic? Ditch the pod and put the airbox back in with a decent panel filter
  4. That sucks, GReddy FTW! The factory plenum shouldn't hit the std 33 bonnet only hits the strut brace. Since i use my car for track/motorkahna days i wanted to keep the strut brace and went for a GReddy plenum.
  5. Well if he could do "pick-up" it shouldn't be a problem.
  6. When did you put the Brembos on it Nick?
  7. Shan this isn't the guy's "for sale" thread, and i believe all comments above are not harsh. I also think that the price is a dreamer's price. If the car was "untouched/unmodified" with less than 50,000km then you may think it's a collectors item, thus demanding a extravagant price tag. But it has aftermarket items and i even think that sunroof is not genuine, as in one of the pics the cars appears not to have a sunroof. He has also cropped the interior pics and taken pics from angles that "may" hide defects in the trim, etc. Each t their own but i wouldn't give it a 2nd look, even at half that price.
  8. If they are genuine: YES
  9. Stock exhaust on a bigger turbo???????? are you nuts??????
  10. there are few differences between the S1 and S2 R33gtst. - Bonnet is diifferent: More squarish, has the lip. - The "curve" of the headlights are different, not just the shape: s1 stick/curve out further than the s2. - The bar is also different, as it follows the curve of the lights (ie: if you put a s2 bar on a s1, the bar tucks under the headlight; and vis-versa)
  11. My bad.......sorry misread the initial question.
  12. Are you sure you'd want to change the grill and bonnet, just to fit S3 GTR lights? Not to mention that the headlights may not line up properly with the std s2 gtst bar. The conversion is alot more easily done on a S1 gtst.
  13. Paul you can get a stock turbo to make anywhere between 190-210rwkw. l0WRB is making 215rwkw with full boost (19psi) at 4500rpm, with boost starting to come on strong at 4000rpm, on a kkr480 turbo. The extra 5-20rwkw will not be enough to catch up in a 1/4 mile drag.
  14. That's the first time i've heard that. Don't think it's correct.
  15. Probably not: No reg I can't believe this hasn't been swept up yet If i hadn't spent thousands on my gtst, i would have snapped this up in a blink. Good luck with the sale mate!
  16. Ah sorry you like doing the "loser drive-by". When the other guy thinks the race is finished and backs off, your kkr finally comes on boost and you eventually scream past.
  17. Something just doesn't add up: The engine only made 250rwkw, using a GT35R turbo@18psi + manifold + MSD igniter. Doesn't sound right or good As previous examples have shown, that set up "should" make about 350rwkw@18psi. Do you have any dyno graphs?
  18. maybe if it was a 1/2 mile drag, instead of a 1/4
  19. Hey Mike, GOR is way over rated. Yes for picturesque/scenic routes GOR is probably best in VIC. If you want a good driving road the refton-black spur- kinglake run is tops, by the end off the day you'll be sick of driving through twisties Join SAU VIC and come out with us for a few cruises, events, etc.
  20. Thanks mate
  21. well if you really feel that way, passenger laps are always GREAT!!
  22. agreed...............all of it
  23. So why did you get rid of the slide high-flow?
  24. So that you'll restrict air-flow to the core? Some people want to do things for practical reasons, not just to rice it up
