Correction: You are right. His original engine did use the rb30, but i know he has redone the engine since then and he may have changed his setup. As you know Ben likes to keep his secrets

Yep, they fit like above. Perfect.............. no gaps

Just received mine today and it is GREAT!! Needs a little adjusting on one mounting hole (minor), but the quality of the mold is good, VERY HAPPY. You may need to wait for the next batch, early next year, as he told me mine was the last one. Hesh: PM him (Shane) as he always replied to my PM's ie: Use Eug's link: scroll down to the very bottom of the page, on the L.H.S. you'll see a link "Send Message"

Rumors are that prices at Heathcote will be increasing soon Not sure if they're hiring Troy; But with your CAMS scrutineering cert you'll have no probs getting in; as most have no qualifications at all. Well at the last Calder meet, they only had 44 competitors, for the whole night (that includes the comp cars); usually on a nice Friday night they have about 180 competitors. So if you compete now you'll have all the runs you desire.

Driftfest 2007 - December 16 At Calder Park Raceway - Promoters Wanted
Al replied to DriftFest's topic in Archived Events
Hahahahaha: the battle for RB30DET supremacy But mines only got a "small" turbo on it; i need response for motorkahna days -
What ever bolts on to your std turbo will bolt directly onto the HKS kit; except for water/oil lines, which are provided in the kit and replace your standard lines. The turbo manual shows the GTRS turbo fitted to the std airbox, std SMIC, std manifold and even the std exhaust. I assume you have already replaced the std exhaust and the SMIC with a FMIC, to fit the std turbo; so these parts will fit the GTRS.

Need A Good Place/person To Cut & Polish (wax) My Car.

Mav = Mavric (Matt) Just drop a PM to Mavric Car still has no engine, will not be finished till next year. -
That's right! The people that gave a shit about the place and tried to push to make it better got sacked or was pushed to resign. All because Bob has lost the plot and is listening to the one lying bitch that is going to fark up the place big time. My mate (Malcolm, for those who know him) was in charge of "track hire", he had managed to book Calder out every weekend in 2008 and most weekdays, with a few major events that would not have happened without his and Russel's (previous manager) hard work. One bitch wanted the top job and took down anyone that wasn't on her side. Well she now has the top job, but all i hear from current staff and Calder clients, is that the place is a mess with a massive lack of planning/organization/etc. Hell even the manager at Adelaide International Raceway (AIR) resigned, due to Bob listening to this bitch.

But hell lets ignore all the restrictions, weight penalties, etc, placed on the GTR, to try and make the field more competitive Honestly: I love those cars too

Driftfest 2007 - December 16 At Calder Park Raceway - Promoters Wanted
Al replied to DriftFest's topic in Archived Events
Meaning what? It's a show car and one that has been done properly. Not like most these try hards that pay the $120 entry fee to Autosalon, to enter a "standard" car, or a hack job, then brag to their mates that they have a "show car".................pffft. Tai is obviously into the show scene, and he has presented a car that is worthy of winning awards. Not everyone wants to be a "boyracer". The amount of time, money, effort and stress Tai has put into his car is commendable. Look at my car, i probably have spent as much money as Tai, but it still looks stockish; apart from the body colour. That's because i am more interested in motorsport, performance, handling, etc. The driveline and suspension is were most my money has been pumped into. But i still like to have a neatly presented car, so i have added some "show style" aspects that interest me; pearl red paint job, 19" rims, detailed engine bay, etc. At a show, Tai would kick my ass , as that's what his car has been designed/built for, it is fully customized to attract attention. On the track/motorkahna/twisties though, i'll have the upper hand . -
Now you release it
-
Unless it's an rb26, Ben is just not interested . I would talk to Rob @ Sabbadin Or if you don't mind the travel, EAS Performance (Airport West) are currently doing my rb30det conversion, using a worked r33, rb25 head (cams, porting, adj IN and OUT cam gears <while still keeping the VCT operational>)

I thought the day was OK, but i only stayed for a few hours . Congrates Tai!!! Great talking to you buddy, car looked even better outside, than it did at the AutoSalon. The amount of work done to that car is mind blowing, good to hear that you are being awarded for your hard work and efforts. Well keep the F1 AutoSalon in mind for 2008, i hope to see you there, and with any luck i'll be there with my car -
My mate have the genuine Ganador mirrors, on his R33 GTST, and they fit perfectly. Unfortuneately no pics of the car with the mirrors, buy you wont be disappointed with the genuine Ganador mirrors. If you want PM Babia (real name: Nikki) and ask him to if he has any pics. He is very busy with work, but may have a spare minute to send you a pic. Any chance of a pic of your current copy/fake mirrors?

2 And 4 Door R33 Bootlids The Same?
Al replied to XJ40's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Definitely NOT the same -
Can you retype that, as i can't understand what you have written? From what i have made out: You can not have your catch can feed into your intercooler piping, as you'll be pressurizing the system. The "venting hose", coming out your catch can, should vent into the turbo intake pipe (the pipe between your filter and turbo) or vent into atmo (illegal, but commonly done). What do you mean by saying "PVC is blocked off"? Some good pics would also help us determine whether your catch can is installed incorrectly. I have seen people attempt to install these themselves and do it wrong. If you pressurize the "system", you'll be forcing oil through the piston rings, seals, etc., thus causing oil to be burnt (hence the white smoke) and possibly causing damage to the engine.

HKS have turbo kits available for RB25, some are designed to directly replace the std turbo; thus retaining all other add-ons you currently have connected to the turbo. I have used a HKS GTRS kit and personally think it's the best turbo kit for the 25. Perfect compromise between lag, response, peak power, etc.

Happy B'day Ash! Hope you had a GREAT night!! If you didn't, don't worry your probably couldn't remember it anyway; you looked pretty trashed when i left

Need A Good Place/person To Cut & Polish (wax) My Car.
Al replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Victoria
So you're saying you could do a better job yourself than taking it to a proper professional? If you take your car to that place, mentioned above, they must do a shit job; as you're claiming you'll do a better job yourself . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The best is: Final Inspection 95-101 Brunswick Road, Brunswick, VICTORIA 3056 (03) 9387 8008 [email protected] But quality costs, so don't expect it to be cheap, but his work is well worth the price. Another person to consider would be Matt (Mavric on these forums). He has been doing a great job on a few cars lately, he even details the exotic cars, Lambo's, Ferrari's, etc, at the P1 club. -
Keep an eye out on the top of the page, for the "sticky", in the EVENTS section (Skylines Australia > Skylines Australia > Victoria > Events). Topic should be titled something like: "2008 Sau Vic Events Calendar, All 2008 SAU-VIC Club Events by month" Looking at the previous years; there may be a Calder Track day/night, in January; and a DECA Motorkahna, in February.

I really don't think it is currently that bad; but understand where you're coming from
