    Was Thinking...

If you're thinking about a GTR, then don't bother spending money on a GTST. I lover my rear wheel drive GTST, that's why i kept spending money on it .
  3. Done Oops forgot you where female; buddy just doesn't sound right, when referring to a female, sorry.
  4. Provided you don't have to "trim" the reo or any structural metal; 100% legal. But then i guess he could turn around and say: "You need a cert to prove that the fmic will NOT affect the airbag sensors"
  5. 10 points to Mr Einstein!
  6. Spewin' i couldn't come
  7. PM Mavric (Matt). He had to get an engineer's cert after Petit pulled him over; but his is a S1 (no air bag).

    Exhaust

Hey Ryan and Jarryd, Dave (Silva33) has just purchased a Stagea and his exhaust is super quite; but has a nice note at WOT. Drop him a PM and ask if he knows what type of exhaust it is.
  9. Well my memory didn't fail me this week My mechanic gets his custom cables through Speedscrene, link below: Speedscrene Homepage
  10. Sorry no idea; i leave those details to my mechanic I probably wont see him till Friday, and by that time i'll probably forget to ask Nice looking engine bay!
  11. Order a custom length cable. Will be doing it with my GReddy plenum and Q45 tb. But i have seen others with std tb and adaptor plate also need a custom cable.
  12. Good luck finding someone now, with only 2 weeks before Christmas/New Year closure, most w/shops will be FLAT out If RE is not too far from you, you can try Sabbadin Automotive, only a 2 min drive from RE.
  13. Sounds like you'll need to power up ACC and ON first, then power the START wire. The best method to determine how to tackle this problem is to use a multimeter and measure the pins on the key barrel as you turn the key from OFF to START.

    First Car - Skyline?

I remember reading a post that someone got done for power-to-weight in a 32 gtst. The cop even showed him the data base on the computer. Can't remember who it was . If you have a letter from VICroads, saying otherwise, keep it in your car and just show the cop if the problem arises. But if you have any mods on your car, as mentioned previously, this will exceed the power to weight limit.
  15. Great day, awesome group of people, and good weather; made for a fantastic BBQ/SnS. Big thanks to Min and Chris for their efforts, and the rest of the SAU committee. Only down side: My car wasn't ready to make an appearance
  16. Agreed....... 100% sure the actuator has an adjustable rod, as i had one myself. Do not waste money buying another actuator as these are great and can hold boost without any problem. Wind the rod in (make it shorter) till you have set your desired "low boost" setting, then use your EBC to achieve the "high boost" setting. I am disappointed to read that you mechanic is not aware of such basic principals Caution: Set too much preload on the actuator, and the boost will spike; set too little and boost response will be "lazy".
  17. You're living in the wrong country
  18. Nice: Approx 270rwkw. You had me confused till i noticed you first graph was "approx flywheel hp" and your 2nd graph was "rwhp"

    My R33 Drifter

Tein Super Streets may not be stiff enough for drifting. Maybe consider Tein Mono Flex, they're a little stiffer, yet still acceptable to drive on the road (on the softer settings).
  20. Pfffft.....stuff that: snow = VERY DAMN COLD!!
  21. Just did a quick search on "Sniper Racing", as watermarked in the pic, and found this for the R33 RB25 Sniper Racing (Not sure if it's just my computer, but the pics are not working for me ) But I am still considering buying one PS: Just found that two SAU Traders (GKTech and PSI Parts), are the two distributors for this company.

    First Car - Skyline?

PS: If the Police think your mods have increased power to over 125kw/tonne, they have the right to still pin you with the law and you have to prove (which you can't do) that the mods have not increased the power. ie: exhaust = over ie: more boost = over ie: bigger turbo = over

    First Car - Skyline?

In your situation, I would definitely go the R34, especially if you are concerned about the "power to weight" laws (rightfully so); as according to the Police records (ie: VICroads) the R32 GTST is OVER 125kw/tonne, therefore is illegal. Yes it's B.S. but unless you want to send $1000's in court fees, lawyers, etc., proving otherwise, you run the risk of getting done for driving an over powered car .
  24. Different dyno different result; just means that dyno reads high, alot higher
  25. So where did you buy the manifold from? Who made it? Have you test fitted it? If so; any pics? Why are you selling it? Is it stainless steel? If so; how thick are the walls of the piping? What grade stainless?
