    Need A Mechanic

    Well i have gone to EAS for 6+ years; details below. Vic and George are very thorough with their checks, just ask/PM Rekin (Pattrick), as Pat used them to check a car from a dealer and it ended up being a bucket of shit . Only a 15min drive from Taylors Lakes.

  10. sorry was editing my first post while you replied, so please review it. On a stock rb25 i think about 250-260rwkw. I sold that turbo to a guy, that goes to the same w/shop; on an std rb25NEO it made 270rwkw. BUT rb25NEOs have larger cams, solid lifters and probably some more engineering/power benefits over the R33 rb25.
  11. 550cc-600cc But that turbo will not make 300rwkw I made 277rwkw with my hi-flow rb25/VG30 combo. That included cams and extensive head porting; boost was 16psi, but higher boost settings did not make significant power increases (ie: past the efficiency range of the turbo). I am now building up a completely new engine setup (including new turbo), which should make about 300-330rwkw; i still intend to use the 550cc injectors as my mechanic's calculations have indicated that the injectors should flow enough fuel.

  15. The V4 Plus R32/33 Plug-in does have the VVT control built in. I believe your theory should work, but i am NOT a mechanic so you'll better wait for a more experienced opinion You other option is to contact AEM and ask them directly, they are always willing to help

  24. Contact Leigh from "Extreme Turbo Manifolds" Tel: (02) 4262 8774 He is currently doing mine. Had to send him my sump, oil pick-up arm, and oil pump housing. The capacity is increased to 7ltrs, the oil pick-up is relocated to ensure optimum position and is surrounded by baffles, the oil pump is modified to suck oil from the right hand side (by removing the welsh plug and inserting a fitting). I will need to block off the factory oil intake, to the pump, in the block. His manifolds are said to be top notch too
