    Metal Intake Pipes

All my fabrication work has been done at EAS Performance, details below, in my sig. In the pic you'll see the IC and intake pipes, also the airbox have all been done by EAS. He has also done intake pipes to fit the standard airbox. I'm upgrading, again, so all that work is being redone
  2. Hey Bec, hope you had a great B'day. See you on Friday

    4wd Dyno In Melb?

Good to hear Ferah. Actually spoke to Vic and George today and Vic mentioned he had a 34 GTR coming in soon. As stated, they'll take good care of the car.

    4wd Dyno In Melb?

Well EAS Performance has dropped the front shafts in many GTR's, for dyno tunning; as Ash stated only takes 10-15 mins. Vic and George will take good care of the car, as they have done mine for the last 6+ years. Details below, in my sig.
  5. When i viewed the first half of that clip, i thought "what a bunch of farken tools!!" You are on a very busy road and there were numerous dickheads, with no regard for public safety. YOU FARKEN IDIOTS!!! Not sure what the others cars did, but if this is what goes on at these "unofficial cruises" then you could stick them up you ass. Hope the cops crack down at every meet point. Note: To all the others that know how to contain themselves on public roads; sorry for the outburst, not targeted at you.
  6. Where was the manifold purchased from? Any pics? Looks like the gate is too small for that turbo, as the graph shows some boost creep. What were the engine specs to achieve that power curve? ie: rb25det/rb30det, cams, porting, pump fuel, etc? Not sure if i'd call it a bargin

  9. I'm there!!!! Hopefully with my car
  10. Another issue to consider is what ecu you plan to use. For example: At this stage in time, the Wolf V500 is not yet fully compatible with the NEO, but i know they'll be fixing that soon.
  11. As Ash (R31Nismoid) has stated; The "power to weight" law has been around for 15yrs, just wasn't really enforced due to the laughable penalties, now they have corrected that. A quick search of the VIC forum will find threads explaining these rules and also links to the VICroads website. Save your money as the judge will not change a thing. Don't listen to mates, as they will say what you want to hear, especially when they don't have a clue
  12. I still haven't seen your 33
  13. After getting a call from Malcolm, i went down to Calder Park Rwy and saw this on the track These was also pretty awesome and was making it's first "shake down" track debut.
  14. Thanks Daniel!
  15. Damn it!! Will miss this again as the SAU VIC club will be up in Shepparton, doing a motorkhana event (DECA), for the weekend. The following weekend (08/12/07) SAU VIC will also have their annual Xmas Show N' Shine/BBQ. Have a good one I know i will
  16. Will need to check if i am on call
  17. I may join the cruise from Tulla, as usual, or i may even go straight to Heathcote, not too sure what's happening yet.
  18. SAU VIC Club events for December: 1 Sat - SAU Vic Carsales DECA Motorkhana Day - Round 4 8 Sat - SAU Vic Annual Show N Shine / XMas BBQ
  19. Looked like another great cruise. One day soon i'll make an appearance.............. This is how my car looks, as of 10pm tonight. Notice it doesn't even have any coil-overs in it Bay still needs to be cleaned, high-filled, rubber back and painted. Should be back on the road around November.
  20. 25
  21. Not sure yet, still being built/assembled. RB30det, Tomei Poncams, Head-porting, Garrett GT30R, 20psi and a few other supporting mods
  22. Happy B'day Wayne!!!! I'm sure you'll be having a good one mate, all the best!
  23. Listen to the man, he's right driving all that way to get your ass whooped on and off the circuit is insane. But hey i guess VIC is "the place to be" My car will hopefully, finally, make an appearance. It may not get in the top twenty, but it will surely look good frying the tyres
  24. Sorry to say that sounds like complete BULLSHIT. Unless you are thrashing the car to the driveway, smoking the tyres till you park, 2 mins of turbo timer is MORE than enough. Hell if you drive normally for the last few minutes of your trip, then 30secs is enough. My turbo timer is set to 20sec, and unless i am competing in a motorsport event, i never increase the time and my HKS turbo has never had a problem. The only other reason of failure, is that the turbo wasn't primed/lubed before starting the engine for the first time, thus causing the bearing to heat up and score, during the initial few seconds Back to the turbo: How long did it take till you delivered the turbo, to the time you received the report. Not saying this has happened, but can you be sure those pics are from your turbo? Not saying that the company involved is responsible, it could have been an installation issue (refer above about primming), but the turbo company has specified oil contamination, so get the oil tested.
  25. Well if these turbo shops are claiming "oil contamination" as the cause of failure, i would personally send a sample of the oil to be tested. Funny how the standard turbo lasted 15yrs, with the oil passing through the same lines and i'd bet "oil contamination" wasn't the reason why it failed . Once the oil has been tested and if the results show no metal rust contamination, then i would hit the company for replacement turbo, test and fitting costs.
