    Just For Brisby

Bris was not too happy last night He wanted to kill that ref......................
  2. Not sure were you got "rb20 sucks" from, but most of us are trying to save you alot of $$$$ and keep the rb20, at least till it blows (which could be a very long time). I too considered putting an rb26 into my 33, when i blew the rb25, but that plan was quickly scrapped. The cost would have been more than building a very strong, race preped, rb30det. The rb26 conversion would have still left me with a std engine and turbos, that is prone to spinning bearings and blowing std turbos, on the race track. The end result leaving me in the same position as i started; having to pull the rb26 out again and rebuild it, which will cost another $7K minimum.
  3. Happy b'day! Wishing you all the best
  4. I totally agree with Troy (Roy) Silly move to borrow money to modify a car, that is still 100% functional, then take it to a track, with no experience, only to risk ploughing it into a wall
  5. Awesome buddy. I remember the first time i drove my 'line. Was raining like a mofo' then i stalled it coming home and had to push the car to the side of the road, as the battery decided to completely shit itself After that is was all sweet, once i replaced the battery
  6. The merge of the two threads has thrown the replies out of wack

If all other offers fail, i have a complete box and snorkel you can BORROW
  8. Damn Ryan! You would have had to change your jocks after that Glad to NOT read that you or your car had been damaged
  9. Awesome Vids and pics, looked like a great event
  10. If you're going to rebuild it anyway, why not get something better? Click here: F/S: Blown RB25
  11. I would personally go for the NEO.
  12. Is it a 600hp or 1000hp model?
  13. I totally agree......... Troy's car is simply amazing and defies logic. $400 wrecker motor, standard everything apart from bolt-on. He has been running about 230-260rwkw, using a TD-06, top mount manifold and ext.gate, for a few years and is on the limiter at every event. The engine is as strong as nails and is yet to show ANY sign of blow-by, smoke, etc. Why spend $5,000-$12,000 building up an rb20, when it is proven to be a very tough motor in std form? If something was to fail, you'd just replace it for $400 + Labour On the other hand, if you wanted more torque, off boost response, etc then the rb25det or rb30det would be the way to go. But in my opinion these aren't as strong as the rb20det, in STD form/internals; but they are both very strong in there own rights. That's what Troy has been deciding for the last few years: Spend a shit load of money, just to basically have more torque (maybe power) or Keep the rb20 std and replace it for approx $400 IF it ever lets go
  14. Great.................another tool on the roads
  15. I'll definitely be interested, provided it doesn't clash with anything else.
  16. Yes, heaps better. On my last track outing the maximum water temp i saw was about 93deg. Considering i saw about 106deg previously, before fitting my JJR, i am pretty happy. Both reads taken off my Wolf3D hand-controller.
  17. I hope to still make it, unless my mate needs a hand with my car.
  18. We should try and get them down to our Show n' Shine in December
  19. I have been waiting to go to Tassie for years. The original plan was to go with Shivam, but his car never made it to the road. Then Nikki and i have been discussing it for the last few years, but our time tables clashed or either car was off the road. DARE I SAY IT: I AM IN! I selected Feb. Tas. always a little cooler than the mainland (approx. 4deg), and late summer will still have some great weather. Wouldn't want to do it too late, as the mountains do get snow in winter and the risk of hitting black ice is higher.
  20. If you still want the factory inserts PM Silva33, he may still have them.
  21. How stupid is that; they display footage of such crimes on National TV, but will not allow the victim to view a pic to determine whether you know them or not.
  22. Have they viewed the surveillance videos/photos? Have they allowed you to view these vids/pics to determine whether you know them or not? Have you just recently pissed off someone previously close to you? Sorry to hear of your misfortune
  23. Doesn't show how bright it is??? Looks to me like you can get sunburnt just looking at it Looks tops, can't wait for the finished result.
  24. Contact Nikki (Username: Babia) he will be selling his Pfc (with hand controller) soon.
  25. Try and source a set of 32GTR wheels. If you have a genuine Stagea 260rs Autech, why can't you pass with the 33GTR wheels, as they are factory fitment. If the inspector doesn't know what Autech is, just explain that Autech is to Nissan, what HSV is to Holden and what FPV is to Ford. Also the tyre placard will show that the car is engineered to have 33GTR wheel.
