  1. I definitely wont make it Car will probably still be at the painter, in two weeks, getting the engine bay sorted. Hopefully the engine will be fully assembled and waiting for the car's return, then the fabrications start.

    Tommy Kaira Bodykit

So now you're buying another 34?
  3. Basically: the stiffness of the coil-overs.
  4. Where these fitted to a Skyline? If so; what model? Any pics? Are the spacers required on a Skyline? If so; why are the spacers required? Do the rims hit the calipers, or the coil-overs or is there another reason? I am very interested in these rims
  5. When you say "bored out 2.6L" how much oversized is the piston; 20thou, 40thou?
  6. No probs Brentton, glad to hear they're working great.
  7. I'm out............................again Car went to my mate's place today, but wont be ready for approx. 3 weeks, leaving next to no time for all the other stuff. I can not justify the trip, financially, when i wont be entering the track days. So i'll just re-organize my work leave and see if i'll do a Tassie trip early next year.

    Happy Birthday Joel

Happy B'day Joel, all the best!
  9. I would say your best bet for accommodation would be Bendigo. It's still a 45min drive, but at least it is a major town/city.
  10. Hey Berin, I need a definite answer on how many beds, at the moment i have two available.
  11. Damn, that's farken crap! If the person tried to increase the limit over the counter AND FAILED, why didn't they confiscate the card. I'm with the CBA too
  12. Well that farks up everything, Mal will be O/S in May/June
  13. Not sure where mine is but i booked Room 22
  14. Either way, i think i may still come and if i do i'll bring the work ute/Hilux so i'll have plenty room for tyres, tools, etc. PROVIDED: I have at least one passenger to keep me company on the trip and possibly share the driving
  15. hahahaha........... Funny you mentioned that. I asked my boss this morning if my new company HILUX is covered by insurance should i be towing for personal use . He said that he isn't sure and will have to check with the insurance company, so there is still hope. Whether the car will be finished is still not 100% - Engine out today (hopefully) - engine bay/car stripped by Friday - hopefully Jack picks up car and delivers to my mate's place, on Friday - Mate, preps and paints bay (1 week, two weeks, don't know: he has a full time job and is doing this on the side). - In the meantime: EAS assemble complete engine with plenum, turbo, manifold, etc. - Car goes back to EAS Perfomance - All parts get fitted - Engine in - Fabrication of various other parts - Car taken to exhaust shop - Powder coating of certain components - final assembly - Light tune - Bedding in engine (1000km) - Service and full tune.
  16. IF my car is ready, i'll be very keen; as i am sure to miss the SAU Vs WRX day on the 6/10 But still have alot more to do...........
  17. Security there are dip shits. Tried to hurry us along on our last meet there and took down all car number plates; Who knows why..........maybe it was as exciting as his job gets
  18. Trust me Geoff is no typical Victorian
  19. Put me down as a MAYBE! Car may or may not be ready in time
  20. I'm starting to re-consider whether a NSW trip is a smart idea on the car's debut. Car "should" be ready and fully tuned by end of October, then has to go to Centreline, which doesn't leave much testing time and i'd hate for anything to go wrong 800km from home.
  21. So what is this coating? what does it do? and what happens if it is removed?
  22. If you have Shannons insuance, they cover one free windscreen per year.
