He is saying make sure you order the GTR ecu. If you order the universal ecu, the Wolf V500 will not run the 4wd system. Even though all the V500's look the same externally, the software for the "plug n' plays" is changed, to control that car's particular features.

I wouldn't classify any of the cars above to be a Skyline tow vehicle. At the end of the day a Skyline is a heavy'ish car, add a trailor, wheels, tools, etc you're looking at about 2400kg of towing weight. I would at least get an XR8 or maybe consider a large 4WD.

I intend to have the rev limiter, on the rb30det, set to 8000rpm but this all depends on the dyno graph. I am using a GT3076 (GT30R) turbo, which is actually the smallest recommended turbo for my engine, so if the power dips well before 8000rpm there is obviously no point in reving the engine that hard. So why does a lightened flywheel cause more vibrations than a std one? Does it still have an effect if it is balanced?

Can someone answer the above question? I don't think i'll need/want to go above 350rwkw, as my car is set up for motorkhanas and the occasional track, so 350rwkw is probably already too much for a RWD car .

My rb30det will have a GT3076 hanging off the side. With all my performance parts, i am looking at anything between 300-330rwkw. The 600hp balancer is more than enough, and i wouldn't be surprised if the balancers are "underrated" to ensure a minimum of 600hp capacity. Also i am sure that if people are able to run big HP figures using the std balancer, then even if i exceed over 600hp, the ATI balancer would still perform better than the factory one; Or would other problems (unknown to myself) occur ?? If i assume a 20% drivetain loss: (Is this too low an assumption?) 600hp x 0.73 = 438kw (at the crank) 438kw x 0.80 = 350.4rwkw

There is a 600hp ATI balancer, which is obviously cheaper than the 1000hp. I paid about $600 for my ATI 600hp balancer, as i do not intend to make more than 350rwkw on my car.

Are you sure auto's use a 3.9. I am very interested as i may need to do this to my car and have discussed changing diff ratios with my mechanic, i just don't know where i could get 3.9:1 ratios for a R33 GTST diff.
