  1. Happy B'day buddy!!! Hope you had a great day and a better night
  2. Hey Wayne, lets call NSW RTA and push 'em to do a huge import blitz, that way you'll be in with a better chance to enter DECA Don't mess with the MEX's!!!!: we play dirty
  3. shit, i could have sworn there was a caster adjustment.
  4. 340mm from center of rim to guard is NOT low, so something is playing up. As you stated b4, get a suspension check and see what the results are. Get the adjustment bushes and ensure no other bushes are badly worn. I know on a 33 there is no front factory camber adjustment, but caster and toe should be adjustable. Toe, at front, should be 0, in my opinion and caster should be the same from left to right. The guys you went to obviously have no idea .
  5. Once my car is back up and running i will gladly give you a hand Daniel. Keep these cruises coming, hopefully i will see you all before summer .
  6. That run looked and sounded sooo freaken awesome!! Glad to see all your hard work paying off and the car working beyond expectations. Well done!; to you and your team
  7. Not sure what you are talking about, typing in English would help alot, and not sure what you are asking help for. A more detailed explanation of what you did, what happened, and if the car is currently working, would help. Please use English and leave the sms jibberish for the mobile, you don't have a character limit to you post/replies, on the net.
  8. Sorry Jack honestly no offense intended. Good to here that it still gets weekend duties . But this is what makes your car sooo awesome. Full trim, no cage, no weight reduction, weekend driven, yet still one of VICs fastest track cars; nothing ordinary about that buddy. What more can you ask for? You know how much i love your car Jack, and the endless questions i ask every time is see ya PS: i will need your services in the next few weeks, to transport my car from EAS to my mates house. Getting the engine bay painted while Vic assembles the rb30det. Will keep in touch.
  9. Hope you're wearing your logistics cap
  10. Wait for a SAU or club "dyno day" Just saw this thread for the first time VERY impressive and a nice selection of mods. I too have a HKS GTRS kit; but running Tomei Poncams, head porting, std plenum and std bottom end. My a/f ratios were kept at approx. 11.5:1, to keep the engine "safe". Running 18psi i made 268.2rwkw, but your response is WAY more impressive. Could be due to the plenum, cams, fmic (i was using a truck core), but most probably to the fresh rebuild. The engine has since blown, while i was at a race track (cyl #3 dropped compression), and i have decided to build an rb2530, which means upgrading the turbo, again. I guess i will never know what the GTRS's true potential is, but yours demonstrates it clearly. Well done mate, an excellent build and it would feel awesome to drive. Below is a comparison between our two graphs, you will be happy: For my new engine i have bought a new GReddy plenum, XTR 100mm fmic, Garrett GT30R turbo 500hp (smallest recommended turbo), ATI balancer and a whole lot of other parts. Unfortunately it takes my mechanic a lot longer than 3 weeks to build an engine, but we'll get there. All the best and enjoy

    Finally!

Great, can't wait to see that beast on the road again. We need our club esky back
  12. Never claimed to have built an engine John. I'll let you sort out the details with the original owner, that's if you are on speaking terms . Your reaction has just justified what i have claimed; anyone that throws a hissy fit that quickly really wants to hide something. John here's a tip champ: grow up, it helps in life
  13. I was thinking the same thing

    Finally!

    HR31 GTS-R

    Finally!

Great to see Ash! Any full car pics? Is this the last stage before car is ready to see the road full time?
  16. Well that's what i am saying though......... With such a low boost setting, on an aftermarket turbo, you will not be using the turbo's potential. To make 250rwkw@8psi and using an external wastegate only tells me that he has a biggish turbo (500+hp). No point being happy with 250rwkw when you can't use it, unless you're on the limiter; and when there is so much left in the setup. On a side note: Are you saying that the more boost you run in the same turbo the more responsive it is? Is that true? I would have thought that the response would be the same till 8psi, then the engine just doesn't make as much power, follows the same line but at lower power .
  17. Tell you the truth i am far from impressed from that dyno graph. Sure you made 252kw, but it's at the end of the rev range at a short peak burst, ok for dyno comps where only peak power matters, but shit for street driving and other events. I much prefer a "fatter" graph, one that has more usable power, this is were a ball/roller bearing turbo has it's advantages, as it spools up faster. Your result also depends on the size of your turbo as if it is a big turbo, i would assume 8psi is not even tickling it's efficiency range. Get some bigger injectors, change the w/g spring to 14psi, retune the ecu and see what happens A graph of you boost response will help clear things up. Here is a graph comparison between our cars, neglecting what people have stated about "hub dyno's read higher, etc...". Also keep in mind i am using 18psi on a 380hp turbo
  18. As if yours isn't a race car!! Just because it looks "awesome" and is "occasionally" driven on the street, doesn't mean it is not one of VIC's fastest track Skylines. c'mon post a few pics, or vids: You deserve to, and i know you want to!!!
  19. Who did you go to? Is that their final results, did they try to adjust the setting to get left and right even/equal?
  20. Great to hear mate! Hope it all pans out for you.
  21. Hi flow turbo in Melbourne, i recommend ATP. There are plenty of w/shops that can install it for you, all depends where you live. If you want to remap your factory ecu, i believe DR. Drift is the only one that can do it. If you want to install/tune an aftermarket ecu, once again, plenty in Melb that will do it.
  22. That still doesn't mean i am wrong The original PANIC had one N, i could post full details at a later date if you want.
  23. That's some serious boost/NOS Can't wait to see the full run!
  24. i'll take a XXL
  25. I know from good authority, that John did NOT build pannic, even though he likes to claim he did
