  1. Congrats Snowy and Tara, great news!!
  2. I agree with Troy (Roy). If you are confident in your mechanic's abilities, then it is better to get it all done at the same place. Service, tune, upgrades, rebuild, etc; if it's all done by the one w/shop, then they know what is done to the car, how you drive it, and how well you maintain it. If you keep switching w/shops, and something goes wrong, then they'll point the finger at the work done by the other shop. I have stuck with EAS for 6yrs, my ecu choice was based on what EAS where comfortable tunning, all upgrades and fabrications were completed by EAS and i couldn't be happier with their quality of work. After 6yrs of subtle abuse on track days, cruises and Motokhanas and making double the factory power, my engine gave up after a track session at Calder Park. So now EAS are building me a new engine, that will handle the abuse. Over the 6yrs with EAS i have seen plenty of strong engines leave the w/shop. Some people have different opinions on different w/shops, at the end of the day, you just got to filter out all the BS. There is no doubt Racepace has the best reputation for RB engines, and rightfully so, but i personally believe there are other w/shops in VIC that can also build, strong reliable RB engines. Also someone mentioned that some w/shops will not tell you all the details/secrets of the engine build; this is so true. Why should someone reveal all they secrets that make their engines strong and reliable. This is their living, their bread and butter, so they'll just tell you the basics.
  3. Hey Kev, I have to withdraw Just got the block back today, and the likelihood of my mechanic assembling, fitting and fabricating by the end of the month is extremely slim. Sorry Alan
  4. It's not too difficult just need to have a bit of patients Read the following threads, the procedure has been outlined: - Light Up SKYLINE sign - Illuminated SKYLINE
  5. Have you got an "Air Purifier" ? I know the 32's and 33's had them as options, so i assume the 34 may be the same. Not a bad guess for a guy with a 33
  6. I actually use my rear wiper (be it rarely) and have no intension to remove it But i'll go one better: My rear "SKYLINE" panel lights up
  7. You can't see it in the pic, but i do have a 3rd brake light on top of my rear windscreen
  8. So just like mine.
  9. can you post a pic?
  10. aisle 10, third shelf, on the left. If you need bigger balls their in aisle 4
  11. Stealth wing is much better than no wing, but even the stealth wings are getting too common, i also have one. Keep the S2 wing and fit a genuine Nissan R33 boot lip, under it. My mate fitted mine to his car with a S2 wing, it looked PHAT! Unfortunately i have no pictures of his car, with the wing, as it was only done recently. Here is an OLD pic of my car with the boot lip:

    Hey Guys

Hey guys good to hear from you two again. You must be thrilled with the power, 350awkw will hurtle the 32 like a rocket. Well done and hope to catch up soon.
  13. V4 is when the Wolf 3D became decent and alot more stable. The leap between V3 to V4 was absolutely huge and the new V500 just as big. For $800 installed and fitted i wouldn't really bother. All depends what you want from the car. If you want a reliable, smooth cold start/idle/tune the V3 is probably a little too primitive. I am about to upgrade to a V500 (from a V4) as the features and stability on the 500 are greatly improved. Have a good chat to the people that tune the Wolf ecu's, as they are the ones that will be able to give you a better opinion. Here is a link to all the authorized dealers/tuners; just keep double clicking in the area you want to zoom into. Wolf 3D Dealers/Tuners
  14. V3 geezus are they still around? Talk about pre-historic tunning.
  15. NOW YOU DECIDE TO SELL THEM
  16. Fair enough. I just bought a GT30R for my 25/30, as i like the response for motokhanas. But i just recently saw a graph of a 25/30 with a GT35R and i am starting to doubt my decision . I someone (*cough* Joel *cough*) pulled his finger out, fitted their GT30R and posted the results, it may put my mind at ease . Does anyone have a dyno graph of a rb25/30 fitted with a GT30R? (Michael maybe?)
  17. That would be Adzmax
  18. With any hi-flow you'll be choking the engine at about 5500rpm and the power will drop rapidly; as the turbo can not flow enough gases. Just letting you know, in case you wanted to rev the engine to 7500rpm .
  19. Hahahaha................true. I reckon they look great and suit the 34's nicely. But they go to waste on Pete's car, as you'll never see them through the clouds of smoke coming off the tyres.
  20. $15K for an auto, that's probably basically stock, is laughable It's probably only worth $10-11K, that's if it is in good condition. Hope your "mate" isn't trying to rip you off . Personally i think those rims and kit are hideous.
  21. Agreed. I think snowy is just jealous Yet again, the very same cars have stickers all over them, and look what we think of that on street cars
  22. Shinny Not a fan of the nose extension lip, but everything else is ace , especially the tail lights.
  23. Hey Geoff: Thanks mate, but i would prefer one that is a1 condition and hassle free. How are you going in sunny Qld? Hope all is as expected. Owgasm: As stated in first post and "bump" post, i am after a rb26 or a rb25neo rail. So yes i can use a rb26 rail. If you have one for sale that would be great.
  24. Does anyone know the difference between the Mitsu alternator and the Hitachi alterator?
  25. As stated previously, i have already purchased an ATI balancer. I came across a thread that discussed GReddy pulleys and thought they may come in handy if they are able to be fitted to the rb25 p/s and a/c pumps. So i went to Nengun to see how much these GReddy pulleys where, and stumbled across a HKS balancer that i reckon is actually the ATI balancer (Nengun Link - CLICK HERE). What do you guys think? Now reading the Nengun description got me a little concerned: The Mitsu alternator only came out on the S3 R33 GTRs and above. I would like to know what is the difference between the Mitsu alternators and the Hitachi units? As the GReddy pulley kits also distinguish between the two makes.
