  1. I personally think the the pulley has been pressed to far in. A few shims behind the pulley, to align the belt dead straight should fix the problem.
  2. Not to mention that a standard Gtst without a turbo, will be utterly shit to drive, and alot slower than a standard Gts. Sell it, use the money to buy a GTS and a nice set of rims.
  3. OK time to bump this up again. Since i no longer have those PM's, i am once again chasing the rail, as i now have a GReddy plenum. As stated previously: Thanks Alan

    Dyno In Shep?

:laughing-smiley-014: GOLD............... because we all know he'll be doin' Shep laps
  5. Excellent footage Wayne, awesomely smooth driving 2 clips, both show you over taking Matt; Is there something you're trying to tell us?
  6. Top effort
  7. I will ask my mechanic on how he intends to adapt the ATI RB26 balancer, in regards to a/c and p/s from the rb25. I know he went through Rocket Industries, for the ATI balancer. I may have gotten a good price, or maybe i didn't, i'm not sure. RB120WHY: Fair point. Hopefully i didn't sound to offensive with my comments
  8. Hope all had a safe and great track day. I will be joining the fun soon. Yet another weekend on the rental, but hopefully the last.
  9. 3M automotive double-sided tape. As used by Ford and other automotive manufacturers and panel shops, to stick body kit etc. to cars. I have a mate what stuck my old boot lip to his car using just this tape and it shows no sign of coming off. I bought a role to fix my rear pods, but have almost finished it on other people's cars . I am due to buy a new role, so if you want, we can go halves, i'll help you fit the facia and keep the remaining tape, it's only about $15 if i remember right.
  10. Sure does....... forgot to mention that, mainly because my mechanic will sort it out Not too sure if i'm correct here; the rb26 balancer runs a different type of belt (Slotted Vs V-grove), but my mechanic has already found a solution. ATI rb26 1000hp = approx $1100 retail ATI rb26 600hp = $580: That is the price i paid through my mechanic. The 600hp will well exceed my needs, as it can support about 400rwkw, and i am hoping to get about 300ish rwkw, using a GT30R (0.82)
  11. I use to be of the same opinion, but i have been advised otherwise by various people. Let it warm for 20sec, then drive easily/slowly for 5-10mins
  12. From what i have been told: "ATI balancer = work of art" So i bought one and my engine machinist and mechanic agree. I am also fitting a H.E. Racing, 8.5ltr, baffled sump. Shouldn't have any issues with fitment, but i am a long way off from that stage, so can't really comment at this stage.
  13. Absolutely awesome!!! Can't wait for the updates.
  14. SeriesII you should have revived the old "GTS Badge" thread
  15. Drop the exhaust, just before the cat, and see if the creep goes away. If the creep goes, something in the exhaust maybe restricting flow. Check also for any air leaks to the actuator.
  16. Hahahahaha............. Just impatient Excited to see the potential of my combo, once complete.
  17. Speaking of which......... Joel, any progress yet ?
  18. What's the point??? A GT35R (0.63) will produce similar results as a GT30R (0.82). I would personally go with the gt30r, with the 0.82 housing, as it would give a broader range of power. You may find that the 0.63 housing will choke the rb30, higher up in the rev range, causing the power to drop dramatically. Even a GT35R (0.82) would be a great combo on a rb30det/t
  19. Sorry to read Phill I too hit a wall at Calder, it's not fun, but the car comes back better than ever Damaged: Repaired:
  20. Yep; i'm in
  21. Mizzi: Sensational Nicely kitted and not over the top, well done mate. As i like to do some motorsport events, i prefer the factory plastic bumpers (for the occasions i hit a witches hat at 80+ km/h); but if i was to kit my car, it would be very similar to yours. I live in Delahey, so hopefully i'll see you one day. My car is currently (for the last 4 months and counting) getting an engine build/conversion so i'm off the road. But once it's finished i'll update my pics in this thread. Have a few cosmetic and engine bay changes in progress
  22. The solid colour looks heaps better than ANY 2-tone colour combo, i've seen on the Veyron
