Found some pics In the second pic; look at the top left corner

See where your finger is, about 30mm to the right (near the bend for the cross over pipe) there are two brass pipes (you can only see one in the pic) attached to the cross over pipe. I am pretty sure the hose attaches to the lower pipe. Then attaches to the plenum at the other end of the brass pipe. Yours has been modified for some reason, not sure why.

THANKS for the offer Shane!! Really appreciate it. I only have two electrical components to repair (IXL light switch and front sensor light) and i'll probably be able to do it myself, as i have done similar things previously. If i get stuck, i'll drop you a PM, if you don't mind. When leasing privately the law is against you. Due to privacy laws you have no access to all available information, like previous rental history, etc; unless you pay a couple hundred bucks and are willing to wait about 4 weeks for the report, by which time the potential tenant has moved on . An agency can go online and do a history check immediately. I followed up her references, and even called her workplace. With regards to a referral from a previous landlord, at the end of the day you could be talking to her mum or sister, for all you know.

I have Friday off (my 30th b'day day ), so at this stage i am not sure what time i'll go up. I also have a few mates coming up too, so i'll need to see if we go up together or i'll meet them there.

Thanks Sarah. It's good to have the house back, but my brother and I are out of pocket at least $3K each. On the up side, our new real estate agent has said she has an old couple that are interested in renting it. They apparently had a look at the property (from the pavement) and are interested to view it once work has been completed.

Yep..........Shall i put you down for Fri and Sat?

What Is This Thing On My Keyring?
Al replied to WazR32GTSt's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Correct me if i'm wrong: If you remove that item from your keyring and leave it somewhere or loose it, your car wont start. -
Insurance only covers malicious damage, everything else (neglect, filth, "accidental" damage [their discretion], etc) is not covered and is deemed a "bond" issue. Hard to explain in writing: some of the damage done by tenants is not necessarily "malicious damage", but damaged none the less and the bond is supposed to cover this (eg: broken cloths line, torn fly screens (by pets), broken lights/switches, etc.). I wonder if i could find a potential tenant who is willing to pay a $4000 bond (for a $950/month rental property), it's just not possible . Lost rent was described in the insurance booklet, but it did not state that it is an option that must be stated upon taking up the policy, nor was i asked if i wanted it when we signed up. So we thought that everything in the "Landlords Insurance" booklet was covered. To be honest, apart from the "lost rent" issue, the insurance has been pretty good, as they agreed to cover the costs to replace all the carpet and repaint the whole house (internally). They could have easily been tight and stated that the lounge carpet would be replaced and the bedrooms would only be cleaned, also not all walls had holes and the insurance could have covered just the affected walls.

Finally got possession of the property about 1.5 weeks ago. The inside has been trashed to the value of $12,000 (Only $8300 covered by insurance) We're $2500 down in lost rent (just found out not covered by our insurance policy) Now doing the big clean up and repair, so still loosing rent. The courts must have forgotten the meaning of justice when writing the residential laws But this bitch hasn't heard the last of me yet, i assure you

I'll wait till it's on DVD or maybe TV, doesn't look like anything special.

Nice of them to avoid an honest question

Background information: I have just recently fitted a set of Australian delivered Tein-Super Streets to my R33 GTST. I asked my suspension specialist to make the ride hight (from hub to arch) 350mm front and 340mm rear. Upon arriving at home i checked the heights to find both front clearances at 340mm. Rang the w/shop and he is happy to reset the heights again, even though he was sure he had set the suspension to the right height, as he remeasured it after a test drive. Question: Tonight i test fitted a set of rims and noticed that the height adjustment nuts are near the top, and if i want to gain an extra 10mm clearance the nuts are going to be at the very top, if i don't run out of thread first. Can someone (that has Tein-SS's fitted to their R33 GTST) please measure the height of their car, at the front wheels, from center of hub to wheel arch, then look to see how much more thread they have above their adjustment nuts, on the coil overs. Alan

Forget window tinting as well, get it done afterwards as they'll get some cheap shit stuff, and claim its worth $570. Genuine options like mats, cruise, electrics, factory spoiler kit, etc are the options you want to bargain for.

ME TOO, PLEASE!!

From the replies in this thread; i take it, this event is NOT a CAMS event? Just asking........ The possibility of me coming are diminishing as each day goes past. May have to leave it till the next one.

17x9" Ssr Xrv Longchamp Rims
Al replied to candy33's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Thanks buddy, yet to fit on the car, but if they cleared your brembos they should clear mine Hope to hear from you soon. -
Just know, that a afm that is playing around will cause different faults. Just because you heard one that was farked, doesn't mean all do the same thing. Your afm could be slightly worn, thus still working but not properly, and may be sending wrong signals to the ecu. I don't know, just saying don't strike it out as a possibility.

Just a general, off topic, question. Are ppl more likely to get fined during the day or at night. Just would like to know, as i plan to have a solo extended "cruise", through the hills, to bed my engine in.
-
What ecu are you running? (sorry if you already stated this) Looks like you have a VERY rich idle or even "start-up" that is fouling the plugs. Could also be O2 sensor, afm, afm plug/loom, wrong spark plugs, wrong spark plug gap (try 0.8mm), maybe even coils.

Thanks buddy. Only had it like that for about 5000km before my std bottom end gave up after a track day (low compression in #3: 83psi) . But car is only used on weekends(sometimes) and events. Done a couple of motokhanas, cruises and one track day, then oil out the new B&M pod . But i do drive it hard at these events . Now rb30det, with GT30R(500hp) (gt-rs too small for the rb30), greddy plenum and a few extra goodies. Only going for about 280-300rwkw, but will hit full boost (20psi) by about 3300rpm and make power till the 8000rpm rev limit The GT30R was the smallest recommended turbo for this setup.
-
STOP!!!!!!!! What are you doing man?!?! Get the ecu first, before the turbo, and run about 12psi on the std turbo. The ecu will unlock soooo much torque and power, it will feel like a new turbo It was one of my best upgrades, second only to the turbo, which should be done after the ecu. You'll also need a new, bigger, fuel pump when you get the turbo; possibly before hand, depending how good/worn your std one is.
