    Mt Buller - Wrap Up

  4. Firstly would like to give Hamish the biggest THANKS for taking the huge amount of time to organise the cruise on his own. You truly out did yourself buddy and everyone that came had the most awesome time. In my opinion this cruise tops the GOR overnighter. I am not saying i wont go to GOR anymore, but i will look forward to this cruise more than the GOR, so i really hope this becomes an annual event; with different catering arrangements . The only draw back was the heat and having to wait for a tow truck, in the sun, as it REALLY drain my energy, by the time i hit Buller Rd. Once i was on Buller Rd, i found that extra bit of spark to navigate those twisties; fark were they fun!!! Best bit of road i have ever driven and some of the most challenging corners. Hamish, we did alright mate . Next time round; better tyres, more front camber and we'll do better . Then the walk to the summit to watch the sun set was great too; would have been better if we weren't a little late Hamish the food was top notch man! I was hoping for some good grub, but you turned on an exotic feast that woke up my taste buds. I really appreciate you taking the time to cook for all of us, especially knowing how buggered we all felt from being out in the heat all day. Next time we do this, we'll just hit the local pub or order pizzas, so that we could all just sit back, have a few beers and relax. To all those that helped clean up thanks also; to the two that didn't do shit, lift up your game if you want to be invited to the next one! PS: I want PICS!!!!
  5. Screw you fat boy! I could say that now
  6. See you all at 9:30am!!!!

    Deca Wrap Up Thread

All you guys just take it too seriously. The more mods i done to my car, the slower i got and the MORE FUN I HAD!! People are wasting money buying semi slick for DECA, i just throw on the cheapest pair of tyres, on the rear, and do my best to hold a slide, when i spin (note i didn't say "if i spin" ) i do my best to make some smoke and put on a show
  8. Have to agree with TJ. Bit late to drop out now and leave Hamish to pick up the tab I'm still working on Nikki and getting him to come to this; unfortunately it's a bad time of year for him, so he still can't commit..............yet
  9. I'll be there!! Had this in my calender for the last month or so
  10. Hamish what time are we meeting and where exactly? Couldn't see any details in the original post. Maybe ask Ash to mod the first post to include these details.
  11. Really looking forward to this Hamish, it's going to be a wicked weekend!
  12. Shit Dane!! Hopefully your luck will change soon mate! Sad to hear that you're still having a few minor issues with the set-up I was sooooo hoping to see it at DECA yesterday.

    Deca Wrap Up Thread

Awesome weekend!! Thanks to all, who made the event possible!!
  14. I also have the day off. Gym, Load up the cars, then head to Shepparton. BEC: What time, on Friday, are you looking at being at DECA?
  15. I went through half a tank after 25 laps of Winton
  16. So why you guys bitching about poor fuel economy on powerful cars I would say my car could get over 600km on freeway driving, on a tank, just never had to drive it that far to test it out.
  17. Ash/Ron you can have power and economy I only used less than a 1/4 tank and you both know my car ain't shy on power I usually get about 520km to a tank, and that includes either a spirited cruise, DECA day, etc.
  18. Awesome night! Thanks Ash for running the night and to all others involved (Sorry Wayne couldn't make it) Good to catch up with a few friends and a few new people. Great way to unwind after a shitty day working at my house. Just a note to a VERY FEW new people, as they left the carpark (Ash feel free to edit or delete if i'm out of line) Nothing our members hate more than dip-shits trying to do burn-outs as they leave the meet. If only you could hear our comments as a few of you left the carpark, i'm sure you would not do it again. If you want to be a "hero", do it away from club members and not at club meets. If we have unwanted attention because of your bullshit, i'll be all to happy to pass on your number plate details to the cops.
  19. I'll be at Fenix at 6pm, should be finished my 7pm, just get Anthony to sms me so i don't forget I wont have the 'line with me though
  20. Shanus: Bring a helmet and feel free to jump in the passenger seat, when you come down
  21. A bit of info about the event wouldn't go astray Is it just an outdoor car show, with a dyno? If so why is it being called Tuners Battle, unless the dyno is the main feature; but according to your first post the dyno is an added feature/bonus and isn't 100% confirmed. The flier does nothing to make me want to check it out, let alone enter, as there is no info about what the event is about. How long has this event been running, in this format, is this the first year?
  22. Well I have just got home. Was an awesome day, car performed exceptionally and it remained on the track all day Low boost (16psi) was ideal as power delivery is not as agressive and come on smoothly, delivering all 300+rwkw to the tarmac without kicking out .
  23. Hey Bec i'll be staying both Friday and Saturday nights. Thanks
