If you already own the 33, i hope you get your licence b4 1/07/07
I guess even if you do get your licence b4 1/7/7, you run the risk of a $1100 fine and 3 dimerit points, for every time you get pulled over, for the next 3yrs .
Just read Snowie's and your post. If you want me to have a look at the possibility of extending the cable, just let me know. And if the device is rated to 12V, it would be easy to hook it up to your cigarette lighter. Even the 6V devices would be simple to convert to 12V
I have two of these for sale. One purchased through this GB and the second through ebay.
[ To cut a long story short: Purchased the ebay one first; it arrived damaged; after alot of dicking around i thought i was going to get ripped; bought one through this GB; after 3 months, i received a replacement plenum from the ebay seller. Both are identical and are very decent for the amount paid.]
I have decided to use another plenum as the car will be partly of show quality and this is the only part that i had purchased cheaply.
I am selling both for $250ea + postage
PM me if interested.
Well surely the insurance will chase the parents for payment, as you would have a police report and you could provide an address.
Then once the money is coming out of the parents' wallets, then they will give a shit where their kids are at night
Did "he trip and bump his head on the kurb, as he was trying to escape"
How does that work Gordo? Not only do i loose money owing but an extra $2k?
We have found an agent that will look after the property and evict the mole. Once she is out we will get the debt collectors involved, may not see the money from her, but she will be black listed and have a bad credit rating.
Our insurance will cover the money lost.
Sounds like it could be a number of problems
- wiring
- tune
- posible leaking injectors
- ecu
- etc.
Take it to a another mechanic who can diagnose the fault and sort out the issues. On the net you will just get a whole heap of "maybe's" but no real solution.
Not being rude/smart/etc., but why post up on SAU, when there are SOOOOOOOO many VL / Commodore forums that have better experience/knowledge on the RB30et. Even the R31 forum would likely know more and be of greater assistance.
Different dynos. Some dynos are very power happy, or maybe the operator didn't set it up correctly.
Don't take the 300rwkw as gospal, otherwise you are setting yourself up for disappointment . Aim for 250-270rwkw; once again Dyno dependant.
Drove my car today for the second time in 3 months, DAMN it still feels good on 5.5 cylinders. Had to drive it to and from Centreline to get my Tein coilovers installed, that i purchased 4 days before cyl 3 called the quits.
Need to get my mechanic's ass into gear once all the parts for the engine have arrived; delays, after delays .
If you are serious, i am actually getting rid of it, as i bought a c/f 3d GT-wing to match my new c/f bonnet.
But..........I am keeping the low-mount arms, but will provide the taller arms that came with the c/f wing.
$100
Congrates on the new job Kris. You have been GREAT entertainment over the past few years; F1, MAS, etc. will never be the same . But like the next DECA, i have a funny feeling we will see you at other major events
Will try my best to make it to Geelong!
I just used 2 cheapo "L-shape" brackets, purchased from Bunnings. Just drilled new holes into the brackets.
Just a "heads-up", people have been previously defected for side-mounted plates on Skylines; even though you do see other factory released cars with their plates on the side. I never actually was defected for it.

Just had a look at that flow chart and it doesn't mean shit to me. So from that graph how can you determine what boost pressure, on an rb25, the turbo goes out of it's efficency range. Can you answer that question? As that is what is being asked. If not it's best to just keep such useless comments to yourself.
Just because you know how to read it, doesn't mean everyone can. Just like the fact i know other shit that you wouldn't know .
For that price ($875 delivered) you can get a GENUINE GReddy plenum from Rocket Industries (Aust company).
What are people's opinion on the genuine GReddy plenums? I have already bought one and will be fitting it on my new engine soon.
Very nice car candy33, would love to see that paint at dawn, on a fine day
Well that's when my paint looks best.
I tend to go through Cairnlea Drv after getting off the Western Ring Road. I drive through there regularly, mostly with my work car.
