  1. True.................. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm........... Maybe i should just get Brisby to test drive my car, the next time it is at DECA

    Delahey

Yep still here Candy33: How come i have never seen you? With a paint job similar to mine, i would have thought you sticked out like a sore thumb.
  3. Not much skill involved here, hey snowy Question is can you get a better time than Chris, if he was to drive your car **Just stirring the pot, buddy.............only said in light jest **********
  4. I couldn't beleive what this idiot was saying, he had no remourse for his lack of driving abilities. BAN his licence for life!
  5. WTF! WHY? He obviously was doing some rediculous speed on his bike to get disqualified for 12 months, and from the pics looks like he was doing it in a residential area. Cop was only doing his job. Just hope you learn that the roads are not your personal race/stunt track.
  6. No doubt the factory facia has the best illumination. But i just didn't like th aqua colour on a pearl red car I am more then happy with how mine turned out
  7. Thanks Steve, Here is my hand drawn schematic; the "diodes" are actually the LEDs
  8. worked fine for me
  9. Not trying; Have done, 3yrs ago
  10. Since i had no info when i did my facia, i didn't get the facia primed in black, which resulted in the LEDs shining through the paint, as spots. To over-come this, i stuck some black foam strips on the inside right in front of the LEDs, this solved the problem and created an even glow. The black prime coat was a solution that i thought of after i finished the facia.
  11. Only thr Jap Spec are stiff. If you bought them through Fulcrum they would be ALOT better and comfortable. Yet the still have enough dampner ajdustment to make them pretty damn stiff.
  12. Julian, the "diodes" in my diagram are LEDs, just lazy and didn't put the light mark. A LED is a Diode .
  13. Mal called, and told me to switch channel, so i did. All i saw was vids of hoons, Kev very briefly say something about driver education and the echo doing two 360 turns. That's it! I saw more hoon vids than anything else And Mal said Bec was seen very briefly, and not even driving
  14. The police may not pay no mind to the power/weight restrictions now, but wait till July. $1000 fines, 3 dimerit points and a big push from Bracksie Unfortunately, i could only see the price of 33's plummiting further after July, as p-platers will see cops enforcing this 15yr old law, and will be selling them left, right and centre
  15. Tein: Great Japan quality. If bought through Fulcrum, they are re valved/sprung for Australian roads. G4 Racing: Cheaper quality, not sure where they are made. Will not perform as good, in the long run. Even though the SK gb kit are great, i still prefer my adjustability. I like the thought of adjusting the stiffness for various roads, events, conditions, etc. And the Tein EDFC makes it soooooooooooooooo much easier
  16. That wouldn't do shit . You can not make up your own rules, and if it was challanged, you would have no hope of winning the case.
  17. Awesome!
  18. This leads me to my next question: As the head is sitting an inch higher, is this going to cause problems; just like the radiator issue in the VL? Do i need one of those custom remote radiator fluid reservoirs, thats mounted higher in the engine bay?

    Pissed Off

PM Silva33, he may have most the stuff you're after
  20. Damn Kev, you better run a few more of these later in the year, when my car is back on the road. PS: Just out of interest. Is this event classed as a "Driver training day"? Only ask as Shannons covers accidents that have occured on such events . Could be my perfect solution, to get back on the track. A couple more of these after August would be great!
  21. Fair enough, i stand corrected Just assumed a 20yr+ old motor would be more prone to failure, especially when almost every VL in the country has been flogged to death .
  22. Sorry, my bad. Am selling, but already have 2 potential buyers. Since the turbo is less than 5,000 km old, i do not intend to give it away
  23. Fark this rental bullshit, i totally forgot about the meeting
  24. andru: If you are suggesting on slapping a std rb30 bottom end to your neo head, then you're better off building the rb25 with strong internals. The rb30 bottom end does not add strength to an engine, it fact it's probably more prone to blowing, only quality components used in the build make the engine stronger. I have calculated my build to cost somewhere in the region of about $10K.
