  1. Here are a couple of mine from the 2009 F1GP.
  2. Happy b'day guys!
  3. All i say is that i love my combo the way it is! It's a 525hp turbo and i'm squeezing 330rwkw out of it, so i'm pretty sure i'm maxing it out; hence why the boost drops as the rpms increase. Once max flow, of a turbo, is reached; any increase in rpm needs to result in a decrease in boost, as you can't have more than maximum flow. (hope that makes sense) When i'm making over 235rwkw and over 8600N of tractive torque @100km/h, what do i have to complain about
  4. Entered and paid! How do i check whether the WRX club have recieved my form/money? IE: Is there an entry list? Hey John, i'll probably disappoint you mate. I'm out to have a fun day, as i've already kissed a wall once, at the WRX track day, and the wall on the straight of Winton is farken close to the track. I'm also going to be running street rubber, so i'll be taking it a little more easier.
  5. Have entered Winton. Should be a great day. Bris you have a PM mate!
  6. Thanks Martin
  7. Hey Bris, you got a spare seat and harness i could borrow?
  8. What "Class" shall i enter my car in? I'm going to be using street rubber. I am thinking "Skyline Class", but don't want to hold up faster cars running semi slicks, with better drivers Is my car too fast for "Novice"? I am not out for times, just to have a bit of fun. "Expected lap time": Any help here would be great!
  9. Great! Will look into. Thanks.
  10. That was more of a "dig" at Bris I also wouldn't fark the balance of a 180, by fitting an rb into it. When flat footed, in 3rd, things get "interesting" at about 80km/h. October hey.... Any threads up yet? What type of track day is it?
  11. We all know that an rb30 conversion is where it's at! Slap on a 550hp Garrett and you have 320+rwkw with better response than a std/factory rb25 setup I am tempted to take mine to the next Winton track day, whenever that is, have been giving some serious consideration Below is an older power curve. My car now makes 330.6rwkw with even better response and more torque; as we have since adjusted the cam gears and done a retune
  12. Hey Paul, Just got a cold, feel like shit. I'll probably be at my house tomorrow mowing or painting, so i feel ya pain. Good Luck!!
  13. Happy B'day Joel! Hope you had a great dad and a better night.

    Happy Birthday Al

Thanks to all! Saturday night was great! Just came back from the GYM, trying to work off those CALs, from all the food, beer and sweets (A binge once in a blue moon is fine )

    Calder

Bullshit! I use to work at Calder and i have mates that are still working there. Calder night drags have ceased, for the time being, but will be up and running again some time in the future. How long? i have no idea.
  16. Wise words Sarah those pics came out awesome!!
  17. You miss understood. I said to drop the exhaust from after the dump pipe, then to do another dyno run, to check if your mufflers are causing a restriction Who made the exhaust manifold?
  18. Have you dropped the exhaust from the dump pipe back? Have you measured boost before and after fmic? Sounds like you have a restriction somewhere and i doubt it's the rb25head. My mechanic has made 485rwkw using a built rb25det and a T04Z (C16 fuel) My car has made 330rwkw using a built rb25/30 and a GT30R (GT3076R) ** EDIT: ** Looking at your graph, the power you're making isn't bad at all
  19. A few great pics there Jarrod!!
  20. DECA Shepparton, Sat 15th August.
  21. That's why you have the 33
  22. Are you serious or just posting for shits and giggles???? Having 1100hp of turbos and stating "I want more down low response rather then waiting for something to happen" along with "when my economics allow" are the most laughable statements i have read in a looooooong time. Not trying to be insulting, just waking you up to a little reality before you blow all your money on a project that; a/ Will never acheive what you desire or b/ Will never be completed properly, due to a lack of funds or c/ Will not last long This isn't the movies and F&F physics do not apply in the real world. If you want response, use a pair of 300'ish hp turbos. If you want all out power, put aside $100K and don't expect it to be street driven or hit any usable boost in 1st or 2nd gears, unless you're using NOS to get it off the line and spooling.
  23. From your Avatar i am guessing r32???? Use a couple of lengths of wood to hold the glass up. See is you could slide the wood inside the door and somehow wedge them into place. If you can't find a 2nd hand item, try contacting a brake/accelerator cable business to make you a new cable. I know there is a company that makes accelerator cable on Mt Alexandra Rd, Flemington. Have no idea of the business name.
  24. As Shane has suggested................. What is the aim for your project? Or What do you want to achieve/do with your car?
  25. Another VERY WELL executed cruise by Wayne, thanks mate; the time and effort is greatly appreciated Awesome roads, good company and some nice mountain views, with a little exercise to stretch those legs, after a long drive, what more could on ask for. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and so did all other people i was talking to. Thanks to those with the cameras, those pics are looking great, keep them coming!
