  1. Doesn't sound like you have fixed up all your mods/issues
  2. Or Do they suit a 33 GTS-t ?
  3. Glad i'm not the only one that didn't see anything , even "re-winded" a few times to try and see something
  4. Can i crash at someone's place, wouldn't mind a drink or two,.............or heaps
  5. HKS GT2535 will produce about 240-250 rwkw at about 17psi. In my mate's car not much more power gains were made with more boost
  6. I personally think the DS2500 are a great pad, had no problems at all. But my car barely sees the road more than 5 times a month, so anything brakes better than my work car . On the track the DS2500 worked VERY well, i was very impressed.
  7. Damn I just bought a bigger turbo for my new engine, as my current HKS GTRS would have choked the engine at about 5500rpm (rb25/30 combo). Oh well, 2 weeks too late
  8. Happy B'day Dee, see ya Sat night!
  9. Awesome rims. Once you get fed up of white spokes, you can powder coat them black or charcol
  10. Make it yourself Do a "search" there are a couple of threads i posted in, describing step-by-step how to make it. This way you select the illumination colour
  11. Congrats Kaz!
  12. Unlike some I do not consider this function wanky, ricey, or any other name people would like to call it. Wether the push button method is referred to as "scramble boost" or a "high/low boost switch" is irrelevant; I remember seeing a Jap DVD and while reviewing a race car, they referred to this button as "scrambled boost". Consider having a 300+rwkw, 2WD car, making a shit load of torque and power at lowish rpm, then using this car as a "club day circuit car". Running 20psi exiting a corner is going to be a recipe for wheel spin and eventually it is going to catch you out, resulting in a very expensive repair bill. So it makes sense to have "low" boost set at 14psi to limit power while exiting a corner, then once on a straight, press and hold a button to get full power (20psi).
  13. If it is activated by a static switch: great! If it is activated by a gear change, set to time intervals: shit. My idea of a boost scramble is to increase boost when required. ie: So if you have a torquey motor, making decent power and use it on the track, then you may want to only have low boost coming out of a corner, to prevent/minimize oversteer, then once on the straight you'll press and hold a button (located on the s/wheel), allowing the turbo to deliver you desired high boost setting. If you are making less than 250rwkw, it will not be of much benefit.
  14. Your best bet is Sydneykid, R33 racer or Cubes. Just drop them a PM But there are also plenty of others, on this forum, that can assist you with this problem.
  15. It hasn't turned into a drift Vs track war. I love drift and respect it as a competative motorsport; if i had an ounce of drifting skill i would give it a go myself. Just can't believable that Kym, in his $10K car, has entered and drifted a corner at 200km/h; that claim may be well recepted on NS.com, but in a SAU motorsport thread we all know he is telling some kiddy tales. Where as Jack has proven on many occations (via video footage and some awesome passenger laps) that his well set-up, big dollar, GTR is more than capable of turning a corner at 200km/h, or VERY close to. It is one thing to claim something, another to prove it Hell, i wounder if Adam Newton (Handbags) can add his view to this claim
  16. I have a set in Melb, if you have trouble locating locally
  17. Adz how the hell did you hit the cones on the quick right-left manuver (the one b4 you did the skid pan). In my fully loaded AU ute i hit 0 cones at 60km/h (first run), Jeff was amazed; barely clipped 1 at 65km/h; and 0 at 60km/h. This was in a car that requires at least twice the stoping distance
  18. Looks absolutely awesome Jeff, good luck!!
  19. *takes a deep breathe* Can you smell that??
  20. but i do
  21. But not entering corners at 200km/h To enter a corner at 200km/h and hold a drift, you need massive torque and power. Not to mention the biggest set of balls and a truck load of money. I am yet to see a professional drifter enter a corner at 200km/h, let alone yourself. Nice pic by the way But it really doen't prove that it is capable of what you are claiming.
  22. How about i fly to Sydney then drive back with you, just for the honour to be in you graceful presance
  23. Just my theory and it is open to suggestion. The way i look at it is: A 2-3yr old set of RE55s will still out preform a quality set of street tyres on the track.
  24. Kym just thought i'll offer some advise. Do you have your harness attached to your half cage or is it anchored to the rear of the car? If it is attached to the cage; i highly stress, for your safety, to change the anchor points. I have seen (while working at Calder) a car hit the wall backwards, this then pushed the half cage forward which loosened the harness , thus un-restraining the driver. After rolling, the car ended on the roof with the driver facing the seat in a very messy way, he had to be air lifted to hospital. If i was to have a cage in my car, it would definately be a full cage that meets CAMS regs.
