  1. Damn that looks clean for $11k Surprised it hasn't been swepted up yet Good Luck
  2. $500 for shipping At $1650 delivered (not sure if that also includes the duty and GST), it's much better to get the Aus Spec ones, as they have a 2yr warrenty and the dealer and service shop is in Australia. PS: I also bought my EDFC through the Austalian supplier as the price has gone up on Greenline and was only $100 differance; for the support, hassle free service and quick delivery, it's worth it. PSS: Ordered the Teins through Fulcrum Suspension (Aus distributor) on Tuesday, will be in my w/shop, in Melbourne, tomorrow.
  3. I used full MT drag radials, it too had 250rwkw, at the time. Huge burnout first. Just start in 2nd gear as tyres will be wet and cold, so traction will me minimal at the start of the burnout. Then i waited till lights went green, reved it to 6000rpm (took my time), then once i felt comfortable just dropped the clutch. The g's where farken awesome . Time only starts once the front wheel move. I didn't like the idea of staging my car at 6000rpm, while the guy took his time to press the button for the lights. Setting the right tyre pressure is the tricky part.
  4. Bullshit............. I wouldn't let my car go to the cheapist/dogey repairer, chosen by the person responsible. The victim should chose their prefered repairer.
  5. Why should the other driver put up with a sub-standard repair? $300 to repair/repaint the bar is resonable, as i have had my undamaged bar preped and painted for about the same price. The suspension bit sounds like bullshit. Tell them you want to come and take photos, then let them take you to court and the case will be thrown out the doors
  6. Most probably yes, the cooler will have different supports; but brackets can easily be made up or new supports welded to the cooler.. Also check the width of the core and the whole cooler as the fmic may be wider than your chasis rails, and i HIGHLY recommend you don't cut your chasis rails .
  7. There isn't much choice and there isn't much differance in design from what's on offer. Personally i would much rather get a 400R rear bar and pods, makes the ass end look fat!
  8. You guys are a bunch of weak sauce muppets Ooooh........the west is bad, i'm scared................. Lived here for 25+yrs and have never had any issues.
  9. Well, just got off the phone with Calder and they are booked till the end of this month. So April onwards should be OK at this point. Do people have any preferances on dates, or any dates they can not attend? My can't do list: 6/4/07: Easter weekend 13/4/7: (maybe) Possible driver training day, the next day
  10. Chris: I am planning on going but am not sure what time i'll get there as I have a Bucks Nite on Saturday . Ziad: You pay at the gates, on the day. Not too sure how many people will enter, as this is the first event of this type they are holding, and they left it to the last minute to confirm event and advertise. This event is also advertised in alot of other forums, so hopefully they get a good turn-out. Dave: Our events schedual seems to clash too often . Well congratulations to Anna for putting up with you for a whole year as a married couple. Lets hope the many more years of marrage doesn't send her insane . Hahaha: All the best buddy, we need to catch up soon!!
  11. PS: Northern Street Cruizers were responsible for SAU's first intoduction to DECA and look what we have made of it .
  12. Thanks Jack For $40, i too am VERY surprised there has been no interest posted
  13. Claims to be in Sydney, but the plates look like Tassie plates
  14. Also for big items such as coil-overs, the chances of customs seizing the package until tax is paid will be high. I checked all net prices, but decided to pay the extra $'s, as they will be a more better and comfortable ride and have better service support for the coil-overs.
  15. But if they are the Jap spec ones, they may be too stiff for Australian roads. Thanks for the link though, i will be contacting Slide if Greenline does not respond by Friday.
  16. I would actually buy them from the Australian supplier (Fulcrum Suspension), as they have been made (re-valved, different spring rates, etc) for Australian roads. Call: 1300 SUSPENSION. I just ordered my set yesterday $1772 + $20p&h. Best price i found for the EDFC was through Greenline Montorsport. Just waiting on Greenline to reply to my e-mail, so that i can place the order for the EDFC.
  17. Sounds like you rear ABS sensor/s are faulty or damaged. Both ABS and ATTESSA systems use the ABS sensors to determine slip/skiding/etc.
  18. Al

    What Merc Is This?

Wait till you have to repair something on it , then tell me it's not expensive.
  19. I am always available to give you a hand Dave, let me know when you want to start stripping down the car for parts. Sunday or Monday?
  20. Nah, just admiring my work ie: making sure the double sided tape hasn't lifted, as it is the only thing holding that lip . 3M FTW!!!!!
  21. 4dr half cut ftw! We can make use of the rear doors
