  1. engine bays in them are so boring
  2. You'd think taking up 2 bays is asking to be keyed really, unless it's far away with lots of free bays around it. I generally just try and park where there's few other cars parked and under a light, 5 mins walk is less of a pain than coming back to a dented door Although parked far away and by itself makes other cars think it's lonely so they need to come park next to it when there's heaps of other free spaces.
  3. Yeah I'm just after a good one, doesn't have to be K&N. Should have mentioned I want a panel filter not pod too
  4. haha that's a slight difference in price, might have to check it out..never been to that shopping centre
  5. I know there was a thread on where to get high flow filters in Perth without having to pay stupid amounts, I just can't find it. So, anyone know a good place to get air filters from in Perth? Auto1 wants over $120
  6. Uni carparks really suck. Parked my car at curtin and came back to a massive dent all the way along the drivers door, it was about 2cms deep. Was my Mums car so her insurance covered it though
  7. Does anyone have a movie/recording of the CES magnaflow system for an r34? Wonder what the performance difference between it and a fujitsobo system are?
  8. 4 door look like a maxima and a 350z got "busy"
  9. I used vortex when there was no ultimate and some caltex's were running out. Attendant said that they wouldn't have any until middle of december, thought it was a bit of a coincidence that it was the same time ultimate was meant to be back. Maybe our vortex is just ultimate that's been cut with lower grade fuel to make it 96 ron.
  10. I don't think people are realising that alchohol and petrol are two different things. Nissan doesn't recommend it for a good reason, it negatively effects your fuel system. Sure it might work fine for a week, but what about in a year when your fuel lines are brittle, valves swolen and metal components corroded?
  11. Noticed mine doing it at idle today too (r34 GTT auto) wouldn't say a baseball bat bit a little nudge for sure.
  12. I got the largest sized plain visor last weekend from supercheap. think it's 170x150 or similar, it's a little too big on the sides but it covers the entire dash, no gaps. Cost like $10, is reflective on one side and blue on the other. Good thing is it's made from hard bubble wrap stuff, makes it a pain to store but it doesn't fall down or bend in the middle and expose bit of the interior. It's meant to go blue side out but I found it works better silver side out.
  13. my autowatch has an inbuilt timer
  14. I know a few people here have put their xenons back in after compliancing, does anyone have the instructions that the compliancxe centres use to take them out? Would help me alot
  15. You'll find pics on any car sales site really. You probably do have the N/A version, it's more square I think.
  16. Finally finished mine last night, worked fine. My O2 levels in calumsult stablize at idle but when I rev it they go crazy. The voltage goes up and down all over the place between 0 and max, quite fast too.
  17. What run is vortex? I thought 95. I asked the gull guys what ron their premium was and they said 96.
  18. Or tell your insurance company to stick it Paying them a fortune per year and they won't send out their own valuer?
  19. Just heard on the radio that theres something wrong with BPs ultimate refinary here in Perth and the supply of ultimate is going to dry up in the next couple of days until they get it fixed, my local is already empty had to go somewhere else. Not sure if this affects anywhere else in the country but thought people might want to get a full tank while they can
  20. Off topic but arkon your rear lights are totally different to mine, they aftermarket?
  21. Zazacks can you run down the estimation for us? Interested in where the $1500 saving is.
  22. Found this place when looking for a top gear vid: http://www.youtube.com/results.php?related=Nissan+Skyline Everyone but me probably already knows about it though
  23. Big Rizza is right, it uses a combination of steering wheel angle, speed and lateral force sensors to determine the angle to set the back wheels to. Aswell as making turning response sharper is also tries to correct oversteer, the best example of this I've seen is the gtr special top gear did. Clarkson had a big drift going and as soon as he went to correct it you could see the rear snap into place, looked cool and great for normal driving but you can see why people use lock bars
  24. Thanks totoro, big help. When I mean the TV doesn't work it won't pop up. You can't get reception on it because japanese digital TV uses a different protocol than we do here.
