  1. I think I found a better place we can go to up there. Just out of Nelson Bay proper. It's called Fly Point Park. Plenty of parking, Lots of Tree cover in case its hot, and I think it may even have BBQs but I'll have to check that out. Just another destination to throw into the mix I guess
  2. Yeah over Kooragang would be the best way. People just have to be have the entire way though, cause the police have been everywhere between Stockton and The Bay for the past couple of weeks due to so many people starting holidays early.
  3. The more the merrier I say! We could probably work out a good meeting spot. Maybe on the Link Rd somewhere and we can take the long way around or something. I might take a drive this week and look for a good spot for cars to stop/meet. How many of you guys?
  4. Was a HUGE day for us, but we loved it! Well done to Kel and Duncan for organising it, even though the Castle Hill end was a friggin nightmare for someone who doesn't live in Sydney. But once we got out near Windsor I was having a ball! Even though I was freaking out a little when the clues started to get further apart. Thanks again! I'll be back next year and hopefully with more of the Newy Crew
  5. I woke up at 5:30am! My legs ache, my head won't stop thumping and I've already taken codeine. Leavin home in 40 mins! Whoo!
  6. Yeah and I think cruising through the middle of Nelson Bay will definately turn some heads! Of course we could just stop in the bay, but it's all paid parking.....yuck!
  7. I'm pretty sure my g/f and I are coming down. We'll be the ones in the Burgandy 33 standing by ourselves so come say hello cause I have no idea who any of you are!
  8. Buying lunch will be a pain in the arse, since the only take away there is bloody expenisive and not all that good. Smallest portions I've ever seen! We could just go somewhere else in the bay, like over to Fingal or something. They have a top take away and some great views.
  9. I'm hopefully still in. Just had a wisdom tooth out yesterday and am a bit sore. Should be fine by Sunday though, but we'll see.....
  10. thanks man. helps to know I haven't missed something
  11. I've just installed a Greddy Plumback Type S BOV and I noticed it has two pipes coming from the top of the BOV. I know one has to go to the plenum but where do you have to connect the lower pipe too? Is it supposed to be connected back into the system somewhere down near the boost actuator? As I said, stupid question, but I have a "hole" in my system and it's making a hell of a whining noise and I think thats where it's coming from. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Awesome. The BBQ's at the caravan park would be great. yeah, the only advantage of Everitt Park would be the amount of parking at the boat ramp.
  13. I meant Soldiers Point. I'll check out on Tuesday if there are BBQs up there.
  14. Turns out that lovely whining sound is my turbo telling that it has a boo boo. So I doubt I'll be down, unless we use Dave's car instead.... Dang car!
  15. Have you given thought to where we might park/meet yet? Cause we prob should.
  16. yeah, thats why I have the nice littl;e blue bar under my name

  18. If I can figure out where the pressure in my system is releasing from and fix it before then I'm in. Crazy f**kin car.... Have to get one of the Newy boys to come down and navigate for me.
  19. I'm definately in! And by December there will be a BP in Salamander Bay, so there's actually decent fuel up there just in case I need it on the way back down!
  20. Considering its a Hybrid kit I'm a little dissapointed that it didn't have one. Can I just purchase said tap from somewhere or do I have to get it professionally done?
  21. Hey guys and girls, Have just installed my FMIC and a nice Greddy plumback BOV, however I'm un-sure as to where to hook up the bleed valve hose to now. The old cooler pipe was the standard Blitz item + BOV that the majority of Skylines arrive out here with, and it had a nipple to attach the hose before the bov. Any suggestion on where to hook it up now? Would really appreciate the help. Thanks
  22. Hey guys and girls... I'm looking at getting some new suspension and everywhere I search I just can't seem to find the answers to my questions on what I really need. I've got bugger all clue about suspension, and there are differences between som packages that I'm not sure about. I've heard that G4 coilovers are good, but they don't come with camber tops, etc..... I was always lead to believe that you needed these things on a skyline. Can someone tell me if this is true? Also, I was looking at SK's Bilstein & Whiteline stuff. I've got very little clue as to what most of that stuff is and nobody in the thread seems to elaborate much on what you would need for most cars. Which I'm sure more then just me would be wondering. There seems to be a thousand options/combinations, and I don't know which one would be right. If it helps, specifically, I have a R33 S1 GTS-t and all I do at the moment is road driving, but I hope to do a few track days later on. Thanks.....
  23. I wont be going guys....sorry.... I have to fix things on the g/f's car tomorrow so she can get to work on Monday.... Damn Celicas
  24. Yeah ToyShop aren't so good... and way over priced too.... I might go have a look at SSS and powereplay tomorrow then... I'm already going to Just Jap, they've been a big help to me before, and no doubt when I go in there in my vague way tomorrow, I'll leave with some idea of what I want to do
  25. Same here.... It still bemuses me that manufacturers ever bothered to put a dimmer switch in cars anyway..... Why the f uck would you not want to see what speed your doing? Anyway, check that, it's the most common problem. The switch on mine was very tempremental....
