  1. What decent parts dealers are there around Sydney for imports? Good ones, not just random ones.... I'm making a trip to Sydney on Saturday and I'm already going to Just Jap, but I thought I might check out some others around the place and see if they have anything worthwhile as well.
  2. I love people that are deperate to sell things but don't ever want to be online to answer replies.....
  3. I have one around, but I'll have to hunt down the screws. They're somewhere in a toolbox. I'll have a look and let you know.
  4. I'd say good luck to you actually.... I actually really considered buying these, till I scrolled down and saw that they're on eBay for $95 + postage! Even though eBay isn't the be all and end all mate, you need to do some research and sell goods for a realistic price. And if your a trader, make a bloody donation to the club. It's for the good of us all. And don't try and make out your not a trader, or at least a semi-trader. Especially since you have tried to sell things in several threads now.
  5. Or, as you already have them, I'd definately be asking for 25-50% off the price you paid. Basically what they would go for as 2nd Hand with Gutter rash.... Ask around at a few places that sell heaps of 2nd hand rims what price they might put on something with those sort of imperfections. If they're alloy, don't forget most minor imperfections are easily fixed by machining, but I definately wouldn't be paying for it out of my pocket!
  6. Damn this could be a big weekend for me.... I think at this stage I'm driving to Sydney on Saturday to get parts I'm buying, and then this on Sunday..... Dang.....
  7. Thats an even better idea
  8. Any aluminium place will sell them. But sheet sizes are generally no smaller the 2400x1800.
  9. Hey guys and girls.... I really need a heater box/core to suit an R33. Would obviously suit someone who is stripping an R33. Also, I'm after a stock R33 Airbox if anyone knows of one around. Cheers
  10. So we're driving down to meet in a car park? I thought we might at least be going somewhere interesting What "issues" are you talking about?
  11. hmmmm I might come out of hibernation.....
  12. The other big problem is, with fuel getting more and more expensive, people are selling their 6cyl cars and going for smaller, more efficient cars which have less safety features and the like. People don't realise that the Charade or Excel they're buying their kids cause it seems so cheap and will be a small reliable car for them to drive around could also kill them if they are unlucky enough to be hit from front or side on in an accident. There was an accident out the front of one of my houses back when I was 21. It was the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. And my natural reaction to jump the fence and go help made it worse when I saw the victim close up and had to listen to her screams for weeks afterwards in my head. That kind of shit really wakes you up when you think your fairly invincible on the roads.
  13. I'm hoping to go Sunday if the move gets finished. I wont rush now I know you guys are gunna be there Paul & Stace. Thats one of the main reasons I was actually going. I missed your dyno stuff last year and I wanted to see you tear them a new one this year. I'll prob still go for the chicks and rice though
  14. Unfortunetly it'd be virutally impossible to starve them out of business, cause Ricers and those that don't know any better think they're the shiz.... Maybe we need "anti" bumber stickers Being a Newcastle lad, I take mine to Tyrepower up here in Warners Bay. I've never gotten anything but a cheap price, and the guy who does my alignments is that fussy that he once insisted that I bought it back the next day so he could fix it for free. I saw or felt nothing wrong with it But who am I to disagree with a perfectionist.
  15. I've got pretty much the same problem too. I'm going out to check fuses now, are the fuses for an R33 S1 in the boot then? Cause theres none under the bonnet for headlights.
  16. Goddamn headlights One bulb blew, then when I replaced it I replaced the other side too so that they were the same bulb. Then that side decided not to work at all. Now, just this afternoon, when I was trying to figure out the problem, both have decided not to work The bulbs are fine, but I don't seem to be getting any power to them. I tested at the lights, then further back the loom where there is a fuse and there is no power there either, plus the fuse there was fine. Is there any other relay or fuse somewhere between the front and the steering column that may have gone south? Cause I don't see it as being a broken wire or anything as it was all of a sudden and I would assume I'd still have power further up the loom. Help please
  17. Oh man that is fully sik! I wish I could f**k up my car like that! And I wish I was hell enough to "f**k The Police" in a vid like that too! Personally I think he should have used a Barry Manalow song
  18. I really couldn't be bothered driving all the way to Sydney in the rain, and then back along putty road in the rain. I was way too lazy Plus, I'm travelling to Sydney twice more this week, so something had to give. I would have loved the day though. Never been on Putty before
  19. I think what Dan meant to say was, "You should join, because this is just one of the many benfits you get from being an SAU NSW member" lol
  20. As stated previously, Engineers only put advisory speeds on corners, what they do generally has very little to do with the setting of a speed limit. Speed limits are set on locations, ie Residential, Rural, Freeway, Local Traffic Zones, etc.... The only bearing Engineers reccomendations have on these is that if you look at a rural road that you could do 90km/h onbut it has several corners they are limited to 70km/h or below, then that section would be a slower limit like 70-80km/h. I got a speeding fine last week and i was doing 81-78 in a 60 zone. It's my first fine in the Skyline, and the first one I've had since I was 19. I take full responsibilty for it as I simply wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. I was paying more attention to the boxes I had in my car that I was moving.
  21. yeah i think you should stay indoors thie Queens B'Day dave....
  22. Oh god man..... Just about any workshop around here can sell, or get you bolt ons... If they don't have em, it'd only take a day or two. Most things can be gotten from Autobarn though. It's in Greenhills Shopping centre at... well.... Greenhills. Follow the Pac. Highway out of Newcastle, towards Maitland/Raymond Terrace.... At Hexam it'll split into New England, keeping heading towards Maitland. About 10-15 mins from there you'll go under an overpass and then down a hill with a few sets of traffic lights. At the top of the hill turn left and follow that on a little. It's right next door to the Caltex Servo. Easy..... Bodykits however are harder to come by up here. Jetspeed are the only one I know of, although I'm sure there is others somewhere.
